Been eating here for years, i only go to 2 Viet places to eat Viet good this is one of them.

I was in the mood for some good ol' Vietnamese food and I've driven by Pho Brothers about a million times, so I figured why not give finally the joint a try? We arrived around dinnertime on a recent weeknight and the place was almost empty. We snagged a comfy booth near the front of the restaurant and began perusing the menu. I knew exactly what I wanted, though, so I was mainly going through the motions for the benefit of my dining companion. I almost always get the exact same thing when I first try a new Vietnamese restaurant, and so it was that I ordered the Grilled Beef & Spring Roll with Vermicelli. It arrived a short time later accompanied by the requisite dish of fish sauce and it certainly looked promising. And indeed, it's a decent-enough variation on this venerable dish. All the components are well prepared and assembled, and the fish sauce perfectly ties everything together. However, I can't say I was exactly blown away by the dish. Everything about it felt awfully middle of the road, and I was disappointed that the beef didn't contain that grill-forward flavor I associate with this meal. Still, I enjoyed eating this dish and I'm fairly certain I will again. Maybe next time, however, I'll try a bowl of their Pho. It's probably the thing to order there, given that the word "pho" is in the title of the place. read more

From the outside it doesn't look impressive until you step into an elegant, modern open space of turquoise and shiny lights!! All the light fixtures are mesmerizing for a Viet place!!! The middle space is filled with booth sitting as previous reviews mentioned it was an empty space. I like how it looks now. It feels more "complete". One waiter didn't know what hot water was until the third time when he placed the cup in front of me. My beef noodle soup was larger than anticipated as I got a medium. The broth was thicker to my liking. It's probably because the rice noodle was over cooked. There are enough beef pieces, but would love more carrot. My partner liked his dish of stir fried rice noodle with beef and Chinese broccoli (gai lan). A waiter came to check on us half way through dinner which was nice and a surprise. Most Asian places don't do that. Verdict: the place was bright and clean. The booth areas are comfy. I will definitely go back to try their other dishes!!! I am a bit sad. This was my favourite pho place in sauga but was extremely disappointed after a recent experience with my take out pho. My bf and I sat there for a good minute ( or few mins) debating why there was a piece of lime that appeared to be already juiced out with the fresh veggies they gave us ... like could they have accidentally gave us someone's scrap veggies ? Or could they be using leftover veggies from dinners'plates than recycling it and giving it to other diners? I started becoming more disgusted thinking about it. After shopping at Sherway Gardens, I was going to try the Cactus Club at Sherway. The wait was 1.5 hour so I decided to go for pho. I must say I am glad I came here! The ambiance is nice, it feels like a nice cafe with modern lighting serving pho. For the appetizer, I ordered the squid balls and they were good, very authentic and tasted home made. They serve it shrimp paste sauce. You can actually taste small bits of squid inside. Very unique. The spring rolls didn't really stand out after the squid balls. The #102 pho with rare and cooked beef was good. The beef tasted nice, not too tough and the pho was nice and thin. The broth wasn't too salty. I will definitely be back. Patio was almost full when we arrived. There was only one server. He appeared overwhelmed and not happy to be there. Service was incredibly slow, we were waiting about half an hour just to get water. They kept forgetting things and were disorganized in general. I sympathize with the server as he had to handle so many tables on his own. The food arrived 45-60 mins after we got there. We visited Pho Brothers for the first time a couple of weeks ago. We were greeted and seated immediately after entering the restaurant. The servers all seemed very friendly and efficient. We loved that the tea came in a thermos carafe so it stayed very hot for our entire visit. The interior of the restaurant is very bright and modern. The seats are all a very bright blue colour, but it really works! The food was very good. My pho was delicious, with plenty of protein and 1/2 noodles just as I had asked for. My husband had the My Tho style soup with seafood and clear noodles and he really enjoyed it. It was also full of plenty of protein and had the 1/2 noodles he'd asked for. Glad we decided to check out this place hidden in a small plaza on Dixie. The quality of beef in the rare beef and brisket pho was great; not a lot of fat and a good portion. The service was quick and their cutlery is provided in individual wrapping. Tables are spaced far apart and I felt pretty safe with their precautions. Overall would recommend! read more

My family and I went out during the Christmas break to try out the newly opened Pho Brothers restaurant. At the time there was a 20% discount as they just opened. The first thing that we all noticed was the spacious interior. One side of the room had regular tables and the other had grilling tables. We came to try their pho so we didn't use the grilling tables. The majority of us ordered pho and my dad got the fried noodles with mixed vegetables and seafood. Food didn't take long to come out and service was good. We didn't find anything special for the pho that would set it apart from other competitors. My dad enjoyed his fried noodles and had to bring it home as it was a large portion. Since I don't live close to the area I most likely won't be returning anytime in the near future. Hmmm so I recently decided to try out new places every Sunday and so far it's been trying out new pho places LOL. Read reviews here and showed a 4* so we went here. Good luck tryna make the left turn into the plaza, it's shortly after the Dundas light and there isn't a left lane. Parking is also limited, if there aren't any at the front you need to go to the back and that might be full too. Getting to the back was a bit tight so be careful when you're heading back. Obviously I had to get the same Pho; Pho Tai and it wasn't too bad. My bf and his brother said the soup tasted a little bland but to me it tasted "healthier" ?? LOL. Clear. Ching (in canto) so I didn't mind it. Plus I always put Siraccha after I tried the original soup base so flavour isn't a huge issue for me. The rare beef tho was a little chewy and was kinda hard to eat for some reason - probably couldn't eat 3 pieces. Ps if you h8 cilantro like me, they put a lot of that so maybe ask in advance if you don't want it on. I also ordered the deep fried spring rolls because I wanted to try it. I usually like 99 spring rolls cuz they're super crispy! These spring rolls were normal looking but tasted good! Kinda like my moms homemade spring rolls. I gave a piece to everyone to try and all said it was good. Dropped by on New Year's Day for lunch with a group of friends. Mostly everyone ordered Pho and the first thing I did was try the soup. I quite enjoyed the taste of the soup which is a tradition of mine at every new Pho restaurant I try, prior to anyone drenching it with the sauces. For me personally, I wasn't in a noodle eating mood so I opted to get Beef Balls in Soup. I was expecting a bowl of Beef Balls in broth from the Pho, but was surprised to see Beef Balls in a sour soup broth. The broth came with some celery, tomatoes and pineapples. It had a nice sour and slightly spicy kick to it. I liked it but couldn't finish it all. The best part of my meal would definitely have to be the chicken wings. They weren't overly oily, salty or sweet. Think typical Chinese chicken wings with more flavour. Would definitely order it again. All in all, no complaints for my first time here and would likely come back to Pho Brothers if I'm in a mood for Pho. read more

Pho Brothers!! Amazing!!! The area has tight competition with pho dau bo, pho hung, pho lac vien, and pho rua vang close enough too. Ive tried them all and eaten every dish at these retaurants. I would rank the rice and bun dishes as the best in Mississauga with extremely generous portions of meat! The pho was also fantastic, comes out extremely hot so be careful! The Food quality is fresh and the portion of food you get is very generous. they have your normal pho restaurant menu set up and they also have a bbq grill on table that starts $60 for a4 ppl which is not bad if you were to include the 20% discount that they currently have. their menu prices are pretty much on par with other Pho restaurants but I feel that since it's a younger staff running the business that they're more attentive to make sure you get quality and quantity when you dine with them. their Deep Fried Noodles was really good and they used a different kind of egg noodle which my kids really enjoyed. the Pho special soup was amazing and the bowl was really big for under $10 My wife got a crab meat tomato soup with blood pudding and when she usually gets it at other places its never really authentic or comes close to home cooking. she was really impressed with the soup and has finally found a restaurant that can actually make her favorite soup. So I am most likely going to be here a lot for that one reason only. Going to give this place a 5 star rating for now because their a restaurant that I can see myself dining at over the usual Pho places that I go to. Pho Brothers recently opened and faces fierce competition from popular Vietnamese chains in the Mississauga area! They are doing a one month 20% off promotion for its opening until January 16th so definitely hit this place up if you're in the area. Here's my rundown: Food: I got the large rare beef and tripe rice noodle soup (pho)! I got LOTS of rice noodle and was stuffed after eating it! Would have appreciated less rice noodle and a more fragrant pho; I felt as though the starch from the rice noodles affected the broth. It was an average bowl of pho, nothing too special! The rare beef was a little hardy and didn't cook much while in the broth (it stayed pretty red, making it pretty hardy) which is not what I'm used to when I get this dish at other pho places. I also got to try the chicken wings in fish sauce marinade which was excellent! The wings were very crispy and had a great fish sauce taste to them which wasn't overpowering. The sticky rice complemented the wings well and added more depth to an already sophisticated dish! I also sampled my company's dishes (rice and the fish paste soup)! The rice was pretty standard and the fish paste soup was very aromatic (it might get stinky if you're not used to fish paste smell!) Atmosphere The place is very stylish and has real decor that adds a nice pop to the restaurant! There's lots of walking space in the restaurant and features light fixtures that adds to the aesthetic! It's a very clean restaurant on its interior and not what I expected when I saw the exterior of the restaurant! Half of the tables are equipped with a built in bbq plate which is great for those evening bbq sessions. One concern I have is that there's not much ventilation (or none that I saw) on top of those tables so the restaurant might get a little smoky if someone were to opt for that option! Service Very great service! Hands down one of the best services I've had at a Vietnamese restaurant in the area! The servers really cared if you enjoyed the food and made recommendations on the dishes. This is mainly the reason why this review got the stars it's getting. Price Cheap food and with the 20% discount, it's even more affordable. The dishes we got ranged from $9-$12 which to me is very good for a restaurant in the area! Verdict Although not the best Vietnamese food I've had in the area, the service is the best I've had. I would recommend trying this place out because of the discount and be the judge of their food. They were quite busy when I was here which may have affected the food quality but one thing that surely wasn't affected was their quality of service. I mean who, doesn't love Vietnamese food? This restaurant didn't open too long ago and we finally decided to try it. The restaurant itself focuses on Vietnamese grilled meats - similar to Korean/Japanese grill houses. Though we did not try it, it did seem like a popular option. In terms of the food we ordered - Grilled pork, sausage & spring rolls w/ vermicelli was nothing special and was much comparable to other Vietnamese restaurants. So I finally got a chance to try this place out because my usual pho place has slipped in quality. Heard the reviews so I decided to give it whirl. To be honest. Their Pho lacks a lot of flavour and richness in my opinion. But you get a giant bowl of it for a L!!! So if quantity is what you are after then this place has it for you!! HOWEVER!!! Decided to eat at Pho Brothers while driving in the area after a visit to Ikea. It was a new restaurant that had popped up in the Yelp app and I wanted to give it a try. When you first walk in, it is very evident that it brand new with their bright lights, vibrant blue chairs, and the layout of the seating was quite spacious and plentiful. It was quite busy when we went but we were seated immediately. I ordered the Bun Rieu and my boyfriend ordered a beef vermicelli bowl. Both were large in portions (my boyfriend eats a lot and he was super full) and priced reasonably. I think the flavour of the broth in the Bun Rieu was lacking a bit compared to other restaurants but the vermicelli was delicious. The staff was friendly and prompt in taking our orders and bringing in tea. The only minor thing was the food took a bit longer to get to our table, we waited over 20 minutes for the food which is uncommon at viet places. Doesn't look like much from the outside. Tucked away in the corner of a plaza lies a hidden gem. Just over a year since the little restaurant has opened. It still keeps the food quality up to standards. Friendly staff members, family owned, they strive for good customer service and great food. They are also great to their delivery service people (offering them drinks to help ease their day, I am unsure of food, food would be amazing too). The restaurant is fairly elongated with modern decors. It is the first Vietnamese BBQ location in the GTA. They do sometimes do special services (catering) if you ask and gives them a heads up. My girlfriend and I decided to go for pho for her fix. Since we never been to Pho Brothers, we have the place a drive. In the corner of the strip mall, lies a small pho shop. There are plenty of seating area and it was not too busy when we arrived. The shop is pretty modern and clean. We were greeted instantly and told to sit anywhere we'd like. We chose the booths since only psychopaths pick the regular tables. When seated, they gave us an option of cold or hot tea. We settled for the hot tea - girlfriend didn't enjoy the tea as much but I sure did. It was different the general jasmine tea. The menu has a massive selection of dishes to pick from. My girlfriend ordered herself the special while I went for the rice dish. She felt ambitious and got a medium and an app. I told her I'd help her if she can't finish. I definitely did not help her since my dish only was filling enough. She's a trooper though. Down both. Pho fixed for the next several months. I thoroughly enjoyed the one fresh rolls my girlfriend ordered, it was different from the usual shrimp rolls. The broth was good, not too salty. My boyfriend and I come here pretty often! He is Vietnamese and his mom makes amazing pho and this is one of the only places he will eat pho that isn't his mammas. i have been eating alot of Vietnamese food lately. This was recommend by my friend's friend, they were Vietnamese and they drive all the way from Toronto to eat at this restaurant. This restaurant was quite spacious and it was very comfortable sitting at the restaurant. For patron that ordered hotpot or grill, they have the stove incorporated into the table. We had pho and the grill pork rice roll. The rice roll was quite good as it was freshly made and the grill pork is still hot in the roll. The sauce for dipping the rice roll has peanuts which brings out the flavour of the sauce and give it a crunchy texture. The broth for the pho was rich and that it has lots of meat. If I was in the area, I will definitely go back for a second try to try the rest of the food on the menu. This is definitely a good restaurant to visit if you are going with a large crowd. read more

Went here for lunch with some friends, lots of great options on the menu and all tasty food. We had pho and the fresh rolls which where amazing. Great flavours fresh ingredients, I asked for extra vegetables and I got lots of veggies. Not like some places that only give you carrots and onions, pho brothers actually give you lots of different vegetables. The chicken wings are a must wow. We had lots of left overs to take home after our meal. Clean restaurant with friendly staff, definitely will be back to try more of the menu. read more

A fairly new Vietnamese restaurant that just opened a little over a month ago, Pho Brothers is intent on bringing some serious competition to the many other Viet restaurants in the area. But how does it set itself apart? The first thing you will notice when entering is that the interior is modern and spacious. Brightly lit with stylish decor it is sure to be a positive dining experience. Secondly there is an entire row of tables setup with grills for BBQ meals and this is where Pho Brothers differs from the competition by allowing new and traditional Vietnamese menu items such as grilled steak goi cuon (rice paper wraps). Not just that but they have quite a few more menu items than other competition in the area, mostly combination meals perfect for big groups. Our table ordered the Bo Bay Mon (7 Styles of Beef) and I had some Pho on the side. When the Pho came out I couldn't believe my eyes: it was enormous for a "medium" size. Similarly the other items had huge portions. The Pho was well done with a nice flavouring, the aroma was good, and the meat and veggies were fresh. Overall I'd say the Pho was slightly above average since the meat was a bit overcooked and the broth artificial. My friends all had only good things to say about the other food items though so perhaps the Pho was off that night. The only reason why I'm not giving 5 stars is because the service was lacking. The servers seem to be new (both to the industry and Canada) so they had problems communicating and kind of messed up the order (bringing out items late or forgetting them even). They're very nice people and very attentive trying their best so I can't be too hard on them. Also a problem that will get worse as they get more popular is the need to set up more tables since the waiting line can get pretty bad. I came in at 8PM and yet had a 20 minute wait. Perhaps they should utilize the open space in the middle of the dining area? Other than that this place is perfect. Their prices are highly competitive for the area and with a 20% off on ALL menu items promotion until January 16th I feel confident that they are the best Viet restaurant in Mississauga right now period. Back in town for business and I noticed they opened! Decided to try it out on a cold snowy day. I had the medium rare beef noodle soup. It was very good to me but I am not a Pho expert. The service was friendly, the order could have been a bit faster as other Pho places, the order would be ready in a minute where as here it took about 5 minutes, which is completely acceptable to me. My new favourite pho place. The broth is light and flavorful; the spices come through beautifully and give the broth the flavour it needs. I love the deep fried rolls but the fresh rolls are just as delicious and are my choice when I want a healthier option. I appreciate the 4 different bowl sizes for pho so I can easily have my soup and get a small side. The restaurant is clean and well lit. I give it 4 stars because the thai basil is not the freshest; I like to add a lot of thai basil to my pho for more flavour, however the ones I got today were speckled with black spots and I couldn't use all of the leaves. read more

I'm always excited to see a new Vietnamese restaurant open up in Mississauga because they seem to be getting more modern and innovative due to competition (esp. from Pho Ngoc Yen). This place definitely had the typical Vietnamese style interior but with some modernized decor. For a Saturday night the restaurant was not very busy, but had an adequate sized crowd. Now the reason I gave it a 3 star was nothing to do with bad food or service, but rather the lack of unique or vegetarian options. Since I visit several restaurants in Mississauga with my brother (who is a vegan) I have to choose places that can accommodate that. So we started off with the tofu rice paper roll. He wasn't a fan of that because the tofu was soft, which isn't common. The real disappointing part was that they did not have vegetarian pho, which was the main thing my brother was craving. So he settled for the tofu vermicelli. I opted for the giant prawns vermicelli. I was certainly impressed with the size of the tofu pieces in his vermicelli bowl. I really enjoyed mine too, which came with two prawns. Prices were typical to every other Vietnamese restaurant around. But overall they did not serve anything that made them stand-out. My husband and I are from the East end Scarborough and we have a go-to spot "Pho Metro" but we were passing Mississauga from Niagara and was craving some Vietnamese food. We were really impressed. There was so much variety. Not all Pho places have my favourite dish Bun Rieu but to our surprise it did and it also had a ton of traditional dishes that aren't available everywhere. My husband got the Hanoi Bun Cha. All the pieces of meat were cooked perfectly. The two patties were seasoned well. And it came with plenty of mint. A plus! The Bun Rieu though not as crabby as I'd like and am used to, was thoughtfully made. A side of banana leaf and herbs were provided. The tofu was freshly deep fried and still had a crunch. And the pork skin was delicious and offered great texture contrast. Price was good too. If ever we are in Mississauga again, we will surely revisit. read more

I've only tried their bbq. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food was high quality and it was a fun experience. Personally, I find cooking your own food too much work. Great pho and more! They have an amazing selection of different types of dishes on their menu; pho, vermicelli, bubble tea, and something that other pho places don't have - Vietnamese BBQ! (It's like Koren BBQ but Vietnamese style).
