Pho in Woodfield- alright! This place did not disappoint despite being in a food court. My dad had the house special. You can see the and taste the quality. The rare cuts of beef was rare the meatballs were tasty it even came with trip - now that's authentic!

Just opened in the Woodfield Shopping center food court. It's a quick place to stop to get your Pho fix. We had the Spring Rolls, which only had Shrimp and no Pork in them. They were fresh and tasty with three shrimp in each. The sauce was a little on the sweet hoisin side, but was good. We ordered the Chicken Pho and I have to admit, it was good. At first I thought it was going to be a Chicken soup and not a Pho, but it is a hybrid of both. When you pick up your Pho, the bowls seem deceptively small, but theis quite a bit of soup in the order. The two small problems with the meal was the side vegetables, namely the Basil, was a tiny flowertop and a couple of leafs and the other is the plastic spoons were tablespoons, they need the bigger Asian spoons. All in all, a very pleasant surprise on a hot summer's day!

    Worse noodles ever!

The worst place I've ever ordered fast food from literally one hour to a bowl of noodles and a spring roll. Very up disappointed didn't eat any more how disgusting the service was. And for it to be quick they have kiosk for better service but was worse. I wouldn't recommend this place if it was the only place in the mall.

I've ordered Pho from multiple places, this is not my first rodeo. I have NEVER EVER received Pho with TRIPE in it let alone 4 pieces of it!! Let me back up. Their Thai iced tea was absolutely phenomenal!! I would return strictly for that if I were already in the mall. Their chicken on the other hand hand the strangest gritty texture I have ever felt in my 29 years. The color was an off whitish and tasted like cardboard. Ok so unseasoned, that's fine. But the texture was not somthing I could get past. Now onto the real issue. The tripe... who serves food with multiple pieces of an animals stomach lining in it? It takes a lot to turn my stomach. Like A LOT. Like I did my clinical's in the corners office... I immediately had to throw the meal away. The smell also when I pulled that piece out of the broth was enough.

Wow. Who would have thought that pho in a mall can be so good! Before mixing the basil, jalepeno, and sriracha, I tasted the broth and I instantly knew that it took time to make. Later I read the description at the storefront to confirm that the broth simmers all day long. Had the house special pho and spring rolls. Spring rolls were decent. Pho hit the spot and was truly the star. Smidge pricy for a food court restaurant but authenticity and the non-fast-food feeling that it gives you justifies it. I'll be back to try other menu items no doubt.

Really Good Clean Pho Spot for being in the mall. Didn't wait long for it and family enjoyed it. Can be abit pricey but also worth it as it can be really filling. Chai Iced tea and chai iced coffee were good. Will stop by again when shopping.

Small menu but the food is done very well!

The best pho in the Chicagoland area. If you are at or near Woodfield mall, do yourself a favor and please get a bowl. It really is much better than the $16 bowls of pho we get downtown. At $11 it's a steal, and it is filling and healthier than most of your other food court options. I could tell that the broth is made with care, it's very complex and flavorful. My husband and I both love the Bun Bo Hue Pho the best. It's heavenly.

The halal chicken Pho is delicious and packed with a generous amount of chicken, the shrimp pancake was delicious and the dipping sauce along side was perfect. The shrimp fried rice had larger pieces of shrimp and more than other places we've had it. The carryout ordering was super easy and our meal was packed nicely. I recommend the extra veggies and extra fried tofu as it is a really nice accompaniment to the chicken pho. The only small drawback is to be sure to order the pancake when you're dining in. The bottom gets soft when they pack it for carryout which can't be helped. It's still very delicious but prefer it there I'd still give it a 10!

The biggest letdown by far was the rice plate. For that price, I expected a decent portion and quality--but instead, I got 4 tiny pieces of beef short ribs that were almost entirely fat with barely any actual meat. It honestly felt more like eating pork belly than short ribs. It just felt like a total rip-off for what you get. I wouldn't recommend ordering that dish at all. The rest of the food was okay, but nothing that would make me want to come back, especially considering the price point. Service was slow. Had to ask for water refills. Restaurant is clean and spacious.

We ordered the same soup the small eye round steak Pho soup. They give you a little plate of garnish on the side there were bean sprouts, jalapeno slices, Basil on the stems, and limes. The restaurant is always comfortable not too hot not too cold. I highly recommend you come here and give it a try. I ordered the special pho (#19), which comes with thinly sliced rare steak, brisket, tendon, tripe, cilantro, and onions. I also got the BBQ pork banh mi. The pho was pretty solid. However, I was disappointed with the banh mi. It looked quite different from the menu photo, which, of course, I understand that menu items are created to look their best and don't always come out the same, but this sandwich ended up looking more like a carrot sandwich, and I'm not a fan of carrots. There was only a thin slice of BBQ pork, and the bread was too doughy. The proportions felt off overall, and it was honestly my least favorite banh mi I've tried. I took a bite and ended up giving the rest to a friend who took it home. If I'm in the area, I'd come back for the pho.

The inside is very clean and inviting, with cherry blossoms as a center point of deco, hardwood floors, plenty of booths..and of course a serving robot. The staff is super attentive. As for the pho, I tend to get the house special or rare beef. The meat, tendon, meetballs, tripe are fresh. Their broth is a little different from traditional but is definitely the star, I like it! Their soup spoons are basically ladles, and rightfully so. We love their Thai iced tea and every one of their "punches". They do have banh mi, lemongrass chicken , grilled pork chop, and more. I've never had the courage to try their sushi tacos, someone let me know what those are like. There is an area of opportunity. You charge for chili oil? Cmon dude. Also, three bowls of pho, three drinks and gratuity at around $87? The search continues…read more I still have not found "the one" I can rely on in the Chicagoland area. I say "Chicagoland" loosely, since it's only been 10 months since I've moved into the area, and I'm mainly trying to nail down a spot that I can rely on in northwest suburbs area. The thing is, there are plenty of decent Vietnamese restaurants. Maybe some above average. But I'm finding out that it's very difficult to find one that can give you the "wholeness," per se. Especially once you've had one and set the bar there. Mine happens to have come from an old, grumpy couple who have since retired and no longer serving their amazing home-style cooking. As for Pho Lover, my family ordered one pho and one pork chop. I opted to try the advertised "combo," which in retrospect I should have skipped. It's just a bowl of pho, a couple eggrolls and a pop for a couple bucks less. Considering I normally would not have ordered the eggrolls or a pop, I immediately regretted it. The option for pho was either the House Special pho or the rare steak pho. I asked to see if I can substitute rare steak with brisket only and they said it was fine. Only, I ended up with a rare steak version anyway. They apologized and I decided not to make a fuss out of it, even though I don't normally like the way rare steak become tough to chew once it's fully cooked in broth. It was no exception this time. Noodles were cooked fine. Perfectly average. Broth was fine. Perfectly average. All the usual toppings were on the skimpy side, which I didn't like. I asked for some extra onion and cilantro, but I never ended up getting them. The porkchop dish was very underwhelming. Meat still had strong boar taint, which to some is a feature, not a bug. Not for my family. Even besides the odor, everything was once again, perfectly average. I can't say I'll go back. Life is too short for average meals.

I ordered the pho with the beef tendon and it was a meh ok. I think it could have been a little more flavorful with their pho broth but it wasn't bland either. Needs more cinnamon. What's also unique was the fact that they kept their soup spoons and their regular spoons and chopsticks in this wooden box and then another peculiarity was you had to get the condiments of basil chili pepper bean sprouts and lime up in a tray versus for them to bring it to you. The line in the basil didn't seem that fresh which is why I was a little disappointed other than that it was okay. I don't know if I would come here more often but there are other places I tried that are Vietnamese in which the pho had more flavor and was better. I probably would come here for their dim sum

I do prefer my drinks cold. As for the banh mi sandwiches. I've tried the pork and steak. Personally, I wouldnt re purchase the pork because it wasn't as juicy as the steak.
