Placed an order from work ahead of time but asked if could pick up 40 minutes later when I got off work, they said that would be fine. When I arrived the girl at the front was pretty unfriendly and not welcoming at all. The food was actually quite awful, cold and greasy and the absolute worst crab Rangoon I have ever had. From the temperature I am guessing they made my food as soon as I ordered and had been sitting there for 40 minutes. The portion of pad Thai was tiny for the price. We had such a great time at Thai Garden! We ordered their thai iced tea, crab rangoon, beef pad thai, and beef pad see ew. Everything was delicious! In fact, this is the best beef we've ever had at a Thai restaurant. I only marked down one star because of the portion sizes. At other Thai restaurants we've received larger portions of each dish for similar prices. Regardless the meal was filling and fulfilling and we would definitely return! Asked if we can just eat it there in the restaurant since we have to wait for the order. The host and servers were very confused and did not know how to accommodate. After some discussing; host said we can be seated and she will bring our take out order to us and we can eat it. We even explained that it was ok, it didn't need to be plated, we can eat it from take out containers, but if we can get plates to eat. That seemed like a big inconvenience. A Server came to our table and seemed confused as well and said we cannot sit there if we aren't eating in, we said we are. It's just that we had already ordered food and were waiting for it. This place is so cute! My friend and I went today for early dinner and for appetizers we ordered crab rangoon which was very flavorful and a good size. I had lad nar with chicken and he had roast duck curry (could use a little bit more duck)- both pretty authentic. Today is not just about the restaurant. It's about an individual that works with the restaurant. PATTITA Is most amazing wonderful caring staff member of this restaurant. She sent me down made sure I had everything I needed checked up on me making sure if I need sauce napkins refill a great smile making sure the rest of the restaurant is clean . I don't think I have anything bad to say about Thai Garden. The food is gorgeous, the service is fast, and it's incredible portions and the cost is just right! If you go for lunch, you get a healthy portion for the right price. I love their Penang or their Basil Chicken. It's not bland and they can create all the spice you want, as little or as much as you like it HOT HOT HOT! Their white rice is not overly dry either. They're very fast, too! You're in and out in less than an hour for lunch, which is great because sometimes I need to get away and don't have all day. It's really a great and clean environment. I love coming here. read more

We were greeted at the front door and our waitress was delightful. We told her that we wanted spicy dishes and she recommend we get 3x the spice level. If you love spicy food, I highly recommend you try the curries with the highest spice level; it's creamy, mouthwatering delicious. We had the Pad Thai and the Panang Curry for our main dishes and the chicken satay as an appetizer. The Pad Thai was a bit too sweet for my liking but the satay came with an insanely delicious peanut sauce. We ended up ordering more of the peanut sauce to eat with our main dishes. I've had the fortune of ordering Thai Garden a few times during the pandemic. The food is just as delicious as it's always been, with similar portion sizes and reasonable prices. I'm in love with the beef satay, love the crab rangoon, and their green curry tops the "favorite dish" list of multiple friends of mine. I'm also a huge fan of their pad Thai. In terms of the staff, they are all nice and helpful, but I've never received (or expected) the 'typical American server' experience in an authentic restaurant. Staff has always been nice, but more reserved/introverted, versus the exuberant/extroverted typical American server. We have been frequenting this place for many years but this is the first time I am writing a review. Decided to go here for their lunch special as we like what we get for the amount we are paying. We have also done dinner many times as well as carryout. I do feel a small order of carryout with them is much better than larger order. Also, they get super busy Fri/Sat/Sun with carryout orders so I would definitely avoid it on those evenings. Our general preference is to go there and eat during their lunch special or for dinner. All their lunch specials are served with your choice of steamed rice or vegetable fried rice, vegetable Tom Yum soup (spicy) or vegetable Tofu soup (mild), and a regular Egg Roll or a vegetarian Egg Roll. Pad Thai Meals do not come with rice. Lunch Specials are served Monday thru Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. There is only indoor dining. Per rules, they are following all covid protocols. This time for the lunch special we decided to get: Spicy Chicken meal - this is super flavorful chicken cooked in spices, onion and celery. It comes with steamed or fried rice. We chose fried rice here. This curry has no coconut milk. You can choose how hot you would like your food - 1 hot or 2 hot. We chose 1 hot and it was perfect for the spice level we like. The second dish we got was Penang Tofu Meal. The tofu is lightly fried and has a good bite. There is also onions and bell pepper in a creamy coconut curry. Since there is coconut milk in this dish that can add a bit of sweetness, I chose 2 hot as the spice level and it was perfect. There is good quantity of food that you can finish in one sitting and/or take home depending on your appetite. Overall you can't go wrong with their lunch specials.
