The dinnerware they use is so cute, too, which is always a plus! My go-tos.. -bot chien: pan fried rice flour cake in egg omelet. A must try. The soy-based slightly sweet dipping sauce is highly addictive! -rice vermicelli bowls: always fresh & packed with all the wonderful herbs & fixings. Their grilled pork is my favorite. I love their nuoc cham fish sauce. -broken rice (com tam): my favorite thing from here. Their grilled pork chop with bone is incredible. C8 is the best with all the classic com tam sides. -Bun bo hue: I'm picky with my BBH since I'm certain my grandma makes the best version. But it's amazing here! The broth is so aromatic with the perfect kick to it.

Service was prompt, with food delivered shortly after ordering; however, the staff seemed unenthusiastic and unfriendly. Portions were generous; the Grilled Pork Sausage and Fresh Spring Rolls were freshly prepared and flavorful, with fresh cucumber adding crispness. The house specialty, Pho Dac Biet, was generously portioned and served hot; however, I could detect traces of MSG in the broth, which caused a lingering tingling sensation in my mouth, and I kept drinking water afterward. The sauce bottles on the table and the table itself were sticky, indicating a need for cleaning to enhance the overall dining experience.

There was also plenty of verbal reassurance from the proprietress to relax and take my time, to just have the appetizer and decide on the rest later .... I'd also never seen a place before that offered a full-sized serving of Pho broth! I ordered that. I had to try it. It was delicious and amazingly, still warm hours later when I was finally hungry (or maybe thirsty?) enough again to want it. The music was soothing, the atmosphere incredible, the décor interesting and beautiful. The service was astounding! A great place for every kind of health -- mental-emotional, physical, spiritual, all of it! Thank you so much, Lotus Pho and Grill! You provide a really great place with awesome nutrition for the body and soul .... Super-duper, highly recommended!

The broth was very bland, and the meat quality wasn't great (it even had an off smell). As of March 2026, it's priced at $15.50 per bowl with no size options, and the portion was quite small (more like a small at other places). Overall, it was disappointing. While eating, I even found myself questioning whether this was an authentic Vietnamese restaurant. I hope they make some improvements.
