This is a no-frills Vietnamese restaurant with the variety of menu options but the main staple being pho. You can get many different beef toppings in a small, large, or extra large bowl. They even offer chicken pho. The broth comes out piping hot and bursting with flavor! I didn't have to use hoisin or sriracha sauce in my bowl, although I do like to use them as a dip for my meats. If you're not feeling soupy, they do offer rice and vermicelli with grilled meat entrees too. I didn't see a whole lot of options for vegetarians though. The Vietnamese iced coffee barely filled the cup and the flavor was a bit lacking. I do recommend the coconut drink though! The service was ok as I don't really expect much from casual Vietnamese restaurants, to be honest. When we entered, a server asked how many from across the restaurant and pointed to a table, in which I sat in a ripped booth chair. He dropped off menus at the table, and come back shortly after to take our order. No one stopped by to see if we needed anything or how we were doing but it was fine. This place feels like Spirit Airline. It charges for everything like Hành dấm and extra sriracha. And their food presentation is so bad. Ordered egg roll, it came out on the plate with shredded cabbage. No lettuce or pickle to wrap it with. The service is not great either, the only time the staff speak with me was when they asked for my order. They don't say a word when bring out the food, when they delivered the food they just left it on the corner of the table instead of putting it in front of you and then left. When asked for the bill, didn't say anything again when he left the bill on table and left. The bill only has numbers, doesn't have the name of the food that I ordered, just number so i had to figured out how much for each item and the total that I owed. I had to walk to the cashier to pay, no talking from the cashier, he just took my card, charged, and told his peers to sit other people to the table that I just left. I went to the Yelp Elite event a Pollo Campero this year and never even realized that this gem of a Vietnamese Pho restaurant was right next door! We did try the summer rolls, as recommended by the Yelp reviews here, and although the ingredient were very fresh, and the portion was much larger than expected, I would say they were certainly above average, but nothing to write home about. I always go to this Vietnamese spot about twice a month. I just realized I haven't taken the time to check in and let others know how much I like going here to get my Pho. This place is super close to where I live, I can literally just walk but I always stop on my way home from work. Sometimes I have a rough day at work and I feel mentally drained and I know that a soup will make me feel better. I just noticed that the young waiters now know what I order lol and they know it's just me. I don't know why I always go there by myself(they probably think I don't have any friends lol) this is one of the few places that I enjoy just going alone and I don't know why.
