This place is special to us. It is an authentic Chinese restaurant that also offers American-Chinese favorites and even cheap sushi. Our kids love the American-Chinese items, which are fresher than most American-Chinese takeout/delivery restaurants with bigger portions and low prices. These come with more than enough to share. The sushi is not good, but it is cheap, so if you're after a basic roll like Cali or Philly, then you can get it cheap here. Considering this is a Chinese restaurant, it's nice that they offer sushi at all. They've got the basic American tastes covered: American-Chinese favorites and simple sushi. But if your tastes are beyond the basic American, you are in for one hell of a treat. Little Teriyaki's Chinese menu is HUGE, filled with authentic dishes that are bursting with unique flavors. When your mouth is tingling, almost numb, and you taste the nuanced spices and seasonings that dominate each dish, you've hit the jackpot. From the spicy lamb & vegetable soup (basically a hot pot in soup form, also available in beef) to the spicy lamb & cumin, from the pickled fish & vegetable soup (really strong flavors, excellent if you're not looking for something spicy) to the spicy chicken hot pot (served dry with a hot pot base sauce, also available in beef), there are so many delicious dishes to try on this menu. The employees know very little English, so refer to the numbers associated with the menu items. I think 35 is lamb & cumin, 36 is spicy lamb & vegetable soup. Those two alone will have you covered for the best, most flavorful meal you've had in a while. We love this place. If you want to try some authentic Chinese food, so will you.

My first experience with Pho Ever was a great one. I don't think bubble tea is the easiest to make, as I have had some forgettable drinks from other Asian-style restaurants. However, Pho Ever made one of my favorite bubble teas from Newark. The flavor was spot on and, my favorite part, the tapioca were just the right size and texture. Not too firm or rubbery. Next time, I am just going to ask for without ice because they did add a lot. Don't like my drinks to get too watered down. The service there was considerate and generous. I ordered a medium and was gifted a large instead. During this tough time, it seems their spirits were up. I was very impressed with the gentleman's manner was who served me. It was a different experience trying new foods. I did enjoy my pho noodle soup with grilled chicken. There were some flavors that I wasn't sure of, but overall I enjoyed my food. Ed was great as he was patient with me by helping me to order. I wasn't sure what I wanted other than soup. He explained the different menu items. Peter was great and helped entertain my little one. He talked to us and made us comfortable. What a great experience. I went to Big Z Pizza to get a slice of pizza and the Mayflower and New Number One Chinese and nobody interacted with us like Ed and Peter did! I love this place! The owner is so nice and the food is amazing. One time I went and the owner gave me a free large bubble tea just because. The restaurant itself is very clean. I have been to a few pho places in the area and found that cleanliness was an issue, but that is not a problem here. I've gotten the pho many times, but the beef broth is the best by far. I highly recommend the tofu vegetable rolls. There is a wide variety of food and I haven't tried anything I haven't liked so far. The service is excellent. read more

I very good staple for authentic Vietnamese food within the Newark area. Service was excellent, and the food was even better. I love the pho with beef, the broth makes a good treat within itself after you finish the noodles and toppings. Also has bubble tea and iced tea drinks, I prefer the taro bubble tea, scratches that bubble tea itch when I need it (which now is quite often). Does delivery service through several apps which makes it easy if you don't feel like going out to eat during COVID. Overall, 5/5. read more

I've been here many times with my family and it's always delicious! The food comes very quickly and we never wait more than 15 minutes. They are taking great precautions with COVID considerations and using all disposable containers and cutlery so I feel safe eating here compared to other restaurants.
