This was the second time I've ordered from this restaurant and they did not disappoint! Pad Thai has been my guilty pleasure for quite some time and this place has some of the best I've had. I got their chicken pad Thai which was cooked to perfection-flavorful noodles, tender juicy chicken chunks of chicken, and they even threw in a few pieces of seasoned tofu which is a nice addition. If you get the lunch special, it includes either a spring roll and salad or a chicken dumpling and salad. *Tip: if you want a slightly larger portion of salad, ask them to pack it separately and put the salad dressing you choose on the side. The peanut salad dressing is insanely good, but the other choices are pretty delicious as well. They'll ask you what spice level you prefer: none, mild, medium, hot or very hot (level 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5). The first time I ordered from here I got the chicken fried rice and trust me, they do elevate this dish. The picture I included doesn't even do it justice. It's not overly oily, it's light and airy and flavorful with the right amount of everything in it. I plan to try nearly everything on their menu. Go get you some and show this small neighborhood spot some love! They're great for take out but there's also seating outside and inside the restaurant. The workers were all very nice and placing an order online was quick and painless They were unfortunately out of most wing flavors when we ordered so we had to settle for some more traditional flavors. This spot has the BEST wings in Wilmington. Cooked to perfection, the meat falls off the bone easily, and the sauces are amazing and unique, with options you will not see at other wing stores. This place is an unassuming hole in the wall. I ordered the pad thai with chicken. It was very good, full of flavor and a decent portion and decent amount of meat too. I do have to warn you though. I just had an absolutely wonderful meal at a tiny Thai restaurant across from the VA Hospital at 1700 Kirkwood Highway, called Wings and Thai Station. They are open from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm Tuesday through Friday, and from 12:00 to 9:00 on Saturday and Sunday. They are closed on Monday. They have a small eat in capacity (I would guess 40 seats) but they do take reservations. Mostly they are takeout or catering. For a party of over 70 people they will send their food truck and cook anything on the menu for your guests. They are very inexpensive. I had 8 large crunchy shrimp over a delicious small salad with the most amazing sauce, ($22.) and I brought 3 shrimp home. We had a wonderful appetizer that they made for us, that was 2 rolled cylinders and 2 little dumplings with a sauce that was amazing. Maybe you would enjoy this little jewel. read more

The wings were crispy and tasty with many different flavors to pick from. We got the Spicy Korean and the Sweet Thai Chili. The Pad Thai was excellent - flavors on point, good quantity for the price, and lots of fresh ingredients. And discerning palate daughter approved. The Tom Yum Chicken soup was delicious and again fresh ingredients with tender chicken. You choose your spice level. The Penang curry chicken was quite creamy and mouth-watering with very tender, moist chicken. I took off 1 star for the limited seating and no restroom. This is definitely more of a takeout place. The Tom Yum soup is delicious and spicy - the Pad Thai is excellent- my wife and I enjoyed it. My only knock is that your bill can add up quickly. For two people we hit around $60 each visit. The manager, Lick, was so attentive to making sure we had the best meal, and that our food was exceptional . Thank you fellow Yelpers you did not steer me wrong. I stopped by on a Tuesday night after craving Thai food yesterday when most places (including this one) are closed... So tonight I got my wish. I did not try their wings I went for a Thai noodle dish "Pad see ew". I am very familiar with the dish and have usually gotten it from Ubon at the riverfront. However, the past few years Ubon has made that dish very oily or dry. Here at Wings and Tha Station they do it right!! The noodles are cooked perfectly not mushy and not dry the veggies are fresh not mushy or too hard and the shrimp are big and juicy and everything is covered in the sauce that is so yummy but yet just a light glaze, not overly saturated. ... We drove by this place while shopping at BJ's so we thought we'd give them a try. Their wings were phenomenal, we got the 10pc combo with the Spicy Korean & Sweet Thai Chili sauces. They were perfectly sauced so we didn't need to use the dip provided. The fries were CRISPY, like perfectly fried crispy. I was so happy to see this place pop up near me. I am always craving wings but my partner eats mostly vegetarian. I got the 10 piece with the Korean and mango habanero sauces.
