Perfect when you are looking for that bowl of hot noodle soup to warm your soul!! Interesting location being right next to a strip club... that was a little hard to explain to the kids lol. However, we didn't let that deter us. Small store with around 6 tables and counter seating. Friendly and efficient staff. Food came out quick, fresh, and tasty. We would recommend!

In a city packed with heavy barbeque and grilled food, my family wanted to get some lighter Asian food for dinner, which brought us to Pho Express. There were several Asian families eating in the restaurant: not wanting to assume, but it was an indicator that the food there must be pretty genuine and good. And indeed it was. We got a small plain beef pho (Pho Khong P6), a large spicy beef pork pho (Bun Bo Hue), and a pork slices & fried egg platte. Don't be misled by the sizes for the pho (Small, Large, and XLarge), cause a "small" bowl was filling for a relatively light eater, and a large bowl was more than enough for a big eater like me. Can't imagine having the XL bowl (unless you're really craving). All of the dishes were amazing. First of all, the smell in the restaurant had our stomachs growling already. And the first taste totally got us. The broth was flavorful, the spices were perfect, and the meat had great texture and came in abundant amounts. I will say I wasn't a fan of the noodles cause they were a bit too firm and broke easily, but that was only a minor inconvenience. The rice platte was good too, with juicy pork seasoned to just the right amount. A crisp fried egg and steamy white rice were great supplements to it. We finished our meal in no time. I forgot to mention the spring rolls - definitely get them! We ordered grilled pork rolls, and they were great appetizers for us. Overall, a fantastic meal for anyone who likes Vietnamese food and seeking a warm bowl of soupy pho. Conveniently good for young people seeking fun next door after a full stomach. TLDR: Authentic Vietnamese food for anyone with a craving. Plain Beef Pho: 7.5/10 Spicy Beef Pork Pho: 8.5/10 Pork Slices Platte: 8/10 Grilled Pork Spring Rolls: 8/10

The place is right next to a gentleman's club which I thought was funny. The space inside is okay, not ideal for a big group of family, there was 15 of us so we used up 3 separate tables. The spicy pho was really good (second time trying pho In my life) so I really can't compare to anything else. The spicy level was not that high maybe a 6/10. The overall rating for the pho was 8/10. The spring rolls were good give them a 7.5/10 My spicy mango boba was alright, I've had better boba unfortunately. The drink itself was not spicy maybe they forgot to add all the things it described in the menu.

I feel like all the best pho places are in the oddest locations- this one is right next to the strip club, but I promise you, if you have time, check it out. Cons- service is slow, inside dining is small. So go when it's not at peak times, if you can. Pho is spot on, though! We also got the short ribs which were awesome as well! There is seating outside, too.

This restaurant is located next to a gentlemen's club with friendly service. I'm Vietnamese and eat pho a few times a month and have had some not so great ones. However, this place takes the cake for worst pho I've ever had. We were vacationing in the area a few weeks back and ordered pho for my daughters who love pho. Their pho was weirdly sweet and did not have any pho flavor. Maybe too much MSG? Whatever it was, my daughters ended up not eating this after a taste and it ended up in the trash. I ordered the bun bo hue for myself and it too was bad. It did not have the elements necessary to be able to call it BBH. There were no shank meat, no pig's feet, nor cubed pig's blood...none of that. Further, the essence of BBH is the smell of lemongrass in the broth. That too was lacking.

So very cute when you walk up- lots of plants which sets it apart from most PCB eateries right away. Very welcoming when we walked in. We had eaten at the previous location and this location is what this place was meant to be. Very warm and inviting. Staff was friendly. We ordered tofu spring rolls, veggie pho, and the beef and lemongrass pho. Everything was delicious! I've never had tofu spring rolls but I love them! If you're a fan of tofu, try them. The peanut sauce is very good! He loved his beef and lemongrass pho- he didn't season it much, maybe a couple of jalapeño slices. He was too busy slurping as was I. My veggie pho came with the fried tofu on the side, which was a nice touch. The broth was incredible! The seasoning was perfect- I'm not a big salt gal and I don't like when it's used to replace flavors, but I could taste vegetables in the broth, so I was all in. Good veggie to noodle ratio and while I didn't add any lime to it, I used plenty of those jalapeños as well as cilantro and the mung bean sprouts for that crunch. All in all, easily the best pho on the beach! I can see why almost every table was full by the time we left (and people outside were waiting for our parking spot). Glad this place is closer now.

Bun Bo hue, pho, banh mi, and spring rolls were incredible. It's hard to find good Vietnamese when traveling. This place is a gem.

We left very happy and decided to come back again. Unfortunately, our second visit was a big disappointment. When we walked in around 4:30 PM, the sign at the door clearly mentioned Happy Hour from 2-5 PM. We ordered margaritas expecting the Happy Hour pricing, but we were charged full price. Even worse, the margarita tasted more like lemonade than an actual margarita there was barely any alcohol in it. I mentioned it to our waiter, and after speaking with the bartender, the response was basically that I could pay extra to add more alcohol. That's not acceptable for a $9+ drink that I couldn't even finish and left untouched on the table. Another issue was that our waiter didn't seem very knowledgeable about the menu and instead kept steering us toward more expensive options. I mentioned that I liked the crab cake, and instead of suggesting the Seafood Basket that already included great options, he recommended creating a "two-choice seafood" plate at essentially the same base price then added an extra $3 charge for the crab cake, making the meal unnecessarily more expensive. It's disappointing because we genuinely enjoyed our first experience there, but after the second visit, I don't think we'll be returning.

While waiting, we sat at the bar. I ordered a Paloma. It was tasty and the presentation was nice. However, we saw a cockroach in the straw container on the bar. We told the bar tender and she threw half the straws away. We told her she needed to toss all of them and she did. I couldn't finish my drink after that. The wait was very long. On the phone they told us it would be 20-30 minutes. It was 2 hours. They told us the reason was because another table was overstaying, which didn't make a lot of sense. Our waitress was rude. She was annoyed we wanted separate checks and was very curt. All of us were put off by her attitude. For appetizers, we got the edamame hummus, edamame, Brussels sprouts, and shrimp lettuce wraps. The edamame hummus was weird. It didn't have a ton of flavor and the wasabi peas and ginger on top were just strange. The Brussels sprouts and shrimp wraps were good. The shrimp wrap was probably our favorite app. For my entree, I got Sandor's ravioli. It was good, but not hot. The ravioli was handmade and very cheesy. The fish was perfectly blackened. Unfortunately our bride's steak was undercooked and she didn't want to send it back after the long wait and waitress attitude. I got the key lime pie to go and it took forever to get it. We had to ask another server to get it. It was amazing, but not worth the hold up after an already negative experience. We let the manager know about our experience and while they were very apologetic and offered us a discount, our experience was what it was and we had already paid. I appreciate their acknowledgment and offer to make it right.

Staff were super friendly and didn't keep us waiting. Inside seating is rather limited, but they do make up for that with what I'd say is a larger proportion outdoor seating. The tables and seating outside tho are done well and not like cheap patio furniture. The food; so there are a few other sushi/ Asian fusion places in the area but this one is a Strong contender!! The rolls were excellent if you would rather have the more traditional Nigiri or Sashimi they have those options as well. We had the spicy salmon and Mahi machi rolls and they were so delicious that we ordered another round!! Which brings me to the last item as we were too full to try any desert a friend and I did opt for the Wagyu tallow inspired old fashioned. While it was good it just seems to taste like the other original we had ordered.
