    Sandores ravioli

The Bay deserves all the hype. We ordered the Hot Mess Roll, Sandores Ravioli, John the Second Roll, and the Kelly Roll, and every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The sushi rolls had the perfect balance of ingredients and were packed with flavor, while the ravioli was rich and unique. The atmosphere is what really sets this place apart. The view of the bay is absolutely incredible and makes the whole experience feel special. Whether you're there for sushi, dinner, or just drinks by the water, it's the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the scenery. Great food, great service, and one of the best waterfront views around. Easily a 5-star experience, and we'll definitely be back.

Strong menu, cool vibe... The Bay has a great location (on the bay, in case you're wondering) and is setup well to enjoy the beauty of the waterfront. Big and small fire pits and chairs on the sand for those who want that, as well as a big open-air deck with a lot of tables. It's hard not to have a good experience in this setting. Seafood and sushi are their main offerings, though there are several steaks and other plates that will serve the non-fish people well. They've got a number of great looking apps, so you have variety for sure. We tried the trio of dips with cucumber and pita bread. I wish one of them hit it out of the park, but none did. The smoked feta was way smoked and too rich, while the guac option and the edamame option were nothing special. We'll try something else next time. The steak salad came was over-dressed... give the patron the dressing on the side to let them choose the right amount. The ravioli special came with two large pieces of grouper and, while slightly over cooked, contributed to dish with a lot of different tastes that went well together. In terms of drinks, the only NA offering is one Athletic lager ... please lean in on that and bring some more creativity to the NA cocktail and NA beer list. All said, though, it was a good meal and we'll come back with visitors to the area to share the place with others.

WOW! This was one of the best meals I've had on this vacation. I will be talking about the Point Washington Rolls (gator spring roll) for a LONG time - this is a MUST if you eat at The Bay. It's hard to do Brussels well and they were cooked great (crispy but not burnt) with a yummy sauce. Jonathan had the ravioli ... AMAZING. they make it fresh every morning and you can tell with the taste and quality. It was a nice portion as it was accompanied by a fish (I think grouper). I had the Jon the 2nd roll and it was a great size and taste. Our friends had the Russell mania roll and did not like theirs, but loved mine). The crunch on top added a nice layer! Service was great when he was available - we could tell he was tasked with too many tables/things but he was always on the move and very attentive. We sat on the back lower deck and the ambiance and view were beautiful overlooking the water. I would 1000x recommend this place and we will definitely be back!

The bay in Santa Rosa beach offers a great vibe for families and adults. With plenty of indoor and outdoor seating we had no issues getting a table with no reservation. The food was delicious and service was great. Definitely a place I would recommend to for future dine in services.

Stopped in for lunch. Sat outback on patio. Large fans blowing helped with the heat.Wonderful view. Ethan was our server he did a great job we never went without anything. I had blackened shrimp with side salad and green beans. The green beans were a little crunchy. My husband asked for snapper sandwich they didn't have snapper so he got grouper with sweet potato chips. Our food was 5/5 stars very delicious! I had a margarita and him a 30A. 100.00 lunch but food was fresh service was good.

Amazing food and fantastic service. Was absolutely incredible. The desert was amazing, sushi perfect, and we both enjoyed our entrees. Beautiful ocean view and great staff, casual atmosphere for the incredible food. Andrew was a fantastic server, wouldn't have tried half the stuff we did if it weren't for his help.

The patio is perfect even during the winter season , the patio stays warm even during the rain and cold. The patio is also dog friendly which we loved and used . My dad loved the key lime pie . My mom loved her sushi. Service was great.

This is a great place to visit when in the Fort Walton area. The venue itself is wonderful, open, and inviting! The servers definitely know their menu and they can offer great choices according to what you like. You've got to check this place out!

5/5- If you like this review give it a like!! I can't say enough good things about The Bay! The setting alone is worth the visit -- waterfront views, laid-back vibe, and that perfect mix of classy and casual. But let's talk about the food. The grouper ravioli was absolutely outstanding. Rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced -- you can really taste the freshness of the fish. The sauce complemented it without overpowering, and every bite was a hit. And for dessert? Key lime pie that's hands-down one of the best I've had. Tart, creamy, and just the right amount of sweetness with a buttery graham cracker crust that melts in your mouth. If you're anywhere near the area, The Bay is a must. Food, atmosphere, and service all top-notch.

    "mahi mahi"
    Dora S.

Came here for a bach trip dinner and had really high hopes. There was a 45 minute wait and we went outside and took photos. The views are STUNNING. after we got our table, we ordered really quick and it took forever for us to get our food. Our food arrived at different times. The seafood was disappointing. The mahi mahi and snapper was rubbery and extremely overcooked, uneatable. It was sad! When we told our server the mahi mahi was dry, he said he can get another one brought out really quick. He brought it out in 10minutes and it was again, very dry and burnt. When we gave him our honest opinion, he told us "well, i don't know what to tell you. the mahi mahi is frozen and i just gave you a snapper". He served a completely different fish and did not inform us. What if we were allergic? The hospitality was not great. I understand he does not have control over how fish was cooked but the way he handled the situation was not it. We will not be back.

Pecan Jacks is a busy ice cream store in the heart of Santa Rosa Beach. I visited a few times during early/mid-April and it was booming whether midday or early evening. They have lots of ice cream flavors including flavors that are dairy-free and flavors that are boozy. I tried the Elvis (chocolate, peanut butter, marshmallow and banana), coffee/mocha and Reese's. All were tasty and very creamy. When you put it in a glass bowl the cream sticks to the sides - that is how you know it's good stuff. Dense, little water, and no air whipped in. A scoop is $7, two scoops is $9 and a pint is around $13. I haven't quite figured out how many scoops are in a pint but I know you get to skip the long, slow line. We finally wised up and bought pints but we also only had a short distance to travel home. Overall a good but definitely busy ice cream store. Based on the quality of the product, I'd be happy to return, daily.

The dumplings stole the show. Perfectly done, packed with flavor, and the kind you keep thinking about long after you leave. Everything else backed them up beautifully--the Dragon Fruit Margarita, the Green Tea Boba, and the Num-Num Shrimp Buns were all on point. What made it even better was the experience itself, including a great conversation with Whitley, the owner. We've tried many of the most recommended spots along 30A, and without a doubt, this was our favorite food experience.

Cool little spot, located directly across the street from the town center area, on the beach side. Simple, small menu, which in this case is exactly the right move. It's clearly intentional, because the quality and flavor of everything we tried was next level. We ordered the wings, chicken fried rice, brisket buns, brussels sprouts, dumplings and thanks to meeting Whitley, one of the founders, we also got to try the Bang Bang Shrimp. Honestly, I don't know if we just showed up at the perfect time or he's just a very present owner (probably both), but he came out, we started chatting, and it turned into him sitting with us for a bit. Such an approachable, genuinely kind person. He somehow turned our very introverted group into a bunch of chatterboxes. That alone made the experience unforgettable, and now I can't imagine coming back to Seaside without stopping here. Wishing him much success, clearly a passionate owner. And... Not me writing a review right now, I usually don't, but this one deserved it. So, let's talk food: Wings: Absolutely delicious. Only complaint... sticky fingers Dumplings: The best I've ever had, no exaggeration. Meaty, flavorful, and that sauce? Wow. Chicken Fried Rice: My picky eater daughter stole half, which says everything. Next time I'm getting it with shrimp on top, no question. Big-Back this one, trust me, GET THE SHRIMP ON TOP. Brisket Cheese Buns: My health-conscious mother-in-law couldn't stop eating it... and it wasn't even hers . Brussels Sprouts: I hate Brussels sprouts. Or at least I thought I did. Something happened in that kitchen because I actually loved these. Still processing that one; perhaps a glitch in The Matrix Bang Bang Shrimp: So good it'll make you want to turn into Plankton and steal the recipe. Fair warning, there's a kick to it. Yeah... safe to say I'll be back

BLUF: Neat building, ok food, bar out back looks like a good time…read more I love the building that Cowgirl Kitchen is located in. It reminds me of a mid-century diner or service station that you would have seen on historic Route 66. While indeed a mid-century building dating back to the 1950s, it was originally a cottage in Seagrove Beach. I love that the owners had the historic cottage relocated when it was threatened by a new subdivision being built in Seagrove. The logistics at Cowgirl Kitchen are that you order inside and then a server will bring the food out to you. We choose to sit on the front patio for a serene environment but I can tell the people out back at Boxcar Annie's were having a great time enjoy live music and cocktails. For food we had a round of grouper sandwiches and a side of chips. My sandwich was good. My sister's was undercooked - pink and jelly-like at the thickest portion. I am sure the staff would have been glad to remedy the situation but we frankly didn't feel like waiting in line at the counter again and then waiting for them to put the fish back on the flattop, or however its cooked. She ate around the undercooked part and we moved on with our day. Another thing that is nice about Cowgirl Kitchen is that it's right net to "The Stalls of 30A" - a unique and fun shopping experience. I always appreciate when I can eat, drink and shop and not have to move the car!
