First time customer. This place was recommended by friend. We ordered 'to go'. Food was not ready at the time promised; we had to wait 45 minutes past the time we were told to pick it up. I would have cancelled, but we paid when we placed the order and I was also looking forward to giving their food a try. Not worth the wait, and not worth the money. I also noted that between the time I arrived and the time I finally got my food (45 minutes) - no one had cleaned off any of the dirty dishes or drinkware from the empty bar area. I finally got to try this place when I was in town earlier this week. I've heard non stop from my friends in Omaha that I should try the best pho in Lincoln! So I was excited! When I first entered I was greeted by Dylan who ended up being my server. He was very nice and helpful. He seemed to have been quite familiar with the menu, which is a great thing. I also liked how the restaurant was decorated. But it was just slightly TOO DARK for me in there, even when I went in the middle of the day for lunch. I don't know if it was where they sat me, but it was a bit too dark for me. Now let's talk about the food. How can I come here without ordering the pho? I got an order of egg rolls and a small bowl of pho which was actually plenty! My egg rolls were fried to perfection, however the filling inside was very skimpy on meat and was missing a little more salt. But! With the nc mm that they provide, dipping your egg roll in that balances it out. I can go without the egg rolls next time. The pho was tasty. I appreciated the ABUNDANT amount of side herbs and beansprouts that came with each plate. The herbs are also the ones that SHOULD come out with typical pho. I was super happy and that way you can dress up your pho the way you want. The broth was quite satisfying. It's definitely one of the better phos I've had in the state of Nebraska. The price was not bad which is why I recommend it. The meat in it was actually really good! I got rare steak, brisket and the meatballs. The rare steak tasted bomb! Was so tender and not at all chewy. The way it should be! It's definitely tasty, not quite sure if it hits my favorites list YET but I can see myself coming back and trying more. I saw that they had hot pot and vegetarian fish balls with the hot pot and I got excited. I was sorely mistaken. The supposed vegetarian hot pot was cubed tofu and book choy floating in water. When I asked the server where the vegetarian fish balls were he asked the kitchen and they said they had stopped doing that but had not removed it from the menu. So I paid $14 for plain tofu and non choy floating in plain water. They did not refund me and my partner told me his beef stir fry only had five small pieces of beef, stale rice, and a plain tomato slice. I'd recommend going anywhere else. read more

The food can't be argued: it's suuuper good and pretty consistent from my experience. But i cant in good conscience give this place five stars when prices have just as consistently been increasing for their food over the years. A dish i remember having been around 11 dollars wheni first ordered it, is now almost 20 at roughly 18$. That's more than twice what it used to be, for what's really just a shrimp salad with a side of rice. Maybe they didn't anticipate certain costs of upkeep for their business and are learning as they go(plus covid probably didn't help things), but it's disheartening to see from the consumer side of things. Wowie the pho here really hit the spot! Love how they let you customize what goes into your pho - I got just tendon. The prices here are the cheapest I've seen in Nebraska - a medium goes for $7.95 and was super filling. The broth was rich, beefy and did not taste oily at all. It was the first time I hardly used any hoisin sauce because the broth was just that good. Everything was on point. And the big plate of fresh bean sprouts was the cherry on top (probably helps that they're right next door to a Vietnamese grocery store). I also shared a plate of the tamarind wings ($5.95). A tad oily, but nice and crispy. However, these were the smallest wings I've ever seen - my friend pointed out that at least you know they're real and not full of growth hormones haha. Pho Factory has now replaced Vung Tau Deli down the block as my go to pho place in Lincoln. Cheap, clean and fast. What else can you ask for? Plus parking is a breeze and Banhwich is just a few doors down for something sweet afterwards. At the cashier counter, they have the different sizes of pho on display. I noticed there was a fourth super large bowl and when I asked about it, they told me that it was their challenge bowl ($45). Must be a new thing/not common to try because the two guys were questioning each other about how much noodles and meat it comes with (either 2 or 3 lbs each) and how long you had to finish it. I highly recommend this restaurant. My fiancé & I had ordered carry out, after seeing my roommate eating carry out pho from this restaurant. We got there & our food was ready on time. Nice restaurant. Like the ambiance. Have not eaten here in quite some time. Pre Covid. Decided to go back to order pho. I had the flank steak and brisket pho medium. There was ample meat. The ratio of broth and noodles was good also. Taste wise, it was spot on. Garnishments were fresh. My only issue was that the caps to the sriracha and hoisin sauce were caked with dried product. Kind of gross. Not sure if they refrigerate their sauces overnight. Easy to fix by just keeping the caps clean every time the table is bused. Love this place! I love that I can make my own combo pho, and they actually offer tendon and tripe, which is rare around these parts. Pho is served with lime, peppers, cilantro, basil, and sprouts, and a small bowl is more than enough to completely fill me up. I always get pho when I go, but I've seen people eating things other than pho which look really tasty and fresh as well. I'm getting hungry just talking about it. I've eaten pho in larger cities such as Houston, San Antonio, and Sacramento, and I would say the pho here is comparable, although I've found everyone has different preferences when it comes to pho (maybe some would find the broth here not as deep and meaty tasting, but I like cleaner and lighter tasting broths). The place is clean and more upscale inside, so it's definitely not your typical hole in the wall. Who would've thought Lincoln would handily beat Omaha on the Vietnamese food scene? read more

I did not expect pho this amazing in Nebraska. Granted, I'm from Ohio, so it's notuch of a stretch, but the best pho I ever had was in DC. Until tonight. This pho was fresh. The spices were right on. There was no absurd amount of bean sprouts. Maybe could have used a little more jalapeno, but not a complaint. Also got spring rolls, which had a heavenly finish of mint. Because I work in Lincoln, I find myself dining here frequently for lunch. My first experience at Pho Factory was lackluster because of the greasy pho broth, but perhaps they just had a bad day. I haven't had a problem with the broth since. It's been tasty and consistent every time. I have also tried a few other dishes. Their bun bo hue is delicious. I went through a phase when I ate it every week for a month. I have to admit that it's as good as my mother's, though I am sorry that they do not include the pig's blood cake pieces. This noodle and broth dish always comes with ample meat. I often have to tell them "less meat." Their plate of veggies and herbs is always fresh. The grilled pork and vermicelli noodle salad is also tasty-- the best you'll find anywhere. The portion is perfect. They serve it with fried egg rolls as well and it's delicious. Amazing pho and great experience here! This is the second place I've tried for Pho in Lincoln, and I think it is now my favorite. The broth was so flavorful and the spicy beef pho had a wonderful kick. I wasn't even adding more siracha or chili paste, which I often do. They let you customize your pho with the meat(s) of your choice to include brisket, tripe, rare steak, flank steak, tendon and meatball. I'm not sure I could ever do rare steak, but to each their own. We opted for brisket and flank steak and both were great. The meat was tender and juicy. They serve you a ton of amazing pho here for an extremely reasonable price. I opted for a medium and had another meal for leftovers, so a large bowl must be at least three meals. The pho was plentiful with TONS of meat and rice noodles-no skimping here. You get more than what you pay for. The pho was served complete with your usual garnishes-sprouts, lime, jalapeño, basil and cilantro leaves. Our waiter was very nice, able to explain things on the menu, sizes and wished us a good day. Atmosphere was clean and well decorated, even a bit more upscale than you would expect from the outside with it being in the center of a strip mall. Highly recommend coming here for a great lunch or dinner date. Our tab was around $20 for two amazing bowls of pho! We probably could have finished a small, but a dollar more for more pho is worth it! The dinner menu has some interesting hot pot and clay pot dishes I may have to explore. read more

One in the group was not familiar with Vietnamese food so we and our waiter explained Pho and the other Vietnamese foods that they had to offer. I ordered pho with rare beef, I know, it's 98 outside and who would want soup. But I'm the type of guy that will say "do you want to go out for ice cream when it's 2 below outside. One of the group ordered Bun (noodles) tofu. While the newbie went for a couple of appetizers to give things a whirl. Goi Cuon was ordered as appetizers. I have to stick up for this place. I don't quite agree with the three star reviews. Over the last 10 years I've had hundreds of bowls of Pho. Admittingly, the best Pho I've had wasn't in any restaurant. My X's mom used to stuff me with it; and it was always better than what I found in any restaurant. But I'm thankful there's an option like this in Lincoln. Obviously, these restaurants are more abundant in other parts of the country. For example, if you trip in Seattle you're likely to fall into a bowl of Pho. Anywho... Pho Factory offers different varieties of the stew, build your own by adding steak, flank, fatty brisket, tendon, tripe, or meat balls. Garnished with green onions, white onions, Thai basil, Thai chili, chili peppers, lime wedges, bean sprouts, cilantro. Da broth is fine. There's a reason why every restaurant like this has sriracha, hoisin and soy sauce on the table. But just glancing at the menus you can see the place has quite a variety. My favorite dish is the vermicelli bowel. Your choice of protein with vermicelli noodles, crisp lettuce, fresh herbs, bean sprouts, cucumbers, and pickled daikon/carrots all topped with roasted peanuts and a side of lime chili fish sauce. It's fresh, healthy, and delicious. Really a great post-workout meal. Spring rolls are huge, tamarind wings are crispy and caramelized on the outside and juicy on the inside. Really great place! I visited after being introduced to homemade Vietnamese food from my boss. The pho was great! I can be rather picky with my garnishments in the pho, it was nice because a side plate of limes, jalapeños, Chinese roots, and other items. To start off, we ordered one order of the spring rolls, which is two larger rolls and the peanut sauce. Great too! My boyfriend loves spring rolls and mentioned he could eat three orders of those alone. I ordered a medium pho bowl with the meatballs. My boyfriend ordered a large spicy pho bowl. One word of advice, listen to fellow Yelpers on this! The bowls are HUGE. I thought I would be able to eat my full medium, I walked out with over half my bowl in a take-out container. The service was good, even though they looked to be a little short staffed. The ambiance is great and modern, lovely place! As I said, this was my first restaurant experience of pho and it was great!
