I compared pho places reviews around the city and so glad I went with pho family. I order P1 and A2. The broth was clean and the meat was fresh. I didn't need to add any sauce to the broth. It was that good. The salad roll was delicious too. Service was ok. I didn't eat there so I can't really share my thoughts about the overall service. I got my order and left. Mixed feelings on the food. The Pho was excellent and the best value that I have found in the Vancouver area. Most large Pho bowls are priced at around $16 and the bowl that I had for lunch today was $14.95. The side plate of bean sprouts, fresh basil and jalapeño was also about double the size of the other restaurants that I have visited. The broth was clear, flavorful and fresh tasting and the rice noodles perfectly blanched. I ordered a bbq pork Bahn Mi that unfortunately was the the worst Bahn Mi that I have had and I'm a big Bahn Mi fan. The sandwich was mostly bread with very little filling or bbq pork flavor. Barely any of the pickled daikon, carrots, cucumber cilantro mix. The sandwich was poorly executed for such a signature Vietnamese item. I would recommend the Pho but pass on their Bahn Mi. A family member is in the Hospital nearby and I really wanted some comfort food and this little restaurant hit the spot. I was immediately greeted by the server and took a seat. She quickly brought me water and a menu. I ordered the vegetarian salad rolls and Pho Chay. Both were delicious and hit the spot. We visiting OR and heading back to Seattle. Searched for an Asian restaurant nearby and came upon this spot. Wanted to give a try and support local business. Walked in was on my husband and I. We placed our order: Bun Bo hue- so good Bun Thit nuong and chả giò - was delicious Vietnamese Ice coffee- had a hint of mocha- ok Soda xi mũi with kumquat- love this refreshing drink! I had eaten at the pho restaurant that was here before and it was okay. (Pre pandemic tho). I stopped in to get some food to go since I was driving by and saw it had changed to a different name. The interior looks nicer than before. Cleaner and more tidy. I ordered the special pho and salad roll. My partner got the vermicelli noodle bowl with chicken and crispy rolls. The broth on the pho was clear and delicious, the tendon and tripe were tender, and they gave us chili oil without having to ask (a very nice surprise). It's also on the tables in store, and it's a very flavorful chili paste/oil. The salad rolls were crisp with tender rice paper and the shrimp tasted fresh. The peanut sauce was a bit sweet for my taste but was good. I was unable to get photos of my partner's food because he ate it really fast, but he really liked the crispy rolls and found that they were crispy and flavorful without being greasy. He liked the lemongrass chicken vermicelli and said that the vegetables in the noodle dish were crisp as well. I highly recommend this place. Great pho place! Ordered pho special, Bahmi chicken sandwhich and hot tea. Everything was delicious and I was particularly impressed with the broth. I will definitely be coming back with my husband. I grew up eating homemade Vietnamese food, so whenever I go to Vietnamese restaurants I am always super critical. That being said, this is by far the best Vietnamese food I have ever had at a restaurant! I came here 5 times in the span of 2 weeks while I was visiting Vancouver. The food here is so fresh, reasonably priced and everything is bursting with flavor. New Pho place in town!! It's used to be Pho Ton 4 and now the new owner takes over with a much better quality. The menu includes a lot of different options and they all look delicious. I had Phở and it was surprisingly good. The broth was clear and extremely palatable. I didn't even need to add any hoisin or siracha. It came with bean sprouts, jalapeño, lime, basil and culantro (the long green leaf with good favor). Even the chili oil was so tasty and little different than any other restaurants. The price was more reasonable and affordable. It only costed $13.50 for a large bowl and $11.95 for a small one. The location may be little hard to find but this place definitely worth to try! read more

We randomly stopped in last week with some friends from out of town because it was the closest place near us. My friend's wife wanted pho so we thought we'd give this place a try. The restaurant is so small, feels very tight and the tables are so close together. We stopped in early afternoon and there were 4 empty tables when we arrived. Service was not so great and could use some improvement. The waitress seated us but took forever to bring us waters and menus. She took even longer to come take our order. She literally was running/hopping to certain tables to bring them their check and take their payment. It was so weird. Not sure when she thought running/hopping was appropriate in such a small space. Food was not bad. We all ordered pho and the broth tasted good, not too bland and not too salty. I've been living in this area for over 10 years and just stumbled across this restaurant in the last couple of weeks. The food and service in this restaurant is authentic, fresh and absolutely delicious. I've been there 5 times in the last two weeks and tried multiple dishes. Very consistent across the board. We hadn't been out for Pho for quite a while, so I sorted on Yelp, as is my custom, for the highest-rated Pho in Vancouver. It came up as Pho Family, and it's only about a mile from the house, so we went over. My wife had a Banh Mi (sandwich) and I went with the Bun Bo Hue (specialty beef soup). Both were very good, and the soup serving was large. I noticed they had a smaller size on the regular soup menu, but I went for it and I did eat every bit of it.
