I'm going to be honest, this location under its different names has not done well in my opinion. It was previously under a different name (Pho 777) and had similar issues. Today my partner and I went in for lunch. There was a table ahead of of of four people who had not ordered or gotten drinks yet, and a table in the middle of eating, and us. It took 17 minutes before he took our order. To his credit, he was the only person working up front, but he seemed more focused on the kitchen and doing to go orders, which is okay, but still, not great. I've tried three times in the past 4-5 months to go in for a raw beef salad dish they have. EVERY time they tell me there is SOME reason they can't make it "this time" but that they "normally have it." Every time. So today yet again, I was told they "normally have it" but it "takes a while to make" and wouldn't have any today. Okay, bummer (btw, it doesn't take a significant amount of time to make, it's literally raw beef and veggies/herbs in a lime vinaigrette which "cooks" the beef. You can eat beef raw, so it's not like it has to cure for a number of hours like a ceviche, but okay, remove it from your menu if you can't reliably have it. We order our food. My partner orders a dish he has had at this location numerous times before. It is a dish of stir fried veggies and chicken on a bed of crunchy noodles (looks like a birds nest). He orders egg rolls as well. I order salad rolls and the P1 pho. My salad rolls come out first, maybe 10 minutes later. No worries, they were tasty and well made. And we wait. Another 15 minutes and both our entrees come out, and his egg rolls. His dish is on a bed of stir fried soft noodles, and they give me a refrigerated, plastic wrapped dish with a lemon, two slivers of jalapeno, bean sprouts, and Vietnamese coriander (rau răm). No basil. So I ask him for some basil since that is STANDARD with pho. He goes "Oh okay" and comes back HOLDING two sprigs of basil, and tells me how the flooding in Hawaii a few weeks back makes them unable to get thai basil, so all they have is Italian basil. Okay, interesting...but why wouldn't you tell someone, at a Pho place, that not only do you not have limes but you don't have basil. The pho with the basil we got was good. Good broth, nice amount of meat. But my partners egg rolls had some weird HARD thing in them that he spit out and we left on the plate, which the guy serving us had no idea. He said he'd check with who supplies them. All in all, it was disappointing. Given their menu consistently advertises things they don't really carry regularly, and they seem to just be fine swapping things out without even letting you know when you order, I don't think we will be back. We gave them a lot of chances, from when it was Pho 777 and even here, and given how much it costs to go out to eat, its not worth it. To the servers credit, he did comp my partners food but I insisted on paying for mine since I actually ate mine. My partner decided to eat elsewhere given how much he disliked his. I gave it a two stars instead of one because my pho was good and they did comp my partner, but I think this was our last time. read more

I was traveling with friends and we stopped here for lunch. We were greeted and seated right away, and the staff were very friendly. Most of us ordered the com tam with Korean short ribs (R2), which came with a small bowl of soup, while others ordered pho and a Vietnamese sandwich. Everything was sooooo good! The short ribs had a lot of flavor, and the nuoc cham (fish sauce) paired really well with the com tam. The soup was also very flavorful. Customer service was excellent but they didn't follow any of our online instructions we requested when placing the order. They even gave us a different dish than what we ordered. So we did spend money for a few dishes and one was something that we didn't order and other four dishes came different than what we wanted it with. That is why I am giving it 3 stars. I was in Vancouver for the weekend and decided to stop by Pho Zone, it did not disappoint! The restaurant is located in a strip mall plaza with plenty of parking. The restaurant itself is clean, vibes are relaxing, and staff are welcoming and attentive. I ordered the Bun Bo Hue - noodle to meat ratio was perfect. Broth was traditional and super flavorful, noodles were cooked perfectly and the meat was tender. It even came with a side of sate chili paste which was a plus since most restaurants don't provide that anymore. 5/5 service and food (I'm from San Jose where we literally have the best Vietnamese food so I know what I'm talking about ya'll). I'm a native of the San Jose area in California, so I'm always happy to see new Vietnamese places open up around here! We do have plentiful options in Vancouver, but few of them stand out or hit the mark. This place definitely hits the mark and has unique Vietnamese items that you can't always get elsewhere! Their Braised Catfish and Vietnamese Sour Soup are delicious dishes I'd recommend to those looking to expand their Vietnamese experience beyond Pho and Banh Mi. Their Salt and Pepper Shrimp is my favorite here though. Seasoned perfectly with fish sauce and onions which soak up all the flavor with fresh veggies to clean the palette with every bite. They are very friendly here as well, and have adjusted recipes based on customer feedback in their short time open! It's lovely to see how they care about their customers. Don't expect anything fancy inside though, while it's very spacious it is also mostly function over form! But you normally don't go to Vietnamese for a bourgeois experience! My husband and I stopped by Pho Zone in Vancouver, WA this weekend and I can honestly say it was some of the best pho I've had in a long time. The broth was absolutely phenomenal! It was rich, flavorful and clearly simmered with care. You can taste the depth and balance in every spoonful. The noodles were perfectly cooked, the portions were generous, and the fresh herbs and toppings really elevated the whole bowl. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Even without snapping a photo (I dove in too fast!), this is one of those meals you remember. If you're in Vancouver and craving authentic, comforting pho, Pho Zone is a must-visit. Stopped in for lunch with my husband the other day. He got the chicken pho and I got the mi quang and we shared the lime beef. The pho was sweet, which he wasn't a fan of and the mi quang was very underwhelming. Not a lot of flavor compared to other places I've had it at. Surprisingly the like beef was the best thing we had out of the 3 items. Service was okay, a little slow for how empty it was. Could have been cleaner... There were only 2 other customers in the restaurant at the time we got there and there was a few tables that hadn't been cleaned off with dirty dishes and left over food and pieces of food all over the floor at those tables when we arrived. I don't think I'd be back for the soups but would only come back again for the lime beef. read more

I've been to Pho Zone a few times now and will definitely keep coming in. Turmeric Noodle - I can't find this dish everywhere, so I was excited to see it here. It was fine, but the turmeric taste wasn't as strong as I would like it. Canh Chua (Vietnamese Sour Soup) - this item is currently on the "Testing" menu and I LOVE it. This soup is why I come to Pho Zone. I haven't seen it anywhere else (though I will be looking harder for it now). The server who has been there each time we've gone has been very welcoming and answered our questions about the menu. The tables aren't usually filled, but we come with three kids so that's a plus for us. If you're in the area and need a Vietnamese soup fix, Pho Zone is a good option. I had errands to run next door and went back after 15 minutes. The server looked courteous and told me that it would be a little longer. All in all it took 35 minutes to get my to go order. It was 1 order of bun bo hue and 1 order of grilled pork over rice. Got home to try our food and discovered that the bun bo hue was not quite authentic. There was no lemongrass flavor and the noodles were broken. I've had my fair share of bun Bo hue and this was not it. The grilled pork rice dish was just alright too. I'm not sure if it was just an off day but paid basically $40 for lunch for 2 that was just mid. I don't think we'll be back. read more

The food here was hands down one of the best meals I had during my visit to the area. I ordered the P2 Phó Special combo with the Beef Rib. Portions were large with plenty of meat, broth was hot the entire time, and the flavor was balanced and super satisfying. My girlfriend ordered the Mi Quanq turmeric noodles, and it was my first time trying it. It was hearty, had a lot of variety of different meats, and tasted so good. We were greeted quickly and the lone employee we saw was friendly and helpful. Had a delicious bowl of Pho with brisket and eye round steak. The broth was flavorful and warming. I only gave them 4 stars because the meat was a bit sparse. The meat tasted great though, just needed a little more. My companion had the Pad Thai and she said it was delicious. Pho Zone delivers the broth. I ordered the S4: Wonton Noodle soup with egg noodles. The noodles were nice and chewy and the wontons plump and well filled. It was topped with thin slices of pork and chicken. Hub had a vermicelli bowl. The fun thing about pho is digging around for all the little surprises layered in the soup. I had plenty to take home and even purchased extra broth because I loved it so much. The staff here is absolutely delightful and cheery.
