Parking here can be a little crazy. It's very spacious moderate noise and very clean. Service is usually good sometimes it can get slow. I get the Seafood pho except I get extra fish balls and no squid. The broth is pretty good and the accompanying sides are usually fresh. I tried wings for the first time they were OK needed more flavor. My girlfriend got the beef broth with shrimp pho and she enjoyed it. If I was eating here myself, it would probably have been 5 stars. However, relatives were with me, and it gave me a different vibe. They can be harsh critics, but I feel very fair too. I ordered (dry) beef ho fun and they were on-point. The price point was in-line with inflation and seemed very reasonable with the portion they gave. I enjoyed it too much but at least took about 1/4 of it home rather than 1/2. I really liked how they offered dry or wet options whether I wanted beef, shrimp, or I believe chicken was another option. Not many places let you choose dry or wet and they just give it to you a certain way that they normally prepare it where language and translation can be an issue otherwise. I had the iced Vietnamese coffee which was fine, but it wasn't knocking me out of the park. I don't know what would have. I wouldn't say I'm much of a coffee expert, but I have been open to drinking black once in awhile, cream only more often, or cream and sugar if out and about and if the establishment typically puts in both. If I have to put it in, I tend to avoid sugar now because the low amount of sugar in cream is enough for me. The summer roll and peanut sauce was fine. Nothing really stuck out for me, but it certainly was not a bad meal at all. On their website, they describe themselves as "modern Vietnamese cuisine" and I agree with at this location. The decor and stylized building is definitely modern, and nuances such as offering dry or wet options for Ho Fun (wide rice noodles) would consider as "modern". Part of positive modernness is quality accessibility, and this place seems to have great food accessibility and communication. My relatives had the pho, and they felt the quality of the meat was too cheap. We felt that is it very possible that the quality of food has decreased overall due to climate change potentially. The tea was nice, the ambiance was beautiful, and we even liked how the waiting staff was allowed to push carts around to be not unnecessarily burdensome on carrying trays and entrees with hand for "aesthetic". There is enough parking even though you might have to park farther away if its busy. Their system of having numbered tables and then paying up at the register works well with this system. I love Pho Ha Saigon! The food is consistent, so I know what to expect every time I go. They've recently started to charge $2 extra for additional sauce if you're taking the food out. This is a new practice for them, but if you want to swap hoisin for sriracha or chili paste, you can likely do that without paying the extra, but be specific when you order. If you want all of the sauces, you're likely to have the extra fee. If you sit inside, you can use the sauces as you please. Came here on a Sunday night with my family of 8. This is a place I loved going for years. However the last few times, I have been more and more disappointed. My kids ordered two different types of milk teas and both of them were still powdery. The pho broth was bland. The white rice was undercooked with a weird sour taste to it. I've been coming here since they opened, and over the years the number of order errors or quality issues has climbed to the point where I've decided it's just not worth risking lunch or dinner. A few months ago I ordered a vermicelli bowl and the noodles were quite hot, not room temp to a bit warm as they should be, and have been everywhere else for the last 40 years. I inquired with the next staff to walk by who turned out to be a manager. She told me that the kitchen had probably run out of cold noodles so was using a newly cooked batch, as if that by itself was a reason for me to enjoy a hot bowl of bun thit. I had a wild ride a few weeks ago that led me to Pho Ha Saigon. Starting with fast food, my plan quickly changed to Vietnamese, where I found this spot on GrubHub and called in a huge order for a picnic. I need everyone to understand how delicious this spot is, and how much you get for a take out order. I was skeptical getting soups to-go, but there was plenty to go around here. I got to try two banh mis, one breakfast themed one and one pork classic one, and they were both on a great roll with a good balance of toppings to meat. The mayo on it was so creamy but not salty at all, but it leveled out with the flavors of the sandwich. Now, the soups. While the beef balls were a little small, the soup itself was delicious and not as expensive as other places. And the best part was a beef soup with pork foot in it- I forgot the name, but the meat in it was vietnamese pork roll (great texture) and the beef brisket in it make me beg for more. I ate this over 3 meals or so, and it satisfied my urge to eat out for a long time. There are plenty of options in the area, and they all look great, but I highly recommend that people passing through think about Pho Ha Saigon for their banh mis and soups. I normally order take out from this place so i decided to dine in this time. For those potentially asking about parking this restaurant has a parking lot thats shared by other stores in a plaza so no issues there trying to find parking. For my dine in experience I decided to order Pho Chin Dac Biet which is their Well done deluxe in Large. This rice noodle soup consist of Well done brisket, fat brisket, flank, tendon, and tripe. This choice is my go to if anyone is not feeling the rare beef in their pho. For starters I absolutely love their spring rolls as it comes out nice and crispy with slices of lettuce and pickled carrots. The appetizer also cones with a side of fish sauce to dip the springs rolls in. I also order summer rolls which is one of my favorites to get when Im eating pho. I definitely can taste the difference in quality when you dine in versus dining out. When you dine in they lut more meat into the summer rolls and when you dine out you can tell they are a bit stingy. Nonetheless the summer rolls are amazing dipping it into the peanut sauce. For an even more kick I recommend adding a little chili sauce into it as this puts your taste buds into another level. For the main course the Pho Chin Dac biet was so good!!!! The broth is not too salty which is what I like. When you add in the bean sprout, basil leaf, and jalapeños to it definitely enhances the flavor. I love to do a little squeeze of lime and also added in sriracha and hoisin sauce not too much to cover the flavor but enough to compliment everything together. My only gripe is the service. When I was ordering my food I felt rushed. I've ordered at this restaurant to go literally well over 20 times last year alone and I know what they have and what they did not do. All I asked the waiter was for my summer rolls to not have veggies in it and the waiter gave a nasty attitude because of my request and didn't even get all my order down. Not my first choice of pho place in the area but still ok food if you are craving pho late at night and the other pho places are closed. Their prices are definitely higher than the other pho places close by. However, in this case, I won't say higher price means better quality food. The last couple times I've had their pho, the broth tasted diluted. The flavor was still good but not as strong as it was compared to a couple years ago. Their main selling point for me was the tamarind chicken wings (although the most recent time I had it, the chicken wings were kinda bland) and the fried spring rolls. I could just order 50 of the spring rolls and be satisfied. The service is a hit or miss. Adams Avenue in Northeast Philadelphia is a center for the Vietnamese community. The neighborhood is full of pho and com (noodle & rice) houses that are about as authentic as you can find on the East Coast. No, it is not yet as diverse as Garden Grove, CA, with little differentiation between southern and northern style cuisine, but what they do have, they do well by and large. Pho Ha Saigon benefits from being a fairly new structure; well designed and spacious enough (in a post industrial sort of way) to attract and hold your attention, with a respectable and capable kitchen. The service staff is generally bilingual and large enough to stay on top of their work. Their HVAC is strong enough to suck the front doors closed and create a semi-vacuum between them, making prying them open to enter or exit a chore. Hopefully, that also means there is sufficient circulation to be sucking out any Covid suspended in the air. I went with a smaller bowl of Pho Ga (Chicken Noodle Soup), Spring Rolls, and takeout for the family of Grilled Beef w Vermicelli, and Roast Pork/Beef Banh Mi). The bowl was still large enough for a few goldfish to swim comfortably. The chicken broth had very good flavor profile and there were plenty of accessories (Thai basil, sprouts, jalapeno slices, & lime wedge) to adapt to my tastebuds. The sliced breast meat was downright generous, and the under the surface nest of thin rice noodles, more than adequate. While the Spring Rolls were generic, with standard sweet dipping sauce, the pho was a pleasure to slurp with flat spoon in one hand and chopsticks in the other. It filled me completely. I suppose the broth could have been somewhat deeper in secondary seasoning and simmer time, because I found myself suffering a mild case of MSG poisoning on the way home. I am allergic to it, and I should have warned them when ordering. Still, MSG really shouldn't even be in their kitchen. Chalk it up to my oversight. I won't remove a star, but reserve the right to let people know in case they are also sensitive to it. That evening my family went after the Banh Mi and Vermicelli dish with gusto. The sandwiches were stuffed and had great taste with strong roll contributions. The Grilled Beef was succulent and in small thin sliced pieces. Delicious. But for my bout with the food additive, I totally enjoyed my meal at Pho Ha Saigon, and will not hesitate to return with memo to self about inquiring about MSG. read more

Some of my fave pho !! Ive been an avid pho lover since my childhood and this place definitely hits the spot every time. For the price, quantity, and quality of the pho, it really can't be beat. My go to order is usually #20, the pho chic Dac biet and I LOVE IT. There's always a good amount of noodles and beef. The broth always has great beef flavor and aromatics that just feels perfectly cozy. I drove to Philadelphia to a vet next-door to the restaurant. I had time to pick up some lunch so I ordered two different bun mi hoagies and a pork on rice. I was asked if I wanted jalapeños in my sandwiches and I said no when I got home both sandwiches had jalapeño in them which was pretty upsetting as I drove two hours home to enjoy my meal. Very very very yummy broth! I love having Pho on cold day, it warms my soul. Service is fast, the staff is nice and the food comes out in less than 15 minutes. Even the take out comes out in a reasonable amount of time. My mom and I always get extra Thai Basil, because we love the fresh bite it gives the broth. I have been to Pho Ha several times. Actually more then that. I would consider myself a regular. I usually get Pho from here once a month for about the last year. The pho here is really good. They always have a study flow of guest so it is never really empty here. The menu is fairly easy to navigate and you can even order by number. Tip: rare steak pho #21. The reason I gave this place 3 stars is because it's service is spotty. Sometimes the gentlemen working there are on and other times, like today - it is horrible. We had to wait quite a bit for a server to come to our table. Also when I inquire about my drinks, the server told me that they are busy and we would get our drinks later. It came off as rude.
