House Fried Rice
Jackie P.

My favorite Pho spot!!! The pho is a good portion. I always get a medium and it's always very filling. The broth is packed with flavor even without adding the extras. My husband got the house fried rice. It had shrimp, pork and chicken and is a healthy portion. Very very good. We also get the crispy spring rolls. I love coming here. The service is fast and great. It's always nice and clean in here as well.

My favorite place to eat Pho!. Waiters are always nice and quick. The beef pho is my favorite the food is always hot. The restaurant has a normal ambiance quiet and calm.

Beef ho fun (dry)

If I was eating here myself, it would probably have been 5 stars. However, relatives were with me, and it gave me a different vibe. They can be harsh critics, but I feel very fair too. I ordered (dry) beef ho fun and they were on-point. The price point was in-line with inflation and seemed very reasonable with the portion they gave. I enjoyed it too much but at least took about 1/4 of it home rather than 1/2. I really liked how they offered dry or wet options whether I wanted beef, shrimp, or I believe chicken was another option. Not many places let you choose dry or wet and they just give it to you a certain way that they normally prepare it where language and translation can be an issue otherwise. I had the iced Vietnamese coffee which was fine, but it wasn't knocking me out of the park. I don't know what would have. I wouldn't say I'm much of a coffee expert, but I have been open to drinking black once in awhile, cream only more often, or cream and sugar if out and about and if the establishment typically puts in both. If I have to put it in, I tend to avoid sugar now because the low amount of sugar in cream is enough for me. The summer roll and peanut sauce was fine. Nothing really stuck out for me, but it certainly was not a bad meal at all. On their website, they describe themselves as "modern Vietnamese cuisine" and I agree with at this location. The decor and stylized building is definitely modern, and nuances such as offering dry or wet options for Ho Fun (wide rice noodles) would consider as "modern". Part of positive modernness is quality accessibility, and this place seems to have great food accessibility and communication. My relatives had the pho, and they felt the quality of the meat was too cheap. We felt that is it very possible that the quality of food has decreased overall due to climate change potentially. The tea was nice, the ambiance was beautiful, and we even liked how the waiting staff was allowed to push carts around to be not unnecessarily burdensome on carrying trays and entrees with hand for "aesthetic". There is enough parking even though you might have to park farther away if its busy. Their system of having numbered tables and then paying up at the register works well with this system. They have a good system that allows quality preparation, efficient timing, and service. There are 3 of these locations around the Philadelphia region.

As always, the food was delicious. I treated a friend of mine to lunch to introduce him to Vietnamese food and they didn't disappoint. Our food came out fresh and hot. The server made sure our water and tea stayed full. Very fun atmosphere in the dining area. Ordered a marinated pork banh mi to go because why not? Love this place.

Clean and spacious with delicious food! Servers are attentive and fast. I keep coming back for the H5 Bánh Mì with fresh and crunchy veggies (this one comes with pork but there are plenty of non pork options). Crispy spring rolls are a must! Broth in the fall and winter for me, so when the temperature drops I will definitely come back for the brisket or steak Pho. Payment happens at the front based on your table number. PLENTY of parking!

Service: This was my first time trying Pho and it did not disappoint! The service was very quick and attentive. As a first-timer, I asked the waiter a lot of questions and he explained the options and differences between the dishes I was choosing between. Overall, we got our food very quickly and everything was very fresh! Atmosphere: The restaurant looks like a new construction, with brand-new dining furniture and artwork. It was very spacious, open, and well-lit with natural sunlight. By the time we left, there were 15+ more tables seated than when we arrived - this place is popular! Food: I ordered the Phở Chin Dac Biet Well Done Deluxe Beef Pho. Even though I got a size small, I was still surprised by the generous amount served. The food was delicious, fresh, and flavorful. I also got the Mu Xao Don Hoac Mem Ga Chicken Pan Fried Noodles, and the Chao Tom Shrimp with Sugarcane. I'd recommend this restaurant for the authentic Pho experience.

Besides pho, there are also many options like stir-fried noodles, stir-fried rice noodles, and fried vermicelli, as well as grilled meat and seafood set meals. You can also order milk tea.

I love Pho Ha Saigon! The food is consistent, so I know what to expect every time I go. They've recently started to charge $2 extra for additional sauce if you're taking the food out. This is a new practice for them, but if you want to swap hoisin for sriracha or chili paste, you can likely do that without paying the extra, but be specific when you order. If you want all of the sauces, you're likely to have the extra fee. If you sit inside, you can use the sauces as you please. It gets busy, but they have plenty of seating, so you should be seated shortly after arriving.

Decided on Pho for dinner tonight. I Wanted something quick and easy. I was with a group of 4, we were seated immediately. We sat down and were given ice water. I thought we would get hot tea also, but that would have been extra fee. After we placed our order we received our food about 10 mins later. Very fast. The restaurant was not busy at all. Everything was fresh. The waiter came to check on us periodically during our meal. I would definitely recommend this place if you're craving Pho.

Special shout out to our server, Gina, for making our visit and eating experience spectacular and we would request for her and refer friends to do the same! She recommended we try their Bahn Hoi selection part of the menu when we asked for something new (non-pho/ the more common Vietnamese known dishes). It came as a platter (see pic) that's large enough to share. It's basically DIY your own summer roll! We ordered 13. Ba Vi. It comes with rice paper (no-refillable for reg customers), ground beef stuffed with grape leaves, shrimp wrapped w/ sugarcane, & grilled ground pork. Sauces cost extra, unfortunately. The ambiance is spacious and relaxing.

I was born and raised in Philly Chinatown and have been eating here for as long as I can remember…read more It's been a whole decade now and even though me and my family have moved right outside of Philly, we still drive that long distance and come here to eat because it's never changed. The fresh smell of their noodles brings back nice childhood memories. Their food has always been great and their broth is absolutely delicious. Me and my siblings always clear the entire bowl and leave nothing behind. Their spring rolls are a MUST TRY because it's always very crispy and steaming hot when they serve it to you. The drinks are amazing especially their fruit smoothies because they use actual fresh fruits so their drinks end up having a lot of flavor. The staff here are very nice that we even managed to get along with some of them. You can rest assured that you WILL get what you paid for because they fill their bowls to the brim. There's always going to be a good amount of food in each of their dishes so feel free to order whatever you crave. Couple tips: Try to eat AT the place to ensure that your food is fresh and good. Take out for the most part isn't really good because your food is literally just sitting there until you get it or until you open it up and eat it. USE THEIR SAUCES!!! Or make your own sauce with the ones provided. Always makes a difference when I dip food in it or mix it with the soup. Don't be afraid to come with a big group of people. They have an upstairs seating area too but I guess if you're coming with a lot of people just let them know in advance before entering. This is Chinese owned so it's more like a casual Asian restaurant but the food is definitely worth a try because it's affordable.

The biggest surprise was the tái (eye-round steak), yet still retaining that pleasantly chewy texture of undercooked beef; the gầu (fat brisket) was thick and crisp, fragrant but not greasy--who would have thought I'd find brisket fat here? This showed the restaurant's precise control over the broth temperature and the thickness of the beef. Almost all phở restaurants claim to offer authentic raw beef or various cuts of beef, but very few can truly make customers feel the difference. The restaurant's decor is simple but spacious and clean; the service is average, but very efficient. Efficiency is essential for phở, otherwise the beef would be overcooked in the hot broth. After all, the essence of a restaurant is food, and for such affordable ones, it's gratifying to see them spend most of their costs on the food itself.

Pho Today is an enormous restaurant which does authentic Vietnamese very well. I honestly believe…read moretheir broth is better than Pho '75 across the street which seemed rather sweet to me. They have great meats. Their hearty Buns will blow your mind: as noted, the House Special is practically enough for two people. You'll also see many people eating the Prime Rib Pho which is quite different. to me it looks a bit unwieldly (much prefer meats cut into the broth). Their Bún Riêu, Duck Soup (served with a unique ginger sauce and bamboo shoots) and Bún bò Huế all hit the mark. Pho Today gives you two choices for the classic Fish In Pottery Pot, bone-off and bone-on. Many Vietnamese restaurants don't carry this anymore. One thing I should tell y'all is that, when you order your meal, ask for the homemade chilli oil.....they won't give it to you unless you ask: it's made with garlic and is really special. If I were to nitpick I'd suggest upping the ante on the spring rolls which are more of a footnote here. I much prefer the larger spring rolls, cut into 4 sections served with basil, veggies and lettuce for wrapping. But, yea, this place does a really good job and seems to be the go-to for both Vietnamese food and serious eaters.
