It's clean and the customer service is attentive and polite. I was called sir, which I like. Pho special was on point. Hot clean rich broth. For purists, you don't need to add anything to the broth. Veggies were fresh and the lime slice was juicy. Saw my thinly tasty steak getting sliced. Tendon was gelatinously delicious. Meatball slices were good. They put red onions were a good surprise. And the noodles were just right on the texture. Just a really good bowl! Mi Dac Biet. It reminded me of hu tieu but just their version. Very clean and light broth. Could use some slight salt to bring it out more, but it was good. Again, veggies were fresh and lime was juicy. Shrimp was plump and not over cooked. Chicken was thinly sliced and tasty. And ground pork bits on the bottom of the bowl. How can you go wrong with ground pork?! The combo with the three was well thought out. Good job! Noodle was good tasting and had textured. One negative is that they need to offer a tiny dipping bowl to put condiments for the meat. I was creative and used my plate from the veggies that came with the soup. No biggie but useful. Best pho in Seattle I've had! Handmade noodles and the broth is absolutely delicious. The noodles are very soft and are so much better than other pho restaurants that use packaged noodles. The broth is comforting and seasoned exactly correctly. Healthy portions of basil and toppings given for takeouts (which I've gotten several times). #1- The utensils were not properly washed or dried- they give you a metal container where your forks, spoons, chopsticks and napkins all rest inside. My spoon was wet. #2-0 attentiveness , they had a lot of grub hub orders so they could of just been backed up. The girl running the front desk also took my order. Nobody refilled my water or asked if it was ok to my liking. #3-$11 after tax for a large pho - That was more like medium sized - the broth and noodles and meat were decently flavored but I noticed the oil sheen on the broth. Decided to try this place since my regular pho spot was closed for the day First of all, the pho noodles are very different than any other pho restaurant which they do not advise you of--very wide and textured noodles For the price I expect the broth to at least be rich but it was completely bland. I came in for a quick bite and was greeted relatively quickly and told to sit where I like. Someone came and asked me what I wanted to drink promptly and I asked for water. I then waited what felt like a long time before someone finally brought me water and took my order. I made my way to the back, I took a seat, but there were no menus on the table. When I was greeted five minutes later, I was provided with a menu, and asked if I needed water or hot tea. No apology for the wait. I asked for water, but I was not served for over thirty minutes before I decided to leave. I had been in several times before, and had never had such terrible service. Short story I learned about this place. The son took over this business his father started and made it his own. I'm assuming his father has finally retired although, I can also see him doing his cameo visits like today. I've been here several times in the past but I can't remember how much has changed. Yahoo, wut!? Ok... I'll speak of pho experience only . (Squirrel!) Well, this small soup i ordered had 3 types of meats. I'm almost sure it's ground pork, slices of chicken breasts and a couple of pretty size scrimps. (Grammarly...) I really liked the broth. Again, eating soups is always about the "good broth". There is a saying that: "If you can't be good at it, then be really good at "it" (be good at whatever it is you do) Make sense? Some will get this. (Oops, squirrel!) Never mind... Anyway, when I go to a new place or new and improved pho places, My orders are always the fresh spring rolls with shrimp and pork , and pho. Again, this is how I determine whether it's a keeper or it's a meh... Most places will top this soup with white fresh cut onion strips. Well, they used the red onions which, I really like. It adds a hint of sweetness to the broth and brings all the flavors together--the veggies toppings including the umami. Google "umami" if ju don't know. This place is very generous and per serving. The ratio of meats to broth and veggies is excellent. It's perfect. Service is awesome. They are fast and also very accurate. Polite staff and friendly to look at. I like this place! Literally have been coming here since high school and I graduated 10+ years ago. Maybe it's just restaurant loyalty but if its not broke, why fix it? If there's a pho place I know is good, why waste energy trying to find a new spot? I usually would get the combination beef pho, spring rolls and Thai iced tea to be completely satisfied but I recently started getting ox tail for a bit $ more but omgg is it amazing! Definitely worth it. My son is a very picky eater but he likes the potstickers and chicken wings the most. Also, there are times I'm not craving meat and I like the fact that there's vegetarian options as well. The bubble tea does taste a little artificial, not real fruit, but it's still really good. They do serve fruit smoothies but in limited flavors. But I have to say, this is my most favorite place to get Thai iced tea because they make it JUST RIGHT. read more

First time going to Pho Ha! I loved the food but service was weird. I was sitting at a table with my two friends. Not clocked in employee was starring at us the whole time and made me feel extremely uncomfortable and uneasy. We ordered food for the family today. The special rice (com tam dac biet) is supposed to come with cha trung (egg meatloaf) and we opened the box to find it missing. Having received an already super-small portion for $13, I called to ask if it no longer came with the rice dish. The manager said that they had run out for the day and responded along the lines of, "We would have given you another if you brought it up the next time you came." Today's sandwich left my palette in a foul mood. I ate it all because I was hungry but will not order a sandwich here again. Compared to whats out there and what the competitors offer, this was sub-par. If you're the owner and reading this, please go out and try some of the other sandwiches. If you are going to charge $11 for a bowl of Pho, it needs to be extraordinary. Unfortunately, the soup at Pho Ha is mediocre at best. Situated right off of the highway in Shoreline, this once mom and pop Vietnamese takeaway has revamped their interior and is now marketing itself as "Saigon street food". The interior is hip and modern, with lots of polished wood, kitschy lighted sign, and even a vintage Honda scooter on display in the front. Based on the ambiance and theme alone, the prices are double of those at a typical Pho joint. I was happy to find that their menu has a specifically vegetarian section, offering vegan vermicelli, tofu curry, pho, and lemongrass tofu/rice entrees. All of the other Pho options can be ordered in two different sizes, but for some reason the vegan one can only be made as a large. The portion was indeed very large-too much for me to finish on my own. The soup had a generous amount of fresh bean curd and vegetables, but the broth lacked flavor and needed a lot of additional sriracha and hoisin to be enjoyable. There also were not as many noodles as I expected, considering the huge bowl of broth. My boyfriend has equally underwhelmed by his Beef Pho. Their iced coffee comes pre-made with condensed milk, so if you are vegan, ask for it black. Our waitress cautioned me that it would be extremely bitter this way, but I actually liked it. $28 for two bowls of Pho and a coffee just doesn't seem right. While the meal was not bad by any means, it was not good enough for me to return or recommend. read more

I came here on my way back from Shoreline after running an errand. I had a couple of other pho options like Pho Mimi, Tic Tac Pho, etc., but I decided to try something new. I was the only person in the restaurant around 12 p.m. on a Sunday afternoon and that was a bit surprising to me, but whatever, I get more attention that way. Pho is probably the only meals that I'll eat by myself because when I am craving it, I will go out of my way solo to get it. Anyway, I ordered a small bowl of pho with meatballs and brisket and spring rolls that I had to take home since the pho was so filling. The pho was pretty decent, but didn't taste super outstanding or anything, but it did hit the spot. I was more disappointed at the prices because I'm used to pho for around $5-$6 a bowl, but my total came out to be closer to $15 with the spring rolls and the added 50 cents when using a credit card. I hate it when restaurants charge that extra fee for using credit cards under $15 or something... but what can you do? I may come back to try some of the other dishes because most pho restaurants only serve pho so it's nice to know that they have other options too. read more
