We grabbed takeout since they were about to close. Quick service. Decent ingredients with average taste. Noodles stood out as not tasting too good (maybe we got the end of night scraps). Value seems a little lacking since price is pretty hefty for pho. . Also, I ordered a large and a regular, but from the looks of what I got, both were the same size. Can't really tell if I ended getting 2 large's (if so, thank you) or 2 regular's (if so, value drops even further).

Came here because I was nearby and craving some banh mi for lunch! I ordered the combination pork banh mi and the portion size was decent for the price (around $12). I would say the bun was thicker than I would've liked and hoped there was a little more filling but I still think the banh mi was a good deal :) Service was quick, and the establishment was a pretty spacious place to have a quick bite!

I've been coming to this spot for over 10 years and they've still got it! Perfect place to come for a piping hot bowl of pho or bun Bo hue. We came about 30 min before they closed on a week day after work and loved every bite! Support local!

My family's favorite to go pho spot. The staff is always there to greet you as soon as you set foot through the door. They are always friendly. The restaurant is well kept and clean. Restaurant is very well lighted. It feels very home like and makes you feel warm and comfortable. Ingredients used is always very fresh. The beef broth of the pho is light yet flavorful. It is not too heavy or salty at all. Must add service is fast too. We didn't have to wait long for our food to arrive. Would definitely recommend this place and come back with my family.

Another great bowl of Pho! They now include cilantro/coriander in the accoutrement. Always fast service, always a clean and comfortable vibe.

Service is very quick. Bowl size for pho is huge. On the meat to noodles ratio, it leans significantly more on the noodles. Overall, everything is tasty and I'm glad this place exists in the neighborhood.

We haven't come here since the pandemic hit. Used to be our Vietnamese foods spot. I'm glad it still under the same ownership. All the prices went up 50% , I still have the old menu before the pandemic. Foods still good like the old days. Might come back more often from now.

Food was pretty mid, not that great, they did give a pretty good amount of noodles. The cleanliness of the tables were ok. Service was fast, but the waitress was pretty mean and rude when we were just asking for an extra bowl and plate. Even if I am around the area, I might not come back again. Mid food and bad service.

I went back yesterday! Im thrilled to say that its still amazing. It totally hits the spot& comes out super fast! Its so savory, warm and delicious. I will come back again and again! Now my partner loves it too! He said the wontons had great flavor the way dumplings should taste.

The Bun Bo Hue is still good here, but most, if not all, of the appetizers are a miss for us. We try to get different things each time. However, today the #2 was also a miss because the beef texture was weird. The service is always fast, though.

I ended up getting food poisoning from here. The food wasn't prepared correctly what's so ever. I been throwing up the last 12 hours and they are the only place I had.

lol. it aint great. but it'll like do because it's close by. but i'd pick kevin or pho ga any day over here. so here's what's good: -service is good and wait time is pretty short. -they speak chinese so it's even easier to order. -free tea lesssgooo. -lots of seating so i never had to wait. what's meh: -everything else. i recommend not straying from the typical common viet stuff like beef or chicken pho, imperial roll, because the banh cuon and bun bo hue are no good imo. do not order it. which is sad because not many vietnamese restaurants in sf offer banh cuon. :( -it's pretty old interior so it can be a turn off. -quality and taste just doesn't match the price point here. i think it's just fine. average at best. kevin's is better because they put more msg so it's more flavorful. sorry :/

Stopped by for a quick lunch on the weekend and it was pretty spacious. Had a lot of options on their menu and our food came out pretty quickly. The staff was nice, helping us get items we needed and making sure our orders were correct. Shrimp Rolls - Came out with 4 pieces and the rice paper was a little stiff. The ingredients were fresh but it was mostly vermicelli inside. Combo Beef Noodle Soup - The pho was pretty standard and didn't stand out to me. The soup was very light but didn't have the usual rich meat flavor. My boyfriend got the Bun Bo Hue which he highly recommends, saying it was one of his favorites in the bay area, and you have to add lemon/lime and fish paste/ot sate to it so definitely go here if that's the dish you want to get!

We ordered the Papaya Salad, Veg Spring Rolls, House Favorite Yellow Curry, Eggplant Basil, Pad Kee Mao, and White Rice. The Papaya Salad was a bit disappointing. It was overly sour and tasted more citrusy than fresh and lime-forward. The Veg Spring Rolls were fine, but nothing particularly memorable. The biggest letdown was the Yellow Curry. It lacked the rich flavor I typically expect from a Thai curry, and some of the vegetables seemed undercooked. The Eggplant Basil was also underwhelming. It lacked the distinct basil flavor that the dish is known for. Since we ordered the vegetarian version, it came loaded with a mix of other vegetables, which made it feel more like a generic vegetable stir-fry than an eggplant basil dish. The Pad Kee Mao was the standout of the meal. It had good flavor and was enjoyable, although the portion size felt a bit small for the price. Overall, the food was ok, but nothing really stood out. I've had better Thai food elsewhere, both in terms of flavor and value. While the experience wasn't bad, it wasn't memorable enough to make me want to return. For the price point, I expected more authentic flavors and better execution.

If you're looking for a calm, relaxing place to eat, I wouldn't say this is the place. It's sort of an "in and out" situation. I ordered the spicy G.K.O. So so delicious. One of the standout appetizers was the spicy enoki chips. They were packed with flavor while still feeling light and crispy. Fair warning--they definitely bring some heat! I love spicy food, and while the spice didn't linger much on my tongue, it definitely had my nose running a bit. My husband ordered the GKO ramen bowl, and it was absolutely loaded with flavor. The garlic-forward broth was rich, savory, and incredibly satisfying. It does get a little heavy toward the end, and you'll probably leave with garlic breath--but it's 100% worth it. I ordered the Spicy Signature Toripaitan ramen, and we were both glad I did. Despite the name, it's not particularly spicy, which was perfectly fine with me. The broth was creamy, flavorful, and comforting without being as rich as the GKO. The duck chashu was incredibly tender, and the oyster mushrooms added a wonderful chewy texture that balanced the bowl beautifully. Add the enoki chips to the broth, you won't regret it! Service was great. We were checked in on frequently and always had a refill when needed which was definitely needed when we ate the enoki chips. At least for my husband anyway. Overall, we absolutely loved the ramen here. Every dish was flavorful, filling, and thoughtfully prepared. We left happy, full, and already looking forward to our next visit.

I've been to plenty of Japanese/Ramen spots and I've been running into the issue where I say I have a soy allegry and there is an assumption that I have a gluten issue (I do not have a gluten issue). I noticed yelp said they have soy-free options and thus called on Friday thinking it might be a bad idea as they're usually busy.. It was defintely hard for the person to hear a bit when they picked up. The staff did relay something about gluten free noodles.. We had it family style. The 3 of us shared it all. There was plenty to go around. None of us left hungry. I can't even pick a favorite. Maybe the numb and spicy which wasn't that spicy. It was just so good and flavorful. The soup dumplings were amazing. So much perfect flavor. They held together until the bite. So good. The hot and sour soup was plenty tasty. Not the best I've ever had but certainly among the best. The only thing I will say is that one of my companions can't have seaweed. The wonton soup was amazing but full of seaweed. It wasn't listed on the menu and we have never had seaweed in any other wonton soup so didn't know to ask if it could be left out. That was sad. Once we got seated, they were pretty prompt to give us utensils, napkins, cups, and water. The two of us shared the Braise Beef Galbi Stew. It's more than enough for 2 people to go home in food comas (with some food remaining) and for 3 to be sufficiently full. If you have big eaters, order an app alongside if you have 3 people. The Galbi stew was exceptional. I liked that they had various levels of spiciness. We went with spicy and it had a nice kick that elevated the dish for me. The beef was very tender and flavorful and the veggies and rice cakes soaked up all the juices. And the cheese was so stretchy! I'd actually rank this place slightly above Daeho given the shorter wait, the quality, and the price. I'll be back for sure.
