I want to preface this review with the fact that, at the time of our visit Pho Hoa had only been open for a few weeks. With that being said I think they may have opened too early and weren't fully prepared to take on customers. After a short wait we were seated, but the waiting game had just begun. It took quite some time to have our waitress come over and take our drink and meal orders, but she apologized profusely for being understaffed and was very kind. After that the meal took a while to come out and our drinks (waters) didn't come out until 15 minutes after our food. The food wasn't worth the wait either. The meat I had, had a very odd texture that felt grainy and lacked taste. My girlfriend did have a better experience with the vermicelli, however we both agreed that there was a big lack of flavor and left us wanting to grab some good in the way home. I'm hopeful that time will help fix these issues and that we will have a better experience if we return.

My pho large with rare steak and brisket and lychee green tea

I'm happy that there's finally a spot in East Cobb to fulfill the cravings but if I had time, I'd rather drive a little further to Buford highway. The food was passable if you wanted something Vietnamese without having to drive across Atlanta but I would not make a special trip out here. It seems to be a chain and I'm shocked that it was able to expand here with inconsistencies of the food.(there's no way it expanded with broth like this lol so I'm thinking it's just a different chef not following recipes?) Overall I did get my craving satisfied. I did like the lychee green tea. And I do wish they gave more herbs. However, I still wish success for this business as again, I'm very happy for Marietta to get a pho place finally.

Family Pho Hoa & Jazen Tea - Marietta lunch! Surprised it was 50% off. Food was decent but service was a challenge because they were quite busy with their grand opening. We got our food which got cold as we waited to get eating utensils. The beef and tripe broth was good, but the beef was dry and chewy and the tripe was nearly non-existent. Worth another try after their grand opening.

Honestly delicious Pho. This place needs to be more popular. Exactly the kind of place people in East Cobb need to support so that we have more options than just Taco Bell, McDonald's, and Wendy's. When I walked in, I was greeted with a nice ambiance. Restaurant was clean and well decorated. Much nicer than I was expecting for a strip mall but still perfectly casual. The waitress sat me at a table immediately when I walked in. I was surprised at how comfortable the chairs were. Which is not something I usually mention in a review. They were so comfortable that it was impressive enough to mention. The waitress was very personable and had no problems answering my questions about the menu. I enjoyed chatting with her for a minute. And yes, the Pho was delicious. I got the steak and lean brisket pho, regular size. With 20% tip it came out to $18.84. I think my only complaint is that I walked into the restaurant not particularly hungry, and left not particularly full. Don't get me wrong, it was a decent amount of food. There was a good noodle to meat ratio, but for almost $19, I expected just a bit more food. Even just a half cup more noodles probably would have done it for me and left me satisfied. That's the only thing keeping this from a 5 star review for me. That said, there was an option for a larger sized bowl, but considering I wasn't particularly hungry when I walked in, I decided against it. Plus that would have put the bill over $20 which would have just felt a little too expensive for me. Regardless, looking forward to going back!

Pho Hoa hasn't been open that long. I spotted the restaurant before they opened and couldn't wait. I mean, who doesn't LOVE Pho? Came in today and ordered 3 different types of spring rolls and fried tofu. All the rolls was pretty good. The fried tofu was perfect. Next I got to try their Pho. Now that will tell for sure if I will become a regular customer.

Probably the worst pho I've ever had in my LIFE! maybe staying in Duluth gave me more access to Vietnamese cuisine where I've never had a BAD bowl of pho... until this place in Marietta.....the broth, the meat, the sad small plate of vegetables...... never again. Oh and my soda tasted funky, it had a sour taste to where I could just assume the cup wasn't washed properly or the nozzles weren't cleaned on the soda machine, not sure but something was off.

Happy to see a pho place in east Cobb but overall the food was just so-so here. Service was great and the interior is super cute, but I'm with other reviewers who say that they would drive further for better pho. Hope there's improvements soon as we would love to come back!

I came here for lunch recently. I noticed that they are still in the soft opening phase. If I remember correctly, their grand opening should be happening this week (mid July). In any event, my experience here was pleasant. My waiter was prompt and polite. I was very happy to see vegetarian options on the menu so I ordered a tofu roll (which is like a cold spring roll), which came with the traditional peanut sauce. For my entree, I got the vegetarian pho. Everything was delicious and I will absolutely be back!

No problem! Here's your polished 5-star review with the correct items: Absolutely amazing experience at Pho Hoa & Jazen Tea! I ordered the Vietnamese beef stew pho, and it was packed with flavor the broth was rich and comforting, and the beef was incredibly tender. The summer rolls were fresh and light, served with a delicious peanut dipping sauce that tied everything together. I also had a tea called Moonlight something kinda don't remember what it was called. (made with lemon and blueberries), and it was the perfect refreshing touch to balance the meal. The service was friendly, the food came out quickly, and the atmosphere was clean and inviting. I'll definitely be back!

-service was friendly and accommodating -interior feels clean and modern -pho was just okay; broth was a bit bland -spring rolls are kind of pricey for one order -boba was surprisingly okay; wasn't expecting too much tbh -one of the only pho places in this area it seems so it's good if you are really craving it -not sure if i would come again

After weeks of teasing us PH&JT finally did open its doors to customers. A sign posted on the front door indicates it is their soft opening. Unsure of when the grand opening is but what we had was good. A few kinks to work out in waiting tables, but otherwise, we ordered Beef Brisket and Tendon Pho (large) also a regular Beef Pho. What you would expect for Pho. The large was not excessively large. Next time I will have to order extra tendon, unsure if that is even an option. We will see. This will definitely be a staple on Fridays after piano lessons. I wonder if there is Vietnamese drip style coffee. I did not see it. They have bubble tea. Inside was a contemporary / darker decorum with a bar. The people watching view into the parking lot and passerby's is there if interested. The price for one regular and one large Pho about $30. Enough to feed a family of 3 and about the same as having Chipotle. Pretty good deal. Look forward to my next time.

The broth was incredibly flavorful and rich. My only complaint was the noodles... I definitely prefer the thinner rice noodles that come with pho. We also ordered the green papaya salad. It was fresh, delicious, and had a nice kick to it, so if you're not a fan of spicy food, be warned! The summer rolls were also very good. The only downside was the peanut sauce. It had a stronger hoisin flavor than I prefer. I personally like peanut sauce that's creamier and has more of a peanut butter base. I also tried the Thai steamed dumplings. They were okay, but nothing particularly memorable. They came out stuck together and were topped with crunchy garlic bits. Unfortunately, they weren't my favorite dish of the meal. The prices were very reasonable, especially for the quality and portion sizes. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed, even though he was the only one working and was clearly busy. From what I understand, this is a semi-family-owned restaurant (correct me if I'm wrong), and you can really tell that everything is made with care and attention. The restaurant also has two beautiful saltwater aquariums that are relaxing to watch while you enjoy your meal, which adds to the overall atmosphere. One thing to keep in mind is the restaurant's hours. They don't always match what's listed online. They have a takeout-only period from 5:00-6:00 p.m., so it's worth checking before you go. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be back to try more items on the menu. I'll be sure to update my review after our next visit!

Admittedly, I was skeptical when I saw the limited menu and some of the options (I LOVE Thai food and have had variations in many parts of the world). BUT I was encouraged to know there were at least two vegan entree options on the menu. No. Never again. Not at all. The spring rolls were the most minuscule versions I've ever had. The casing was weird, to say the least, and the flavor was barely there. We ordered a broccoli entree to share. Check out the photos for yourself. WHERE IS THE BROCCOLI?!? My friend's meal was BLAND. My meal was better but the peppers were almost raw. The BEST thing we had was the roti. ROTI. At a Thai restaurant. The absolute best thing on the menu was roti?! No meatless curry options with ample veggies. Not one rice dish, served with veggies. Lots of chicken ‍. Lots of fish oil ‍. Roti was the best thing we ate. And don't even bother with the purple rice. Absolutely disappointed. The server was kind although our 2nd order of roti went to the wrong table - they gladly accepted it with no questions asked - because she was conducting what looked like an interview in between checking on our table. If you've read my reviews you know anything less than 4-5 stars is RARE. I honestly don't understand what happened during my experience at this restaurant but definitely will not be returning.
