    Pho P11. Spicy Satay Seafood
    Lynda D.

My mom and I were very impressed with the very large menu of this place and unique menu items. I have never ordered seafood pho before or have ever had the urge to but it sounded so interesting that I had to try. Strangely the flavors worked very well together and I liked it a lot. The restaurant is decorated very nicely and I like that the store is open quite late which is why we were able to stop by to dine in. We will be coming back to try the rest of the menu.

A random gem we happened to come across. My friend and I was just driving down the road heading home to Baltimore and we were hungry. We saw the sign and randomly made a turn into the shopping center. They were closing in 30 mins and still welcomed us inside. We also had bubble tea with us and they said we can still sit down. They were so nice! We got our food and ate all of it within 30 minutes! I am so thankful for them and the food was so freaking delicious! I loved every second of it! As an elite, I highly recommend this restaurant for some super delicious pho!

Ambiance 2.5/5 The inside is pretty big with plenty of tables but there are a lot that are closed off. They do have a lot of nice decor like a fountain and a fake flame in the middle of the restaurant but they didn't really stand out. It seemed like they used part of the restaurant as storage. The interior has a lot of potential but right now it's just average. Service 2.5/5 I got a seat quickly and the waiter took my order pretty fast but the service was pretty meh. The waiter didn't really come check on me after taking my order but I didn't really need much here. Didn't have much contact with the staff besides taking my order getting my food, and paying my bill. Garlic Crispy Chicken Wings ($13) 3/5 The wings were pretty good. The skin was crispy and the meat was tender and juicy. I didn't really taste any garlic but the glaze was sweet and had a honey like consistency. The order came with 5 wings that were average size. It is expensive for just 5 wings but tastewise it was solid. Pho Deluxe - Large ($19) 3.5/5 The deluxe pho had a good amount of meat and definitely felt deluxe. The meat was tender and chewy and the short rib was particularly good. The broth had a bit of a tangy taste which was unusually for me. I've also never seen pho brought out in a bowl on a tray with the onions and cilantro on the side. The noodles were average pho noodles but there was a decent portion. This is definitely not than an average bowl of pho but I think the extra meat makes it worth it.

There was only 2 tables when I got there. We got our appetizer before we even got water. Had to ask for the side onions 2 times after we got everything else. The deluxe pho was fine came out in the usual bowls. Not sure why one came out in reg bowl and one came out in stone pot..?!‍ They shouldn't have used a stone pot for my short rib pho... Unless they make the noodles al dente or put to the side. So soggy when I use chopsticks to pull the noodle up it just breaks. Had to dump out most the noodles so it wouldn't get more soggy and soak in all the soup. Both pho have short rib in it.... ‍‍ Bhanmi was also very small barely no meat or veggies. I did like my drink (Dragon Fruit Yogurt) though We asked if they changed the cook. They said no.. shouldn't change what wasn't broken... Been coming here for years on and off... Not sure I would go back anymore

I used to come to pho hot 4 times a week, it has changed a lot...some good some bad. However, it's one of the pho spots that stay open layer than most and works for me when i have a late night craving. The oxtail pho is great! 10/10, and they serve it in a stone clay pot so it stays hot the entire time you eat it. If you like it that is. I believe they do that because it's a little higher price, so that's good. I don't like my soup staying extremely hot so I would prefer a regular bowl, but I wasn't mad since it tasted yummy. The place is ginormous so they always got space for you. Service sucks, but whatever loli don't expect much from a pho spot... I've only had a nice experiences and service at fancy viet places.

Anyone who has lived in Annandale, Virginia knows the area is affectionally known by locals as "Asiandale", and for good reason. Vietnamese restaurants, stores and shops are all over the place. Clearly, this is a great spot to find tasty Vietnamese food and this place is no exception to this notion. Try it. If you like Vietnamese food you'll probably enjoy it.

Pho with rare steak and tendon. The broth was standard, and the condiments served on the side.

I went here on a weekday and had a large bowl of pho, which hit the spot. It was decent, but a bit more expensive than your typical bowl. The restaurant has a walk-up counter where you can order boba drinks. The location is convenient, so drop in if you need a quick fix.

This dish contained soft succulent cuts of savory beef over perfectly cooked pasta al dente. I have tried several dishes and have been pleased every time!

One of the few places open late night for some vietnamese comfort food! They used to open much later, pre-covid. But I'll take their current 10PM closing. Lots of families go here for the large tables and open space. Service is fairly quick too. Just order by the number on the menu if your vietnamese pronunciation is shaky. My go-to dishes are the beef pho, any number is good. Grilled pork with vermicelli, or broken rice. Lots of shredded garden veggies. It's like eating crisp, zesty salad with chilled rice noodles, or hot rice. The nuoc cham adds a nice citrusy zing with underlying umami when poured over everything. Love the Vietnamese beef stew cooked with lemon grass, carrots and big chunks of tender beef. You have a choice of crispy vietnamese baguette, or vermicelli. I usually go for the baguette, AND order a side of egg noodles to go with the copious amounts of stew. That's a big meal I do not do often, but so good when I do! If you'r enot already well hydrated from the pho broth, a tall glass of Salted Lemonade is a refreshing choice, or a vietnamese coffee both hot or cold. We ordered various Pho, over all, the broth is good, a little salty so we added lot of lemon and it tasted less salt. Service is on point, the lady who took orders was attentive, repeated what we order to avoid misunderstanding which is great. Food came out fast. The place is huge, looking from outside, we couldn't believe how big this restaurant is, nice clean and with soft lighting. We will come back to try other dished.

They close at midnight which is a plus. Big menu, lots of seating and football games on tv. I liked this spot and would come back again

Good pho here - the broth was quite flavorful! The spring rolls were also solid. I came here pretty late at night with a group of four and they accommodated us well. It's nice to have an option for pho that's open on the later side (until 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays and 10pm on all other days). The menu here was more expansive than other pho restaurants I've been to in the area - most pho places tend to serve pho and not much else, but this place had banh mi, bun bo hue, and many other items on the menu, which has me wanting to come back and try them!

The Beef Stew with Rice Noodles is delicious!

They have a variety of spice levels, and the medium is the perfect amount to get a little spice without overpowering the flavors of the broth. The banchan they offer for every table is limited but some of the best I've had. They're simple but perfectly compliment the flavorful soup, and are good at cutting through the richness. The vegetable pancake is delicious and pairs well with everything, but kind of a pricey add on with a large portion size if you're alone or with another person so I often skip it even though I love it. It's also a small building so it can get kind of loud inside and feel a bit crowded during peak hours. But it at least stays very clean despite the amount of people coming through in such a small space.

We are always on the hunt for great Korean food and Lighthouse Tofu was a…read morerestaurant that kept coming up in recommendations.  We headed over and found a very large and spacious dining area which was simply decorated but very light and clean.  We ordered the seafood pancake to start.  The small pancake was actually pretty large!  It easily fed 3-4.  The pancake was nice and crispy and was one of the favorite things we ate although there didn't seem to be too much seafood.  No matter - yum!  We then had the bibimbap which was tasty but as it wasn't a dolsot bibimbap, it didn't have the crispy rice that is so delicious.  We still enjoyed it.  The Jeyuk Bokkeum was tasty although the meat seemed a little stringy and all interconnected so it was hard to get a bite's worth without dragging a huge clump off of the plate.  We were looking forward to sampling the combination tofu soup which is one of the dishes most often mentioned.  As people said, it came to the table bubbling like lava!  Wow!  It was so hot that it steamed up by camera lens and when we cracked the egg on top, it started to cook right away.  The wait was for it to cool down so that we wouldn't burn ourselves. Though it was tasty, it didn't have as much flavor as I had hoped.  We ordered it medium spicy as we were warned not to have the spice overwhelm the taste of the broth (we like spicy so it wasn't a matter of degree of heat.)  We brought some home as leftovers so we will see if it has a little more oomph after resting for a day.  The service was good and quick and we appreciated that extra utensils, napkins and to go containers were really easily accessible.  The lot is small when compared to the number of tables inside.  But, as the sign on the door states, you can park at the church across the street.

We tried A&J and liked it a lot!…read more This is not a typical Chinese-American restaurant. A&J has quite a few pleasantly unexpected dishes. Service was welcoming and efficient. On a mid-Saturday afternoon, the restaurant was about ¾ full. We started out with the Wonton Soup and the Spicy Wonton soup. The Wonton soup is just okay, but the Spicy Wonton Soup is wonderful and highly recommended. For another appetizer, we ordered the Scallion Pancake. It has a nice dense texture and I really liked it. It would've been even better if it came with a dipping sauce. We also ordered the pickled cabbage. It was good, though lacking seasoning. Our first entrée was ground pork in a delicious sauce accompanied by sprouts and thinly sliced cucumber (or was that zucchini?). Recommended! Our second entrée was a Pan Fried Beef Bun. The beef was flavorful but the bread was kinda dry. Our last entrée was the Beef Wraps. These were great! Who woulda thunk that beef and fresh carrots would go together so well?! Oh, the chili sauce in a jar on the table is extra tasty. At the end, before we got our check, we were given a plate with sliced cucumbers in a light tasty sesame chili sauce. Excellent! But the hot tea was an epic fail. It had no flavor whatsoever. Peeking inside the teapot, all I could see was a micro tiny tea bag floating or sort of sinking. One other thing I kinda don't want to bring up in light of the great food we enjoyed, but need to in the spirit of full disclosure, is to mention that A&J shares space in the building with several other businesses. The restrooms are common to all the businesses. A&J needs to lean hard on the property owner/manager to do a deep cleaning in those restrooms. I'll leave it at that.
