I used to be a regular at this restaurant and their boba doesn't taste as good as it used to. It tastes super watered down. I used to come here all the time when it was just a bunch of teens working there and they made the best boba. I usually get the pho dac biet bowl and their sandwiches but the last few visits, the pho rarely had any meats in it. I was also sad that they took the Banh Mi off the menu, it was so good. Showed up around 3:30pm on Saturday and there's a paper sign on the door that says closed until 5 while the "open" sign is flashing in the window. Waitress tells me they will reopen at 5 for dinner service while she was serving other people inside eating. First impressions are key and this place didn't meet basic standards. Yes the food is excellent! (Had a bun dish) But let me tell you something that excited me more than the food...the cult following of people who frequent this establishment and how the staff all knew their names and joked/talked with them. I found a place in Odessa for Korean BBQ ribs!! Yeah!! This place is nice and cozy. Nestled in a shopping center but when you walk this place has it's own cool vibe. Ribs were delicious. Very, very good! Previous reviews talked about how the Pho broth was really good and another that recommended the Thit Nuong. Both were absolutely right! I ordered the Round eye and brisket Pho and the broth was exceptional as were the ingredients. In NC, Thit Nuong's american Name is Vietnamese BBQ pork, so I'm glad now to know it's proper name but it's my husbands favorite and I would agree it's the best I've ever had as well! I got the number 10 medium for $10 which is you get what you paid for. The serving size is great, taste amazing. The number 10 has different beefs like brisket and steak. And i have to say that it was the best because at other places the beef tends to be tougher and harder to eat. While here is was soft and amazing. They were also super fast even though it was saturday. They had our pho ready about 5 minutes after ordering or less. Definitely recommended. read more

This place is pretty good. The most important thing is that it's AUTHENTIC. It's expensive for Vietnamese pho though. I asked for an extra order of meatballs, the server told me $5, and I know they get a bag of meatballs around $3-$5. Over all it was very good authentic place to get your pho fix. read more

Soooooo good! Had the beef pho and it was delicious! Just enough noodles, just enough broth, just enough beef. Didn't need to dress it up with sprouts or mint, pho was able to hold its own by itself. Broth was delicious and seasoned perfectly. If you follow me at all you know I take pho seriously because it's one of my favorite and pho house did not disappoint. This place is AMAZING! I called my order in at 5:15 to be ready at 6:45pm and when I arrived there was zero wait. The lady on the phone was nice & respectful. She took my order without any problems. The gentleman at the check out counter was nice & very professional. I got home & my broth was seperate from the raw noodles/meat/veggies. I just dumped it all into a huge bowl & devoured it! I was excited to see this in Odessa but unfortunately I won't be going back. The employees were very friendly and nice and the food was fast but it has absolutely no flavor. We did a to go order and used every sauce they have plus our own and it still taste like water. I asked about nutritional info and they couldn't tell me for sure. This is my favorite place in Odessa to get boba tea! I love getting plain milk tea with black boba but if you like yours fruity then I would also recommend the mango fruit tea with strawberry boba. They have dozens of flavors and combinations to choose from so you can get yours just the way you like it. You can even decide the sweetness. You know what, it is good for what it is. A Vietnamese restaurant with proper Vietnamese recipes (doesn't matter who cooks it but they are Vietnamese) in west Texas. I do agree that it's expensive for authentic food but again, I have different standards and expectations out here than in big cities. The pho and vermicelli are very decent. They would be better with much more vegetables and herbs. The cafe sua da is on the sweet side which is better than on the bitter side. It would be nice to see them expand their menu to include banh mi - at authentic prices, less than $4! - and vegetarian options with non-fish sauce condiments. The friendly and attentive waitstaff make this place even more likable. read more

We had lunch here today and it was amazing! We enjoyed hot tea, egg rolls, and 2 orders of medium beef pho (the portions are huge) and took about half of it home with us. The staff were attentive and great, even though they were very busy. This is a new place with owners and staff that truly care, we were thanked several times for coming in and eating with them. We love eating at locally owned restaurants and will definitely be back!! We are Pho enthusiasts and coming from Houston and having gone to many Pho restaurants, this is one is pretty good especially for being in Odessa. I'd like to have more veggies and herbs on the side along with some more lime but you can always just ask. The broth was delicious. The bowl is well served. The egg rolls were delicious and the service was great. They also customized a kids Pho with just broth and noodles for us. We've gotten it to go also and at some places, it just doesn't taste the same when you get home, this one did. Overall, great service, great Phò, nice environment. This place is alright, still pretty new and figuring things out. The pho is light compared to it's competitors, which makes it sit better in your stomach for lunch. However it's not as flavorful as others. But I really have to give this place it's dues, it is trying to be that trendy place and that's what this town needs. The atmosphere is friendly and the servers are very helpful. One main complaint I had with this place was the aesthetic of the place (which isn't quite a big deal, but I thought worth mentioning.). It's a very modern place from the sign and the people running it, but the inside only looks half done. The walls are bland, there are just tvs on the wall, and the check out desk... needs some spice. My second visit, and both times have been equally satisfying. Staff is nice and attentive, they have Thai tea (yay!), and the pho is great! The rare round steak is what I've been missing in my life.
