This is a great choice for Pho soups. I don't know if it was here before, but there is a sign outside that says it's under new management. Regardless, this is our second time here. This restaurant is quiet and the music that plays over is not overbearing. It's soothing. The inside is spacious. If everyone were to fill the restaurant tables, I wouldn't feel crowded. Everyone could comfortably eat without bumping into one another. The food tastes great. My wife has ordered beef Pho. I don't even like to order soups but I tasted my wife's Pho and I ended up finishing what she couldn't on her own. It's a healthy serving. I ordered the combination fried rice. Though this is a Vietnamese restaurant, this fried rice tasted like that which you would typically find in any Chinese restaurant. However, since everything is made a la carte, it's more fresh and hasn't been sitting in hot lamps for a while. I ordered mine without vegetables. Special to the fried rice was the sausage. It gives it a unique flavor. Try something different than what the Rio Grande Valley offers. This restaurant is Pho the win! read more

The beef noddle soup was decent, but I will not be going back. The service was horrible..... This is the type of restaurant that in my family we call 'pinche'. On their menu is has a picture of the noddle soup with a side plate of all the veggies to throw in your soup. (Like every other pho place). We ordered 3 entres all which had the same picture of the veggie plate on the side of each. We got our food and only received one small plate. I didn't think it was a big deal so I asked the lady whom I assume was the owner and she acted like she couldn't understand me and just told me okok and left (keep in mind we had already spoken before this encounter). I didn't even care about the veggie plate at that point, it was the fact that she totally dismissed me and completely ignored my table after that simple request. & I know she didn't forget because I kept looking at her like if I was waiting... and there was hardly any other people there. Sketchy service, and too expensive for what you get. At least the place was clean. I'm from Houston and I love Pho. Two things they didn't know and maybe would have been honest with me or at least gave better service. 1) No soda fountain, you get a single can of coke and a cup of ice. 2) Server isn't exactly friendly - she takes your order and that's it, no more service. Like buffets give you more. 3) Big red flag - when I pointed out that my #8 did not have ANY tenderloin meat, she pointed out the tendons (cartilage slices)... well pretty sure I was right about them going cheap on the meal because I noticed the ugly faces I got from the man and lady near the kitchen after - can you say busted? I had a craving for Pho! Now I didn't want to dress up or go "out" so I called in an order for pick up. They were polite when they took my order and nice when I called that I was a bit lost (found it). My food was ready when I got there, I didn't have to wait!!!! One of the best Vietnamese restaurants in the valley. I first tried it about 3 years ago, and I go every other week for pad Thai or pho ga. The staff is friendly, and the service is quick as well. I came here without having Pho. I am kind of curios on how the Pho will tase the next time I visit and decide to have it. The service was not very friendly when we ordered and asked for things. I was not able to get a substitute for chicken on my dish, but that was okay because I had the pork vermicelli with vegetables and ended up liking it. There could have been a few more vegetables but it was okay. They had Pad Thai and it tasted a little different than what I am used to. I'd say it tased more like a Chinese noodle dish. I probably won't have that again. Not sure if this is because this is a Vietnamese restaurant that it had a different taste. Their spring rolls were also okay. I'm giving this 4 stars only because the wait staff went MIA after serving us lol I kept looking back at the table they were sitting at to see if anybody would come refill my water, but they only came once we were finished eating. Now for why it's a total 5 Star meal and why you should come and try it out.... first off, they brought our food out to us not even 5 minutes after we ordered.. and I was hangry so that was enough to impress me.. and to top it off the first spoonful of the broth was heavenly. Their pho is prepared so well, you can tell that they don't cut corners. The meat they use is great quality too. I've had pho at other restaurants in the valley and the broth doesn't taste right and the meat they use at other restaurants has a weird chewy fake texture. My amazing Vietnamese sister-in-law has made us pho, and I've tried her mom's too, and have also had pho at an authentic Vietnamese restaurant in Houston and this place tastes just like that.
