Mini appetizer consist of 1 of shrimp spring roll, egg roll, shrimp eggroll, crab Rangoon, potsticker. The most decent one is the spring roll. The egg roll was my least favorite- it tasted like one of the Chinese fast food's egg roll ( not sure how else to describe it). The rest were just ok. Pho with rare steak and brisket was really good. The broth was a little oily but has really great flavor. Plenty of meat and rice noodles. That is a plus plus for the restaurant. Pho Kobee tries to sell itself as a pho joint, but it's really just "asian food" with pho also on the menu. The food we has was all solid. Honestly. It wasn't great. But it wasn't bad. It was good food. And if I were in the area and someone wanted to go, I wouldn't be the one shouting it down - but on my own I would look for a place with more character. If you are in the mood for pho, or asian cuisine in general, Pho Kobee is a decent choice. If you want truly authentic food or bold flavors, however, I'd give this one a pass. read more

A little shocked why this place has such a good rating, we saw the yelp rating when we moved close to here and have been looking forward to try it out. First off walking in to the restaurant there was no one here to greet or seat any of us, we came in behind a group of people that were waiting as well. When the large group of us were finally spotted after somehow being completely invisible to the staff we were just pointed at and then pointed to a table like an elementary cafeteria. The table we were fingered we sat at for about 15 minutes with no drinks and only 1 menu for the the 3 of us. The spring rolls were mediocre. The pho broth was just ok too. We also got the pork and egg banh mi, which came with raw sliced onions rather than the pickled radish, which is new to me. There were carrots in there, but it didn't taste pickled, just raw carrots. The raw sliced onions was too pungent and overwhelming that I couldn't even enjoy the pork flavor. Went here during lunch and got the Spring rolls and rice plate called bo luc lac, which translates to shaken beef. The peanut sauce for the spring rolls was really good. Spring rolls were decent too. I like romaine or green leaf lettuce in my spring rolls over iceberg but it was still good. The rice palate was good! Flavorful and even my coworker thought it was tasty. I called at 12:09 to place a to-go order and was told that it would be 20-35 minutes. I did not get my order until 12:51 after waiting inside forever. On top of the long wait time, my order was completely wrong. I specifically asked for a chicken vermicelli bowl with NO peanuts and I received a pork vermicelli bowl with peanuts. I just want to start this review off saying that I will still probably give them a second chance and update this whenever I decide to go again. Moving On... Before placing my order with them I spent maybe an hour on yelp looking for a restaurant for Lunch. I finally found them and I read their menu and ordered accordingly. When I called and placed my order which consisted of 2 items. The calamari appetizer and the Honey Walnut Shrimp rice plate. The woman who answered the phone told me it would be almost 30 dollars for just those two items..!! I was a little shocked but I figured I might as well try it because I already placed the order. I went to pick it up a few minutes later armed with pictures of their menu that I got from yelp and went in to get the food. Before I paid I mentioned that the price is different then what was shown on the menu. I think maybe 4 different people walked up to talk to me about it but at the end the did not honor that price and I didn't want to argue so I bit the bullet. On to the food itself... The calamari was ok. Maybe if they offered a sweet chili sauce instead of regular spicy mayo I may have actually enjoyed it. The Honey Walnut Shrimp was terrible. The fried rice it came with lacked seasoning and there was some weird salad mix included. I was extremely disappointed with the Honey Walnut Shrimp. I should not even be including the word Honey because it had zero. It was regular shrimp with a weird glaze on it that tasted overly seasoned and not sweet. It was not great. I'll probably give it to my kid later today to finish it. Overall, I am still willing to give them another chance only because when I went in there the atmosphere was nice. Maybe they have better-tasting food on the menu but being a pescatarian makes my food choices tough. Try it if you want but I would probably eat inside. read more

After reading all the reviews I was debating whether to come here or not, my regular place in Irving is just too far away for me to actually sit and enjoy my pho during my hour lunch break. So being a big fan of pho, decided to come try it despite all the reviews about it being expensive. The pho was really good I enjoyed it and its only $2 more than the place I go to in Irving, so that's a win. I think people are just used to seeing 6.95 for a small at most places but if $2 saves me time and gas during my lunch break I don't mind paying for it. I ordered grilled pork spring rolls, these were different they are cut for you which is nice but the appearance of the grilled pork is not the same to what I'm used to, usually it has more of a saucy grilled bbq flavor. And you get 2 for about $5 those to me were expensive and won't be getting them again. To drink I ordered a natural lemonade, it was amazing!! And it came out in a beautiful decorated glass with lime circles and a pink straw, very beachy. When I got my check I was shocked that the lemonade was almost $4. My total was about $18 without tip. I liked the options they provide, staff was attentive, but I'd have to give low marks on the overall taste. Having been to many other "Pho" restaurants I can say that they've ranked lowest on their fresh spring rolls. No flavor and too much lettuce was the primary source of low markings. They were like a salad roll and not tightly rolled like I used to. The hot n sour soup wasn't hot or sour and lacked flavor as well. I come here at least once per week for lunch. It's not perfect, but they are very consistently good. The beer can be flat at times, the order can be slightly wrong, the service can be slow sometimes. The damn good pho always balances out anything bad that happened! The #44 is the bomb, as are the grilled shrimp spring rolls. I'll keep coming back. read more

I get sat down quickly then sit for 10-15 minutes while I watch my waitress/waiter clean tables, go to kitchen bring out food, fill drink glasses. Meanwhile I am waiting on them to take my order.
