DN1 Grilled Pork & Egg Roll was delicious! We also ordered the SW2 Grilled pork sandwich. The bread was super fresh and toasted, all ingredients inside were proportioned accurate and had great taste. Would get again. Last, we had the P4 Pho Well done Brisket. The soup is well made, and deep in flavor yet not over powering. The meat was tender and full of flavor. Often times beef becomes rubbery in the soup, not in this case. This place is a highly recommended. Coming from twin cities Mn with 4 star review though it was going to be great but turns out the pho was a big waste of money. The broth wasn't really good which cost $16 and for the portion you pay for is too over price. I suggest if you come from big cities don't go here. You will regret it. Plus their food taste worst than home made. Example. Their chicken wing is too over flower and fry and tastes greasy and nasty. 5 piece for $11, tyson microwave chicken wing is 10 time's better. Spring roll tastes like crap. My home made tastes way better. 2 piece $7. Too over price. This place is just over price. If you don't believe me GL. I think the reason it got 4 star because most Americans don't know real Asian foods. read more

I went to Pho L'Amour because 1. I got a coupon for them in the mail, 2. they are new and 3. my friend and I like to try new pho places. It was very empty but that was not a worry as my friend and I were meeting at 4:30/5pm and Pho L'Amour Cafe is out in Brookfield/New Berlin area. We both got pho and enjoyed it quite a lot. I believe that a good pho is in the broth and I found that their broth was a little lacking in general flavor and I had to add more spices and hoisin sauce than normal to get it to the flavor I liked. The staff was very kind though and attentive. I did notice that they had some bahn mi's, which my boyfriend is quite fond of them so maybe I will take him next time he wants to try a pho place and we will update the review to include the bahn mi as well. read more

Newer clean inside. asked server for recommendations and to no avail she was unable to give suggestions or explanation. The dumplings had mistery mush. And deep fried not steamed. We could not tell what was in the egg rolls. DO NOT get soup boul it was Supposed to have brisket beef steak Meatball Ribs and what it ended up having was shaved beef. Corn meal Ball. And one slice of Small round bone that it was attached to meet fat. Very disappointing All the food is pre made it came to our table within 3 minutes of ordering. The woman cook was in the prep window Eating a rib nothing on her hair and she came out into the restaurant with street clothes and No apron no jacket nothing. she was the woman preparing our food. There are four things I look for in a restaurant. First is the quality of the food, second is the ambiance, third is the service, and finally the cost. I felt the food was a bit off target. The phô had a better-than-usual quality of beef, but was sweet. The shrimp fried rice had good shrimp, but was extremely bland. The restaurant was out of tapioca for its bubble tea. I thought the spring rolls were a disgrace -- chopped lettuce with a wrap. The term "cafe" may better describe the facility, but without the charm of a cafe. The interior is more like a school cafeteria. Hard surfaces, basic tables and chairs. The service was adequate but neither friendly nor pleasant. Finally there is the cost. The prices are about 20-30% above those at good phô restaurants. We have gone to Phô One24 several times -- it is better on every measure and less expensive. We tried Phô L'Amour because it had good ratings and was far closer to home. We won't return. read more

I usually don't leave reviews but felt like I needed to! I recently moved back and was looking for a good pho place. This place exceeded expectations! I got the steak pho and it was incredible, one of the best pho dishes I've had! I also got the chicken pad Thai which also was great with lots of flavor. The noodles were rice/ramen noodles, not the regular thicker noodles. It didn't change the taste of the dish though, but something to note! The place was clean and service was fast. Our regular go-to Pho shop is closed on Mondays so we got to try this new place tonight and it did not disappoint! We were greeted right away, shown to our table, and brought waters immediately -- our server even brought our toddler a plastic cup of water with lid and straw without us asking. He told us about the free Thai Tea or Soda special right away and gave us a few moments to get settled. We ordered the tea, spring rolls, egg rolls, ginger pork, and pho and everything was delicious! I went here because it wasn't too far from my hotel, never expecting anything out of the ordinary. I was so wrong because the food is outstanding. Best pho I've ever had, and I've ordered it often and made my own. The pad Thai was also superb. If I didn't live four hours away, this would be a weekly go-to. Very fresh food. The vegetables with the chicken teriyaki were cooked well and had the right amount of crunch. I would have liked more seasoning on it but I would just ask for that next time. I go here or pick up 2-3 times a month. This is some of the best food I've ever had. The spring rolls are amazing, the peanut sauce is to die for. The chicken pho is really great and they give you huge portions! I usually get their pad Thai for takeout, it's hands down the best pad Thai I've ever had. 5 stars for my pho - why would you order anything else?! 3 stars for my SO's pineapple fried rice (but IMO that's his fault for not ordering the meal that is literally the name of the restaurant ) We ordered our meal for carry out. And though you might feel a little resistance when you see the price per item, each dish includes enough food for 2 meals and it reheated well. The pho was delicious! And so nice in the winter. They packaged all of the components separately so I could flavor the pho to my liking just as I would in a restaurant. I would definitely get the pho from them in the future! It's been a while since I went to this restaurant last time, it was before the pandemic started. I liked their food, although their prices were a bit high. Today, I ordered food though Grubhub, which later notified that the food was ready for pickup. I got there about 5min after I received the notification, but the greeter wasn't even aware of my order. She told me to wait a couple of min, but my food came out about 10 minutes after that. Usually, it takes about that much time or sometimes even less to order a pho and get it at typical Vietnamese restaurants in a non-pandemic situation, and also considering that they weren't busy at all today, I think they started my order after I got there. Well, that might have been caused by some miscommunication between the restaurant and Grubhub, so it's no big deal. Now, about the food, I ordered several noodle soups. They tasted decent. However, the portions seemed smaller than before. Maybe it was because the take-out containers are smaller than the regular bowls they use for dine-in. Regardless, the portion, especially the amount of meat seemed substantially less than when I dined in before. Considering their prices, I wasn't very happy about that. Overall, I'd give 3.5 stars for my experience today. I will probably visit the restaurant again for dine-in in the future, but if the amount of meat doesn't get better, I will go to other Vietnamese restaurants. read more

Super Pho! We anxiously awaited the opening of this restaurant in our neighborhood. Friendly staff (Nee is great), comfortable atmosphere. Pho is great but try their orange chicken, fried rice and egg rolls too. Everything is good. Portions huge, great value. Try the iced Vietnamese coffee. It's life changing! The Pho here is ok. Nothing special. C+ grade. Service is also not that great. Slow and hardly refilled our water. The signature Vietnamese pork chop dish isn't good. Not even a bit of char on it. I am no expert in Asian food, but I do love my Orange Chicken. When I was here with some friends I ordered the "R4. Sweet & Sour Orange Chicken with Steamed Rice" and I could not tell what the sauce was but it did not taste anything like the Sweet & Sour or Orange Chicken I am used to. I went to ask why the sauce was yellow and to see if I was going crazy, she just said that it was just the way they make it. I sit here writing this review and I am almost certain that it was "S4.
