Absolutely delicious Viet food. This spot may not get mainstream hype but it certainly has a loyal following with a steady stream of customers. But even during prime time dinner, we'll always be able to get seats. The best bang for the buck has to be their ribs pho! For $22~, it can easily feed two! We felt bad to just order a dish to share between us two so we ordered another dishe and take out the rest. However, we did notice a nearby table did exactly that and I guess the staff didn't mind at all. If you scroll and look at my recent photos of the rib pho dish, they've chopped the rib up into smaller pieces so it's easier to eat and they also provide scissors so you can cut through the meat and take out. We couldn't finish it so we packed it home and air fry the ribs for more texture. We especially like the clear vermicelli from their egg and clear noodle section. This might be my new favourite Vietnamese restaurant!!!! I haven't been to this area in a decade, and I'm so glad that I paid it a visit today! This area has so many Vietnamese places!!! It's the most expensive, like $21 CAD, but you get two massive beef ribs. The meat is so tender. The pho broth is so good. I highly recommend trying this, and share if you can! If this is too much, they do sell only one rib (still comes with broth, but no noodles) for $11 CAD. Other pho and com tam dishes were great. They have so many options! They had some specials on the wall. The signs only had the Vietnamese name and a photo, so it might be hard to understand what the dishes are. The servers were nice and spoke English though. There are also many sauces on each table. The utensils are self-serve. They will bring you the bill, but you have to pay at the cashier by the entrance. Even the Vietnamese coffee was delicious. My fam and I ordered the Pho & Bun Bo Hue. Pho was great and was generous w the meat portion; also had tendon and a meatball which is supposed to come w it, but other places tend to leave those out, so it was nice to see it was added. The Bun Bo Hue was fine, it was generous as well on portion size, only downfall was the broth was a bit underwhelming. Although it did still taste authentic, the broth could definitely use some more flavor! Location is open until midnight, which is good convenience for those who are having a later dinner or late night grub. The space is quite tight inside and can feel a bit cramped if it's a full house. Parking is ample and available in the lot and location is easy to find! Staff was quick, attentive, and friendly. We also didn't have to wait too long for the food, which was great. God damn it, this is the best Pho I have ever had in the city. To be honest, this is the second time I have been here but the first time I ordered just a regular pho ga (chicken soup) so I wasn't mind blown BUT this time I went for the flagship dishes. The bone in pork rib soup and the bone in beef rib soups and I cannot believe how ridiculously good these two dishes are. Extremely good value too since each dish was roughly $20. The service was superb, the waitress took the time to recommend us the most authentic way of enjoying my ribs. The owner of the establishment was also super kind and generous with my daughter. She even pulled out a balloon and made her a puppy lol I don't think that's something that can be expected but it was a really nice gesture that was greatly appreciated. The only negative about this place is the location, which is why I gave it a 3 star atmosphere rating since it's located at a plaza in Jane and Finch. Unfortunately there is a fear factor associated with how safe the neighbourhood is, we looked at it as an adventure and the food was well worth it. read more

Pho is one of the best I've ever had! Real authentic and big portions especially the meat. Why am I giving it such a low rating? EVERY. SINGLE. TIME I've been here (10+) they overcharge almost an extra $10-15 on our bill. When writing down what you want, INCLUDE the price beside the item, that way they can't make up some random price. I think this is a Ma restaurant. I didn't get the impression that Pa was around! I was on a trip in the area and wanted something warm and close to the hotel. I was nervous about the overcharge comments per other reviews. However, I am glad I went anyway. I had the chicken Pho and it was delicious. The broth and flavour were very good. Overall round up to 4 Star. It's in the seedier part of town. I just came because of the wow factor of the whole beef rib soup noodle. Wasn't disappointed, the rib is boiled to very tender texture, unfortunately the msg is a bit over the edge. The environment feels like the old downtown Vietnamese restaurant. But the herb they provide is more variety then the standard restaurant, and fresh herb is what makes this restaurant stand out. It's been a while since we were completely satisfied with our restaurant choice for dinner, this was truly a delightful experience. We ordered the seafood soup, the veggie fried spring rolls and the che 3 me dessert, I would highly recommend all three of these dishes. The staff were so friendly and welcoming almost like having dinner at a friends house. The food was quick to arrive and the dessert was full of flavour not just sugar. We were also pleasantly surprised to find more than three treasures in this dessert cup, it actually also came with the artificial pomegranate and some tapioca bubbles. Don't mind the Conditional public health warning. I decided to go in & order. The place was very clean & the staff that greeted me...super helpful & very nice! Found this place on Yelp as we were in the area after the National Bank Open. It had good ratings and thought that we would try even though it was not in the greatest area around Jane and Finch. The beef rib pho at $20 was very reasonable and they give you 2 large ribs with lots of. Beef. The pho broth was a bit on the sweeter side but was quite good. It was one size and we shared that with the large size rice rolls with Vietnamese sausage between 2. It was more than enough for 2 and we brought one beef rib home. There are lots of condiments available from pickled garlic to hot chilies to hot chilli sauce to an XO type sauce which tasted great with the beef rib. The beef rib came with scissors to but the beef of the rib - it was that tender. The rice rolls were ok and the Vietnamese sausage was ok. The beef ball was not a very good texture as it was dry. Hence the lower rating. If it was just the beef rib pho, it would have been 4 stars. read more

We really weren't impressed with this place. We got the rare beef pho and cold rolls. The pho was tasty, but the broth was very salty, and the beef was really tough. The cold rolls were a big disappointment. We didn't get any dipping sauce, and only after we had finished, we saw that the table next to us got some. The cold rolls were also very dry and quite flavorless. And why was the carrot just in a pile next to the rolls? How do we eat it with the cold rolls?? Sorry, but just not worth the drive here. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a warm welcome and smiles. I was provided with water while I looked through the menu and you are required to write your order down on the sheet that is provided at the table. Overall the place was very clean. My food took approximately 10 minutes to be prepared, it was hot and fresh and super flavorful. I ordered a vermicelli dish called Bun Thap Cam (416 on the menu). My spring rolls were crispy and delicious and overall I thoroughly enjoyed my dish. I would give my overall experience a five star however I don't like the fact that they only take cash at this establishment. It's a bit of an inconvenience having to get cash from the ATM next-door. I'm sad that I have to give this place this rating as my experience was not great. First off, keeping in mind that this place is located on the ghetto west end, you can't expect much in terms of experience but you would at least expect the food to be great. Going in it was very busy which is a good sign. I got seated at a dirty table which they came and 'cleaned' with a napkin from the dispenser on the table. Then all they did was sweep everything from the table to the floor. Then they gave us the menu with a small order sheet to write our order but forgot the pen. I ordered a large Pho Dac Biet but when the lady was bringing it she spilled half it on the floor and herself. Instead of refilling the bowl and cleaning it she brought the bowl with beef and soup hanging off the edges to our table and served it this way. Not only was it super messy but very uncomfortable to eat this way. If you look at the photos you will see that the lady is on the floor cleaning the mess... with her bare hands. The coffee was not drip coffee. It was done through their espresso machine and took them 2 mins to make and serve. Then when the bill came, i placed my card on the tray and said they only take cash. No signs were displayed of this. Good thing I understood a bit of vietnamese because i over heard them telling to the rest of the staff loudly that "this guy did not bring cash"... and "Chuh oy he should be more prepared"... how the F*!# was i supposed to know they took cash only if they didn't even display a sign about it. Luckily for me the convenience store had an ATM machine next door. Other then the service and experience, the food phone was pretty good. Hot, big portion and tasty. Horrible customer service - I ordered vegetable and tofu vermicelli, and they gave me vegetable rice noodle soup. When I told them that this wasn't what I ordered, they refused to acknowledge their mistake and tried to convince me that what was in front of me was vermicelli. Super uncool. I wouldn't have made them remake the dish, but at least acknowledge that it wasn't what I ordered instead of making the customer feel stupid. My favorite pho restaurant! Been going here for years and it is one of the best and most authentic pho restaurants in the city. Prices are probably the best in the city and portions are big. The only place you can still order a medium bowl for less than $7, and they've got 4 sizes (small, medium, large and XL!). The vermicelli dishes are also excellent and they don't skimp on the meat either. For less than $10 you get 2 meats where as other places make you pay extra for additional meat. Their viet meatballs (nam neung) for the vermicelli is excellent. Same for the rice dishes, excellent portions and for less than $10 you will be full. Tip - ask for beef on the side for the pho and you'll get a little more than if they were to already put it in for you, and the beef won't be over cooked and chewy. read more

I remember coming here when I was in high school, different owners tho. My review is on one of their menu items from the specials board, mi quang. I know different regions of Vietnam make certain dishes differently. But this dish was not that good due to the strong flavor of turmeric in the dish. Turmeric is used to color the rice noodles yellow. The noodles in my bowl was not yellow. They might as well have skipped the turmeric all together. There was plenty of noodles, and meat however, so it was filling, just not tasty. I also ordered a Vietnamese iced coffee which they give it to you in a togo cup instead of giving you the drip coffee filter in a glass cup. I was looking for a pho place for lunch when doing a bank branch visit nearby. Undecided between Pho Com Vietnam and this one for a while, I walked into this one eventually. It was pretty much the same as other good pho places in Toronto - after you are seated, write your order on a note and hand it to the staff. Walk to the counter when you finish etc. The order came pretty quick and they actually put a large amount of beef in my bowl. The broth tasted flavourful as well. When I was eating, there was yells/swearing outside, which gave me a bit of an uneasy feeling. I have no idea whether it is a daily scene but I felt bad for the children in the restaurants :( Also I found the joint a bit tiny. It is nice that they accommodate large groups but I personally would not bring too many friends here myself, like other Yelpers do. Overall I would recommend this place to people who live or work nearby. Food is delicious and authentic but I think you can find pho of the same quality in other parts of GTA. Finally! A good bowl of pho in the Toronto area! This restaurant just opened up during the past year, and I have been eating here quite frequently. It is a cash only restaurant, so be prepared for that. It's been a while, but I have finally found a restaurant in the GTA that has good pho. The portions are truly generous, there is a lot of meat, and the broth is very flavorful. A small bowl of pho here has more meat than a large bowl in other locations. The pho here is actually comparable to something you would get in Southern California. No other place here that I or any of my friends have tried around here even compares. On top of that, the rice dishes are quite good as well. The portions are large, and the taste is good. It is as if the owner of this restaurant saw what was good in California and brought it over to here. The grilled pork and eggs are always good. The shrimp spring rolls are also well made here. However, not all dishes here are great, so you should try to stick to their specialties. I have tried so many other Vietnamese places highly rated by Yelp with no success.
