This place gets really packed and busy so reservations are recommended (although I think they don't take reservations on certain days). We were a table for 8 and it is quite small in there so we still had to wait a bit, it gets pretty hectic. Food was good and portions are huge (one bowl is probably good for two people). Haven't tried all their dishes yet (I always go for the BBH) so would try different ones next time.

Came here with my husband after driving by it so many times. The interior is super cozy and welcoming. The service was quick and accurate. They were super nice. Food was like a premium version of the dishes we normally get. My husband got the pho special and he said they used premium brisket inside his pho. They also provided him with a dipping tray, which at most places, he has to ask for it. Definitely coming back here after trying a few more in the area!!

Delicious and hearty pho with quality ingredients Atmosphere: The restaurant is quite wide and fairly open with rows of tables across the centre and booths near the windows, giving an almost canteen atmosphere. This works great for a more casual dining experience with family or friends. Food: The flavours of the Thai mano salad were very nicely balanced, with umami from the fish sauce and a hint of spice as well that balances out the sweetness of the mango. The grilled shrimps also had a nice barbecue flavour, but were a little deceiving on the plate as they were halved to look like there was more protein than actually served. The beef rib pho came in two huge bowls, one with the bones and marrow, and the other with a couple of ribs and the pho. The broth was clear and had a nice beef flavour, and the pho was perfectly cooked. The bones didn't have too much meat but had a lot of cartilage and was great, just wished there was a hint of more pho in the bowl but is plenty to share for two people with an appetizer. Service: The server was fantastic and quick, and everything was prepared very quickly. To pay, you walk up to the counter and they only accept debit or cash. Hearty and heart-warmingly great!

From the food to the ambiance, this place doesn't get any better! I ordered the mango shrimp salad as a meal and it was perfect, refreshing and satisfying. I'd recommend getting a side of protein as the shrimp is not enough.

I visited Pho Anh Vu in Vaughan a few months back after seeing this name all over social media, but I found it didn't quite live up to the hype. While the broth of the Pho was indeed flavourful with a good amount of meat, the spring rolls didn't stand out much, as I have had much better, and the fresh rolls didn't seem very fresh. There was also something that looked like a fly (it may not have been one) that was rolled into the fresh roll hence why I deducted a star to two. On a positive note, the staff were very friendly, and the service was efficient. Note that you are required to go up to the counter to pay when you finish eating. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated, and has a casual atmosphere. They also offer high chairs for the little ones, which is a nice touch for families. There's free parking out front, as the restuarent is part of a strip plaza. Overall, it was a decent experience, but it didn't meet my expectations based on the buzz social media had generated.

Great experience. We have been to the Richmond Hill location, which is bigger and a bit older and is starting to show its age. This location is newer and smaller. Located on Hwy 7 (on the south side) just west of Keele. As with most Pho Anh Vu's the entrance has pink blossoms surrounding the entrance. The menu here is smaller but covers all the basics. Interior is very pretty. Service was great! Each table has all the basics ie. chopsticks, spoons, sauces etc. Everything but napkins. I was about to ask for them but noticed an employee scanning the tables and next thing you know I had napkins (It's the little things that make the experience). Small pho is just under $17.00. Broth was deep and flavourful. I would definitely recommend a visit to this location if you are in the area.

This place was so happening when we visited. The servers were bustling and hustling. One server in particular did an outstanding job socializing not just with his own tables but throughout the restaurant. You could hear laughter wherever he went. The food was good too. They came quickly after we ordered. The portion was awesome, and I had left over for the next day. I ordered the special rice noodle soup (15), and it came with a decent amount of meat. It's such a comfort dish that I could never tire of it. Highly recommended.

Went clubbing the night before and needed something soupy, warm, and familiar. Pho it is. Didn't know Pho anh vu opened another location around Vaughan area and my sisters were really hungry after a night of drinking and dancing. It was a Sunday afternoon and it was already busy when we got there. We waited about 15-20 minutes before we were seated. Place is the smallest location compared to other locations, but looks nice inside just like the other ones around the GTA, and the patrons dining were pretty much 99% Vietnamese, so you know it's legit. I got myself a bun bo hue this time around, and I have to say, I was not disappointed. I was disappointed in myself, thinking I could have devoured the whole thing, but portions were huge! Same consistency like their other locations, huge portions, and fast service. We also got their cha gio, and fish sauce chicken wings which were pretty spot on.

Delicious lunch! Serving good to share for two. Had a che dessert to finish the meal - not too sweet but satisfy the sweet craving

Newly opened Pho Anh Vu. It's in an industrial area about 5 mins away from the Vaughan metropolitan Center subway. Quality of food is good and is about the same as the other Pho Anh Vu restaurants. Open kitchen concept with Vietnam style renovation and painting on the wall. There are about 12 tables in total so it's not a big restaurant.

I love Pho Anh Vu--the food is extremely delicious, especially its grilled meat, fish sauce, and pho, which I'd consider the quintessential pillars of Vietnamese cuisine. I'd give it five stars, but then the restaurant is in a higher price range for phos than other Vietnamese restaurants, so it lost a star (17 plus tax for a small size regular pho--which would end up 20 dollars and plus). Compared to places like Pho Tai Bac, it is very expensive.

2024-07-20. Pho Anh Vu. Concord, ON. Beef Rib (served on the side with #22 Beef Rib Pho). A Pho Anh Vu specialty. 5 stars.

Food was good. It was just too crowded that they had to split our table with another guest, which makes it awkward.

Ever since I discovered the spicy Curry Brisket Pho ($20.95), it has always been my go-to dish here all year-round. As creamy and thick as the broth appears, the intense Thai coconut curry flavours are perfect to slurp down in this modern fusion dish. We always order Pho Nam (XL $21.50) as well and both come loaded with a heaping portion of brisket slices in the piping hot noodle soup. From time-to-time, we also add the Banh Xeo savoury egg pancake which arrives on a huge plate even larger than the noodle bowls. Presented with a heap of greens & herbs, the crispy golden crepe is light and filled with bits of shrimp, pork, onions & bean sprouts. This is wrapped with the lettuce leaf for crunchy and refreshing bites. The menu prices have slowly but steadily increased over the past couple of years. There is still cash discount available. Not much has changed with the decor over the years in this spacious but dated restaurant interior. Service is always kind, fast and kid-friendly which is nice for young families. Skip it or hit it? My friend, Chris, suggested that we visit Vietnoms after a Yelp experience that made us crave something more. Luckily, it wasn't too far away. However, it was during rush hour on a Wednesday. We got here separately. This eatery is in a plaza that has a FreshCo anchoring it. The plaza has plenty of parking. I pulled into a spot and met up with Chris. This place has limited spots for dining inside. We had no problem grabbing a table. There is bar seating at the front. This place has a patio. However, it was too hot to sit outside, even with a large patio umbrella at each table. We were greeted and seated promptly. We got menus. This place has its regular menu and off-menu specials. Wow! I remember Crosstown BBQ had a collaboration with Vietnoms. Sadly, I missed it. Chris got these items: - Water - Banh mi dip My order consisted of these items: - Cold tea - Matcha lemonade - Rare beef and beef ball pho (small) I asked how large the large bowl of pho was. He pointed at a man's bowl. It was large, so I went small. The cold tea was refreshing. It came in a teapot. I loved it so much that I poured the remaining tea in my empty cup that once had my matcha lemonade. The drinks here are solid. I loved my matcha lemonade. There was no matcha powder grit in my drink. It was perfectly blended. The lemonade part had lemon preserve, which made it super yummy. I'd get this drink again in a heartbeat. My pho order was messed up. I spent a while trying to find beef balls. I realized that I had rare beef and beef brisket. It was also a large. Chris was the first to point out to our server that I didn't have any beef balls. I fished out the two types of proteins that were in my pho. He was apologetic and wanted to make things right. I frankly wasn't offended by this mistake. The proteins were yummy. The pho was excellent. Although it was a large, I was able to down it. The broth was delicious. Our server came over with a bowl of six beef balls and a lot of green onions in the broth. He apologized again. It was great that this place wanted to make everything right. For someone who wanted a small pho, I ended up with a massive meal. Thank goodness I didn't order an appetizer! I am a beef ball person. The beef balls hit the spot. The extra green onions made me so happy. I loved them. Chris enjoyed his banh mi dip. At first, he felt that the dip part was too salty. However, when we dipped his banh mi halves into it, the broth was fine. I need to get what he got next time. It looked incredible, especially the brisket in the baguette. I used the washroom before I left. It was compact and clean. No issues. We paid at the front counter. I paid with a credit card for both of us, as Chris had cash. I now have a running tab to pay him back. This place was awesome and a great suggestion. I suspect that dining here on a weekend would be difficult because it's such a small indoor dining area with limited seating. We came on a weeknight at nearly 6 pm and it was perfect. I'd return to get more good eats. It's an awesome addition to this plaza. (342)

Even then, it took us a while to get there, only 9km away. Traffic was brutal! The food, however, was excellent! I had their Bánh Mì Dip, while Mary had their Rare Beef and Beef Balls Pho. She also had something to drink, which she said was very good. I found the dipping broth a bit salty at first, but well balanced when had with the bánh mi. Mary's pho was missing the beef balls but that was soon corrected and she enjoyed it all. Although tiny (cozy), the dining room is very inviting, plus they have a little patio with umbrellas just outside the entrance. We chose to sit inside, avoiding the summer heat and bright sunlight. We enjoyed our meal while the traffic subsided.
