I really don't like writing bad reviews but this is the absolute worst pho I've ever had. The dish looked so good but the favors are lacking. I ordered the regular chicken pho which is chicken with the chicken broth and noodles. It tasted like dirty water with old chicken. The cilantro was just garnishing on the side. It's not actually cooked inside. The chicken chunks tasted likes it been reheated several times. Very rubbery and tasteless. Please visit real pho places like pho 79 (miamj) and 95pho (Pembroke) Those are places where real pho is served.

Disappointed. As in all other locations at Time Out, you order at the counter. You get a buzzer that lights up when your dish is ready, and you carry it to the communal tables. I ordered the beef pho. The portion and temperature were adequate. The meats were tasty, but it was downhill from then on. The broth was mostly tasteless - deadly sin for any pho conoisseur. The vegetables were also tasteless and lacked texture. The herbs were not served on the side and were wilted and sad. An overall disaster, were it not for the meat toppings. My companion ordered the veggie pho. No positives on that one. You get the tasteless broth, the texture less vegetables, and surprisingly bland mushrooms that tasted of nothing. In summary, the worst pho in South Florida.

No Sriracha sauce, no chili oil, beef was soft and tender, other than that, that was it.

3.5 It's a good concept inside the TimeOut Market. Bao Bun, Pho Gà Chicken, Pho Bò Beef, $15 or special Pho for MP. They give you a big bowl, lot of noodles, meat & small portion of bean sprout & basil. I did ask for more. But they don't use PHO noodle! What? They use vermicelli rice thin noodle, which Vietnamese calls BÚN. They offer shiitake nood for healthier version for extra $3 or extra meat for $5. Light broth, which is healthier taste, but no flavor at all. On the other hand, the cooked beef was nice and tender. The only Pho that I have to put Hoisin sauce in. It's not authentic Pho, but they are trying! A for effort! Still better than Miss Saigon nearby in my book. They DON'T TAKE CASH! Only card!

Cute signage

The pho was decent for being the only pho place on south beach. I highly recommend the garnishes be served separately so it doesn't get soggy. The brisket pieces were super thick. We also tried the caramel wings. The wings were a little too saucy. A little less sauce would of made the wings more crispy. Overall it wasn't too bad. Keep in mind, we are from the Bay Area, our standards of pho is pretty high.

Undercooked chicken

My husband and I came for brunch on a weekend. We got the pho bo ($15 each), one bao of five spiced roasted pork bao ($6), and caramel chicken wings ($8). The pho bo broth was bland and was warm when served. The noodles were under cooked . Compared to the pho we have in San Fracisco bay area, this was pretty mediocre and over priced. The chicken wings looked yummy from the outside but was undercooked and slightly raw in the inside. It ruined my appetite. The only saving grace was the pork bao. It was delicious, but over priced.

Guys! You need to improve your signature dish: the pho! Not hot enough, the broth was watery and the noodle undercooked. We were expecting much more! The shrimp bao is good. Hope you try to improve the pho!

A counter seat is hit or miss but nice to have available instead of only being a walk up window. Skip the smoothies. They're watery and thus not very filling or flavorful. I came around 1 PM and the restaurant was really busy with locals and some tourists. The restaurant only has counter seating in the windows with barstool seating (no inside seating) so you have to wait until someone gets up and then you seat yourself. I waited about 2-3 minutes and found a seat (it's all pretty quick because people eat their sandwiches and come and go). When I was seated I was warmly greeted by a restaurant employee and he promptly took my order. I ordered the Bora Bora smoothie to start (around $7) and ordered the turkey and brie cheese sandwich (around $10). The smoothie was made quickly with fresh fruit and the sandwich is a huge portion and came up quick with fresh bread and all fresh produce, the sandwich was truly amazing! Make sure to use the vinagarette dressing on the counter, this is homemade and is so good! If you're near a La Sandwicherie location, definitely stop in!

I'm not even sure what it is that we ordered, kind of like a ceviche meets guacamole. I think it was good, I'm honestly not sure. It was fatty, almost buttery, my date didn't like that. It came with some kind of chip that broke really easily. The marinated cucumber dish was pretty solid though. I'd get that again. I have friends in the area, so I'll likely try it again, but there will be many other places that I'll be trying first.

Wow, honestly, hands down the best wings I've ever had. The lime and sticky sauce were insane and unique, 10/10. The shimeji mushrooms were delightfully light, earthy, and herbaceous. The lotus root salad had an acidic sauce a slight spice from chili peppers, and was full of crunch. Finally, the Banana milk tres leches - the sweetness is subtle from the banana milk and coconut flakes, and the crunch from the cookie topping was a nice complement to the soft cake. My only complaint about the dessert was that it was tiny, but I'm also a dessert gal down boots. Lol Highly recommend leaning into the buzz and making a res.

Don't get me wrong, the ambiance is great and the vibes are calm and welcoming. The service was great. I was impressed with the prices and was excited for the food, considering this place has a Michelin rating. We got the goat curry, wings, and jungle steak tartare. The jungle steak tartare was really good and had a hint of sweetness. The wings had a really good crisp and great flavor, also a bit sweet. The goat curry was what disappointed me. I was expecting very flavorful curry, but it was much more bland and the goat was dry. I'm not saying the food was bad by any means. It was good; I just don't think it's as amazing as everyone describes, and my hopes were higher considering the ratings. I'm glad we tried it, but I probably will not return for more.

Service at the bar was great as well! Being on the lobby of one of the new South of Fifth condos, it has both outdoor & indoor spaces. I opted to sit at the inside bar. Drinkwise I enjoyed both their "Mango Heat" (tequila garnished with sweet mango and hot jalapeño) as well as their take on the sweeter Lychee martini, the "Dragon Pearl". The pours were generous and very well blended; as it were I didn't even get annoyed when some obnoxious New York finance bro looking type asked me to get a napkin as if I were a waiter. There was a little mix up with my main course, but they made it right. In the laws of unintended consequences, I had a homecooked curry at a friend's house the night prior. I mention in passing that I had curry chicken the night before, and the server brings me their curry chicken. I did send it back because I didn't feel like having the same dish two nights in a row. They didn't of bringing me a very tasty and well seasoned crunchy organic chicken that blended hint of sweet as well as tanginess from the cumin. Just as sweet was their banana flambee and associated flaming boozy reduction. I'd definitely recommend GAO for a nice night out; it is also a short jaunt from the ocean if you fancy a stroll.
