We had the fried wontons, vegetable rolls, chicken noodle soup and the combination pho. It was all delicious.

We stopped by just to check out the space and menu here at Pho N Wok and ended up staying for dinner. It was quiet on this Thursday at 5:45 and then things exploded, filling up the small dining area rapidly and leaving to go orders standing or waiting in their vehicles. I can see why. The menu here is terrific. We love Vietnamese cuisine and tried the Vietnamese House Fried Egg Rolls and the Shrimp Spring Rolls. The fried rolls were stuffed with pork, rice paper wrapped and fried perfectly, served with a sweet nuoc cham. The Spring rolls were fresh rolled with 4 shrimp halves, vermicelli noodles, lettuce, bean sprouts and cilantro and served with a peanut sauce. They were large and tightly packed. They could have used some pickled veggies like carrots and or daikon; but otherwise they were well prepared and pretty yummy. It took us awhile to peruse the menu. There's more appetizers, and soup, pho, noodle salads and pork, beef, shrimp, chicken and vegetarian entrees that encompass Chinese, Thai and Vietnamese cuisine. I ordered a Chargrilled Pork Meatball Vermicelli Noodle Salad. They came back to say they were out of the Pork Meatballs; but they graciously charred some chicken for me instead. My husband ordered the Beef Curry. We both ordered a heat level of 3. Our entrees were both quite good and fairly spicy. My husband chose the fried rice instead of the steamed. He found it to be flavorful as it had some mini- vegetables and it paired well with his tender beef and mushrooms and crisp pea pods, carrots, and onions in the coconut milk curry sauce. My dish, the vermicelli noodle salad, needed salt for me. I found the nuoc cham dressing sweet and the pickled daikon and carrots sweet as well. My waitress was able to ask the kitchen for actual fish sauce. The menu identifies the served sauce as fish sauce; but it's a dressing or dipping sauce - their version of nuoc cham. It's a preference and my preference is sweet and salty, even a little sour, too. But the salad itself was excellent. Perfect vermicelli with veggies and delicious chicken. Our service was impeccable, in spite of how busy they were. Our food was scrumptious. We will be back to try the Pho and other delicious sounding entrees. They have various Pad Thai, Lo Mein, Vietnamese Chow Mein and Singapore Noodles. There's a lot here to choose from. It will be fun. Next time I'll get photos!

This place has the best wonton soup and pho i have ever had. the flavor in the broth is just better than anything i have ever had. This is a small place with 6-8 tables in it. The owners/staff were very kind and got food out pretty quickly. The food is great, give them a try! There is plenty of parking.

We ordered orange chicken, sesame chicken, pepper steak, fried rice and steamed rice. Everything was delicious! I asked for level 5 spicy on the pepper steak and they weren't playin! It was spicy but so good! It was a great first experience! We will definitely go back.

Small place limited seating but fast friendly service and very, very good food. We had egg foo young and pork and vegetables both very good. Glad to have a great Pho and other spot in Midlothian. Will be back to try the Pho very soon

Orange Chicken after eating a bit. It was a lot fuller. Very plentiful.

Best Chinese-Vietnamese food in Midlothian. We have visited all similar restaurants in Midlo and this is hands down the best.

Our waitress Sharon was really friendly and made us feel right at home! The broth was great always on point. I recommend the fatty brisket meat, it's super tasty. Oh and bonus they have a beautiful fish tank at the entrance- the fish are super cute and love that it's like they greet and wave bye too.

They have tvs with closed caption and a screen with photos of the dishes they serve! I likey!!!! I went for the fried pork belly! It was crunchy, chewy and delicious, served atop daecon. The dipping sauce was perfect! Well, until I added too much chili paste but she gladly brought me a new one to redeem myself. Next I went with the Vermicelli with pork, shrimp and egg roll! I quickly dove in to this bright and fresh dish! Wow! Wow! And another wow! I added the fish sauce to my dipping sauce and poured over my bowl and it was perfect! I had to take a break midway through. I was able to finish about 3/4 of the dish! It was beautiful and a pleasant surprise. Will definitely try other dishes on my next visit. We had been wanting to try Rumdoul for a while, so it felt like a double treat! Before we even walked through the doors, we were hit with the most incredible aromas coming from the restaurant. It immediately made us excited to eat. Once inside, we were greeted with warm smiles by Leona, who was absolutely adorable and incredibly attentive to everyone dining there. We also had the pleasure of talking with Mr. B, who shared his vision for the restaurant and how he wants it to be different. You can genuinely feel the love, pride, and passion he has poured into this place--not only in the atmosphere but in every bite of food. Following some of his recommendations, we started with the chicken gyoza. They were perfectly fried, crispy on the outside, and packed with flavor. For my entrée, I ordered the tofu yellow curry at spice level 4. Let me tell you--it was SPICY! But it was also absolutely delicious. I can't wait to order it again, although there are so many other menu items I want to try too. Jason ordered the chicken Pad Thai. He's extremely picky about noodle texture and thickness, and he devoured every single bite. He ordered spice level 3, which was almost too much for him, but that didn't stop him from cleaning his plate! Of course, we had to finish with the mango sticky rice, which was my favorite part of the meal. I poured every drop of that sweet coconut sauce over the rice and mango, and there wasn't a trace left on the plate. We even used the extra sauce from the gyoza in our dishes because everything was just that good. There's a reason Rumdoul is sitting close to a 5-star rating. The food is incredible, the service is wonderful, and the passion behind the restaurant shines through in every detail. We will absolutely be back--and as soon as our little man arrives, we'll be adding sushi to our order too! Giving Rumdoul 5's with zero hesitation.

We started with the golden hot buns, edamame, pork and chive dumplings, and golden fried buns. Everything was fantastic...with one exception. The edamame comes with sugar instead of salt, and that one just wasn't for us. For our meals, we had General Tso's Chicken, Sesame Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken, Mongolian Beef Noodles, and Braised Beef Noodles. The General Tso's was one of my favorites, the sauce was bold, slightly sweet, and had just enough heat. The Sesame Chicken was really good too, a little sweeter and milder but still had a tiny kick. The Kung Pao Chicken was definitely a favorite at the table! It had so much flavor and a nice little spice to it. The Mongolian Beef Noodles were savory and really good, and the Braised Beef Noodles had a deep, rich flavor with a really tasty broth. Most of us chose the wide, flat noodles, and I would absolutely get those again. They soaked up all that sauce so well! And apparently scissors are part of the noodle-eating experience. It seemed a little odd at first, but it was actually kind of fun and definitely something different! The restaurant was quiet, very clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly. Our waitress was a young girl who was just the sweetest. And, as is standard for me, I asked her what her favorites were. She recommended several things and was so personable and helpful. Even as we were leaving, everyone told us thank you and goodbye. Little things like that make such a difference. And one completely random thing that deserves a mention...they give you individually wrapped flossers at the end of your meal. I know, it sounds silly, but after eating noodles, you KNOW you need one. We loved it! Definitely worth a visit if you're in Frisco and want something a little different!
