It's not fancy but it's pretty tasty! Service is always good and staff is friendly and helpful. My favorite is the steak and rice hibachi style with fresh veggies. Delish! They also have shrimp and chicken dishes and the egg rolls are very good. Lots to choose from and if you want to live dangerously, get some of the sliced Serrano peppers to mix in with your food. I come to this place once a week for lunch. Their sushi is SO fresh and their hibachi is delish!! Xavier is the first person I met here, and he introduced me to their Spicy Ponzu sauce that is AMAZING! Xavier has also been so kind, very helpful and he really is what customer service is about, exceeding expectations and I'm sure management knows what an asset they have. Love hibachio, have been coming for years for their rice bowls. THEY. Are wonderful. Their sushi however has been super overpriced for sushi with terrible structural integrity. They hide their poor workmanship by dumping ingredients on top and covering in sauce so they can hike the price. When you try and eat the sushi with chopsticks they fall apart and it's a mess had 8 sushi pieces and 7 out of 8 fell apart. Might as well grind it up and put it in a bowl. The only reason I noticed is because I asked for my sushi without stuff on top. Again I love hibachio I ate here through covid. Just never had the sushi. I wish I was better. The taste is fine but it's just disappointing to have a messy meal falling apart and unable to dip properly. I will service is wonderful! read more

I probably dine here twice/week for lunch, have done so for the past several months. I usually toggle between steak/shrimp plate w/all the veggies (and fried rice) and the emperor's bowl w/noodles. Always get egg rolls (above-average). Prices are a bit steep, IMO, but worth the quality of food (vs fast food). Expect $15-20 per person. Service is ALWAYS exceptional, and the dining room is kept clean. The food (meat) could use a bit more seasoning, IMO. Wife likes the Philadelphia roll (smoked salmon). Overall, one of the better stops for Asian/Japanese in town. read more

This is me and my Fiancés favorite place for sushi in town, with so many options it can get hard to pick but you will never go wrong with hibachio! We always get a large rice bowl with chicken and steak, and you can have them split it before it comes out so you get 2 smaller vowels, we also get a couple different rolls of sushi, it's always fresh and of great quality and super tasty! First time trying this place and it was really great! Food came out pretty quickly and portions were very large which was unexpected for what we paid so definitely appreciated. Inside is a little dated and could use a remodel or facelift but that doesn't take away from the food at all. My dad and I decided we were in the mood for sushi and while looking up reviews, Hibachio popped up under a traditional "order online, then drive to pick it up " type of platform. Not thinking twice since the reviews were so phenomenal, we went ahead and ordered. Pulling up to the establishment, fear began to set in, as I witnessed people standing in line either staring at the large menus behind the cashiers or just waiting idle for their orders to be presented. Well good golly geez Louise WAS I WRONG TO EVER DOUBT THEM!!! Their food is fabulous. The atmosphere is laid back. The staff are welcoming and kind. If I still lived in California and this were a franchise, the idea of forming a store in Palm Springs would be phenomenal ! The food is fresh and extremely healthy. I I have to add that the sushi is actually better than some of the customary sushi restaurants! So HEY TO ALL YOU AMAZING EMPLOYEES .....shout out to each and everyone of you! Y'all rock !! They are always so helpful and friendly here. I love their service and their FOOD! The brown rice bowl with grilled chicken is the best! The best pizza in town! Kidding, the best SUSHI in town. You can tell the staff members work hard because the proof is in the taste of the food they prepare, and you can see inside the kitchen. Absolutely no one is slacking off! The food tastes fresh, it's well-prepared, and made as quickly as they can possibly go. You leave satisfied, with little guilt since they have (mostly) healthy food options. My only complaints for Hibachio would be: the dining table turn-over is slow, maybe due to bussers being too busy to clear off dirty tables for the next group of folks; and the line to order is slow as well, with usually only one cashier. Sushi was descent but would not recommend for the price and lack of service. If your going to spend that amount go to a real sit down place nearby like Ohana or Osuba read more

The last eight times I've ordered I've had one mess up. The service is OK could be a little more friendlier, especially when taking orders over the phone they could be more understanding and patient. When I come to pick up my food, the restaurant is always clean. Restroom is always clean. I love their Yum Yum sauce. I've bought two bottles in the last two months that I've been coming. I always get the steak and chicken fried rice with no vegetables sometimes an egg and sometimes extra steak my kids order the sushi and small steak fried rice bowl and they love it. They get very large portions, which is great for the price that we pay my food. Always last me at least two days. Drive through goodness. It's so so good. I've always gotten their Chicken Rice Bowl and I add a little bit of soy sauce and yum yum sauce. It's all made fresh and hot. I am not a fan of the Crab Rangoons. They were stale and cold. The sushi is made to order, so you may have to wait a few minutes. For a "fast food"' restaurant, the food really is a step up. This is truly a busy place and there was a lot of people considering the fact that we are still in a pandemic but we picked a big table that would give us a little bit of distancing between ourselves. There was no social distancing going on the line to order our food nor to go get our drinks but I suppose this establishment doesn't regulate that. Damn, this place is good! It is an old Burger King converged into to a fast food sushi restaurant. Yes, that sounds like a scary thing but it is actually one of the best plates of sushi I have had. Ever. And don't even get me started on the service. Super nice guy who helped me and my daughter pick something yummy PLUS showed me how to use the chopsticks.
