I am always looking for good Chinese food, but the options on this side of DFW have been pretty sparse over the last several years! I'm really happy this restaurant has opened in Midlothian. On my last visit, I ordered the egg drop soup, Szechuan chicken, and crab cheese wontons. I was pleased with my entire order. I was especially happy to have someone selling egg drop soup because it is one of my favorite soups! I'm not a huge fan of pho, so I can't report on the quality of that. For a week I had gone on a no meat diet , I wanted to see to see if it was a life style I could adapt to, I just can't let go of seafood lol. For the most part it was easy and there were a lot of places that I frequent that I was still able to enjoy some of my favorite dishes, with the no meat option . This restaurant was one of them . I've had some pho from here earlier in the year , and I really enjoyed it. So when I noticed on the menu that they served Veggie Egg Foo Young served with your choice or white or fried rice, I was excited to try it. They also have really good veggie egg rolls and their Thai tea is to die for. This restaurant probably has some of the best egg foo young patties I've had since living in the DFW. Although the brown gravy was good , I wasn't a fan of the sweetness of it. However, my 2nd time ordering this dish , I asked what was used to make the gravy sweet, which the server with no issue went to the back to retrieve from the cook a list of some of main ingredients used to make the gravy . The server said it was brown sugar that was used to make it sweet . I requested to not have the brown sugar included, And for some reason it was still slightly sweet without the brown sugar, but not overbearing like before and it was still yummy. My daughter ordered the shrimp Lo Mein and she said it was sweet as well but that she still enjoyed it. It's small restaurant and has a few tables for those who'd prefer to dine in. It's was clean and the workers are always so friendly and helpful everytime I've been there. The food is always fresh and hot and the portions are really nice size. The prices are reasonable and they work well with making accommodation/ substitutions. I'm really thankful for this restaurant and I love that it's only 7 mins away from where I live. read more

First time here... if you're looking for dining in ambience or a place easy to get to... this isn't it. No alcohol served either. We stopped by just to check out the space and menu here at Pho N Wok and ended up staying for dinner. It was quiet on this Thursday at 5:45 and then things exploded, filling up the small dining area rapidly and leaving to go orders standing or waiting in their vehicles. I can see why. The menu here is terrific. We love Vietnamese cuisine and tried the Vietnamese House Fried Egg Rolls and the Shrimp Spring Rolls. The fried rolls were stuffed with pork, rice paper wrapped and fried perfectly, served with a sweet nuoc cham. The Spring rolls were fresh rolled with 4 shrimp halves, vermicelli noodles, lettuce, bean sprouts and cilantro and served with a peanut sauce. They were large and tightly packed. They could have used some pickled veggies like carrots and or daikon; but otherwise they were well prepared and pretty yummy. It took us awhile to peruse the menu. There's more appetizers, and soup, pho, noodle salads and pork, beef, shrimp, chicken and vegetarian entrees that encompass Chinese, Thai and Vietnamese cuisine. I ordered a Chargrilled Pork Meatball Vermicelli Noodle Salad. They came back to say they were out of the Pork Meatballs; but they graciously charred some chicken for me instead. My husband ordered the Beef Curry. We both ordered a heat level of 3. Our entrees were both quite good and fairly spicy. My husband chose the fried rice instead of the steamed. He found it to be flavorful as it had some mini- vegetables and it paired well with his tender beef and mushrooms and crisp pea pods, carrots, and onions in the coconut milk curry sauce. My dish, the vermicelli noodle salad, needed salt for me. I found the nuoc cham dressing sweet and the pickled daikon and carrots sweet as well. My waitress was able to ask the kitchen for actual fish sauce. The menu identifies the served sauce as fish sauce; but it's a dressing or dipping sauce - their version of nuoc cham. It's a preference and my preference is sweet and salty, even a little sour, too. But the salad itself was excellent. Perfect vermicelli with veggies and delicious chicken. Our service was impeccable, in spite of how busy they were. Our food was scrumptious. We will be back to try the Pho and other delicious sounding entrees. They have various Pad Thai, Lo Mein, Vietnamese Chow Mein and Singapore Noodles. There's a lot here to choose from. It will be fun. Next time I'll get photos! read more

This place has the best wonton soup and pho i have ever had. the flavor in the broth is just better than anything i have ever had. This is a small place with 6-8 tables in it. Daughter and I ate here yesterday for lunch, arriving about 1pm. Extensive menu provided. Pricing about typical for quantities and quality served. We had the Won Ton Soup Bowl and the Shrimp and Broccoli. Both were excellent. There are only a few tables - like maybe 4-4 tops and 3-2 tops, and it was about 1/2 full most of the time. Minimal decorations, but it seemed adequate. Food was served in 8-9 minutes from order time and all was hot, well presented, and tasted great. Next time we will branch out to other entrees. 12/07/23 ... Ate here for lunch yesterday, dining in ... all great again. Ordered pickup tonight for the family. Ready on time and all great food. They did forget part of one of our items, but THEY CALLED ME to let me know, just as I arrived home and offered to bring it to me. It arrived about 12 minutes later and was hot / fresh. We ordered orange chicken, sesame chicken, pepper steak, fried rice and steamed rice. Everything was delicious! I asked for level 5 spicy on the pepper steak and they weren't playin! It was spicy but so good! It was a great first experience! We will definitely go back. read more

The spring rolls are worth the visit. Robust enough to be their own meal. Peanut sauce is great. I've only had the kung pao and lo mein and both were very good. Big portions and good amount of protein. Can't wait to try more. read more

We have tried this place twice. Food is excellent. The only reason I didn't give them a 5-star is because the spicy food has not meet my level of tolerance. I like it spicy. The food quality and food portions are excellent. Definitely shareable portions. The dining area is small, only a few tables but we haven't had a problem getting a table for dinner. We noticed a lot of people opt to take out. Can't wait to go back to try something new. read more

So happy to have a good Asian option here in Midlo. Very solid Viet, Thai, and Chinese. Rare to find a place that can do all 3 well. I won't say each is 100% authentic however they are close and so far every dish I've tried has been very good. Solid 4 star spot for Asian, way better than other options nearby. read more

We are here for our second try. Our first visit was not so good. BUT this is a new business and we are not trying to bash anyone, just stating the true facts and not opinions. There are only 6 tables so we made sure we came right after we got off work to be sure we got a table! There was only one other couple there so hopefully we will have a better experience tonite. The cashier/order taker dude came out to bring us menus. He came back shortly and we ordered our drinks, the appetizer sampler and I ordered the Vermicelli noodle pork and babe trying the Singapore pork noodles again. Hopefully his noodles get to the right table tonite. We are just waiting for our food order that we placed 5 minutes ago.Ok that came out quick. Be right back! Sure to ask for silverware (we never got that last time.Wow . My food just also came. Hmm. Such an improvement from the last visit. Ok. Just waiting on babe's food. Tick tock. Oh boy. Really really good food here. I' ve tried the pho, egg rolls, fried rice, sesame chicken, sao chicken, chicken/beef chow mein and all of them have been excellent every time. I've only eaten at the restaurant (instead of takeout) like twice but the service was pretty good. Although it took a bit for the food to be cooked which is fine because you know it's made fresh. There's only like 6 tables there but other than that it's pretty nice there. Only thing that would stop me from coming here like weekly is the expense of the food. It costs like $50 to eat as a family anywhere else and like $90 here, the portions are pretty good though. read more

Pretty solid food, decent vegan options. Vegan pho and pad thai are tasty- only complaint is every time I order from them it takes a long time to get my food. Even when I order ahead I often am waiting 15+ minutes when I arrive. First time here, has been open about a month on October. Had a shrimp curry with fried rice. Very good. I asked for mild and it had a very good level of spice. The curry taste was smooth and not starchy, really wonderful. Price is acceptable. Not much inside seating but enough for everyone that came. A pretty busy restaurant in all. Mostly take out. 5 stars. Really good food, good price we joint. and maybe the best Asian food eatery in this area. Is certainly a come-backer. Looks like most of the orders are take out. The food here is amazing!! I've had the Kung Pao Beef (Spicy) about 3 times now and it does not disappoint. I also recommend the Fried Dumplings with the sauce. Service has always been great.
