The spring rolls were just ok. I ordered mine without shrimp and still got shrimp in it... the sauce tastes like pickle juice and is odd. The lady seemed inconvenienced to serve us and I didn't find her friendly plus it was $91 for 3 of us to eat two orders of spring rolls and a rice bowl with a couple fun drinks.

Banh Shop (Gate D10) is a top-tier DFW pick because they bake their own baguettes on-site, ensuring a fresh, crunchy base for their sandwiches. While the steak is cut thick and satisfying, I prefer the grilled pork but it's not available. It's the better move if you want that classic, balanced Vietnamese flavor profile. Expect vibrant bowls and fresh herbs, but be prepared for airport pricing around $15-$20.

Was looking for an Asian place that may have GF options at the airport. We came across this place and when we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly gentleman who I think was the manager. He told us we could seat ourselves and will get served. Lexi took care of us and assured us they had some GF options. We ordered the green curry with chicken and GF drunken noodles. Curry 3/5- didn't feel like a curry and was more of a stir fry. Curries have a lot more sauce/broth. It was fairly dry and just a bit too much ginger. It tasted fine but wasn't great. Pad Thai 3/5- It just didn't have a lot of flavor but adding some lime and sriracha helped. Usually I'm looking for that distinct tamarind flavor but it wasn't there. The veggies and meat were cooked well at least. Our service was great and quick, the food was just underwhelming and for $48 it seemed a bit over priced for what we got.

We stopped here for a quick bite during a layover in Dallas airport. The tables are nice right there and the view of the planes loading kept us engaged. I got the pork meatball banh mi and soup combo. The pork meatball had great flavor and vegetables were crunchy but the meatball was really a flat piece of meat. It needs a little more meat to veggie and bread ratio. The soup was light with citrus flavor and lots of noodles, chicken and fresh cilantro. My husband got the steak banh mi and enjoyed. Definitely more meat than the pork meatball.

Good airport food. It was a little confusing. To order there is a booth across from dude sweet but the bar is part of it across from skylink and has table service. Sign is small over the bar. Solid meal for 17 dollars. Bread was right. Had tofu bahn me and cup of soup. Receipts were easy.

Visited again because...long layover and hungry and limited vegan options. Tried the drunken noodles this time. With tofu and no egg. Noodles were fully cooked but thin rice noodles (not the wide kind I'm used to) and very bland. I probably should have asked for some Siracha or hot sauce. Again cooked fresh, plenty of oil, just very little flavor. Servers were very pleasant and the cook was super nice about accommodating no meat or egg. Tip: DO NOT use the QR code on table to order. There is a $5 up charge to sub tofu if you order online which is obscene, especially when a bowl of noodles is already over $20. Ordering from a person there was no extra charge to remove meat and get tofu instead.

    Fried rice bowl missing chicken

Definitely a pass when at the DFW airport. I grabbed a fried rice bowl with chicken on my way to my gate at the opposite end of the terminal. I heard the wok being used but the rice still had a wet consistency. Veggies were undercooked and just one or two steps away from being raw. The ginger soy dressing was either just a sprinkle or forgotten because there was a massive lack of flavor. It really needed some salt or soy sauce. And the kicker? They forgot my chicken so I paid $21 for some mediocre wet, bland rice. Don't be like me and walk away without checking your food. I didn't have time to go back or I would have.

I am not much of a breakfast eater, but figured I needed something and didn't want the typical fast food options. The breakfast rice bowl was so much better than I expected for a place in the airport. The egg was actually crispy, which definitely hit the spot. Everything about the bowl was perfectly done. I will absolutely order one the next time I find myself at the airport in the morning.

I got a fried rice bowl and it was actually quite tasty. The tofu pieces I added as a protein (extra cost to add any protein) were tiny slivers but there were also tiny egg pieces. The veggies were very tasty. Overall a delicious option that is hearty and actually has veggies! I ordered at the counter and opted to eat 'there' and was told to sit in any seat and they'd bring me out my food. You can also sit anywhere and order from the QR code on the table. This was a pleasantly decent option at the airport and I would go again but opt for something that was more vegetable heavy than rice heavy.

I was smelling another passenger's food as she was dining, waiting for her flight that I had to go and get some, too. The spicy green coconut curry with tofu had no taste at all. I came back to ask for soy sauce. I probably should've just gotten the usuals - fried rice, pad Thai, or bahn mi sandwich.

I was thrilled to find some chicken soup in the airport. The gentleman who helped me was very kind and didn't know if he had any more noodles or chicken left, but went out of his way to help me. They close at eight so get there before hand. The people behind me, returned away. Feeling blessed to have some good soup.

Steak Banh mi with veggies on the side. 1/10.

Sorry to say, this is one of the worst Banh Mi I have ever had. I understand it is airport food but this is a waste of money. The bread wasn't great, the pickled veggies weren't picked enough, the steak wasn't a decent cut or was there much flavor at all. I wouldn't order this again.

Flew in from DEN and had a connecting flight here in DTW, thought I give this place a try before heading out to my next flight. I came here on a thought that the food would be delicious but to my sad surprise, it was a miss. The photo looked very tasty, but it wasn't up to my standards. I ate it anyways because it was pricey. If u want actual vietnamese food save yourself the time and find a real place. You're better off eating panda express here in the airport. lol Service was okay, but I will probably not eat here again.

Vietnamese style chicken soup - all the chicken was hidden beneath the vermicelli. This soup is so good, you should give it a try.

This is our goto restaurant option while flying out of DFW airport. Never disappoints us.

The restaurant has vibrant decor and murals that transport you to a diverse neighborhood. Every employee who helped us was approachable and kind, checking on us after we were seated and served, going as far as taking photos for us when we asked because we were celebrating our anniversary, and bringing out things we asked for once we were seated. It seems basic to say that, but the warmth and kindness was felt from each employee we interacted with, and I don't want to gloss over their good service. Our order: - Angry Pho Birria Platter - Elote + Chips - Strawberry Lemonade - Ube Horchata The pho (a little spicy) and bao (a little sweet with super tender meat) will make you want to do a happy dance. The wings could have been a little crunchier but they were sauced so it's understandable. The Bang Bang and Spicy Chili flavors were delicious. The Birria tacos were good, but we loved everything else on the platter more. The Elote + chips starter was authentic and yummy. The chips felt like an odd pairing, but it tasted good together! The Strawberry Lemonade was sweet but refreshing. The Ube Horchata was creamy and delicious. Not too sweet, and the ice didn't ruin it. Know before you go: - Arrive early! We got there when they opened at 11 AM on a Friday. Two other parties were already there and waiting to dine, as well. By 11:30 AM, a nice-sized crowd had rolled in. They had no problem getting everyone served quickly, though. - You order and pay first, grab a seat, and then they bring your food out to you. - Yes, the platter sizes are sufficient for two hungry adults to fill up on! You might even have trouble finishing it all. - Their online menu has awesome pictures of each platter option. The platters look smaller in person than in those photos, but as I said, you will definitely get full. - My husband, who is not a pho lover, loved the Angry Pho. - They are closed on Saturdays and Mondays. - They have gluten-free and halal options.

Literally a flavor bomb in every bite! They have an extensive menu with so many unique dishes. It was hard to order one dish so we just had to order it all :) The Saltado was the best I've ever had! It was so bomb! The fries were somehow still crispy even though it's tossed in this delicious sauce! Meat was tender and melt in your mouth good! I also loved the burger! We cut pieces so we can all try the different dishes, and I kept cutting pieces of the burger! I've also been on a burger kick lately to try to find the best burger and this one is high up the list! It was surprisingly hot for a good 15 mins. The meat was well seasoned and the onion, cheese meat and sauce all blended so well. Little bit salty and a little bit sweet with the grill onions. The wings were also crispy with this nice sweet chili sauce! Cooked to perfection! I really liked the curry pho! It's a green curry with a little kick to it. They have quite a few different vegan options and this is a dish that can be made vegan. You can dip the Birria tacos in this pho consume which is so fire! It's so good you just want to drink it up lol I added some of their habenero hot sauce and it was just the perfect birria bites. The phorrito is pho filling wrapped in rice and fried! You gotta wash all these delicious meals down with a lychee peach tea! It hit the spot lol it was so refreshing with the perfect amount of flavor and sweetness. This is a must try place if you're in the area!
