Best Pho in town! Fast service and good customer service! They are our weekly go to! The broth is delish!

The food here is always amazing, but unfortunately, the service really leaves a lot to be desired. I normally come here for takeout and rarely eat inside the restaurant. Today, I came in with my baby in my arms and my two other little kids. My oldest was trying to open the door for us and was struggling. There were no other customers in the restaurant--just the employee working there--and he simply stood there and watched instead of helping. Once we finally got inside and paid for our food, I was holding my baby with one hand and trying to carry the soups with the other. Again, I struggled to open the door while the employee just sat back and watched. I understand that no one is obligated to do everything for you, but I do believe that common decency means helping when you clearly see someone struggling, especially a mother carrying a baby and trying to manage two small children. I genuinely love the food here, but after this experience, I honestly don't know if I can bring myself to come back. It's disappointing when great food is overshadowed by such poor service. I guess decency really isn't so common anymore. read more

Food was great. Ordered the tomato crab noodles and it wasy favorite. Crispy omelette was good too but wish it had more protein fillings and more sauce. Fillet mignon was just soso, nothing crazy. Ambience was meh. Loud techno music that has the same beat and everything was stuck in Christmas theme. It's end of July right now. Service was the one where they lacked. Literally no other customers were there expect for my friend and I. Had to ask server who was on his phone sitting at a table for water refills and never came back to check on us. Had to walk up to the register to pay for the meal. They also charged me for the chilli oil that I had asked for without telling me it was extra charge. They also charge 50 cents for every togo box. I know it's not a lot of money, but the lack of service and communication was just so frustrating. I wish I can look past the service and extra fees on togo boxes, but I probably won't be coming back to dine. read more

Growing up in San Gabriel Valley it's really hard to find a go to pho spot because they're all really good. After moving from San Gabriel to West Covina, this spot takes the cake. Their pho is delicious, clear broth, aromatic, just the perfect amount of salty and sweet balance that the flavors just become one if you know what I mean, generous portions and spot on. Seems family owned, same faces working there and they're all very attentive and kind. The restaurant is fairly clean nonetheless. It does get a little stuffy inside sometimes during the heat waves but when you step into any pho restaurant and it's 95 degrees you should already know what you're getting yourself into. read more

Shop located next to a Food 4 Less. Ordered Bun Bo Hue (Vietnamese beef noodle soup) and Bun Rieu (Vietnamese seafood tomato noodle soup). Not too many local Vietnamese restaurants offer Bun Rieu, I'm surprised it offers this soup! Good portion and plenty of broth for both noodle soups. Tastes as expected. Good service and food came out fairly quickly. The shop decor is similar to other Vietnamese pho places with neon lights, etc. Plenty of parking outside. Pricing wise, a little more than I expected considering the local area, but I can't complain about the portion. Also keep in mind it does charge an 18% surcharge for party of 5 or more. This restaurant is in a Food 4 Less/Ross strip mall. The place itself had a good amount of seating: around 4 booths (4 ppl), some big tables in the middle (good for groups) and tables for 4 on the other side. It wasn't too busy when I went, about 2-3 tables were taken. Service was really quick, but when I was done I did wait awhile before anyone checked on me. FYI - you pay at the register. Well it was Pho type of day today and I found this place on Yelp. I ordered a chicken pho and a strawberry lemonade. There is only one size serving for the soup (ranged from $15-$18) depending on what type of protein and soup base. I just went with a basic one protein. The strawberry lemonade was ok. Not sure I liked the strawberry part, but the lemonade part is good. I would try the regular one next time. It is on the pricier for a drink as well $7. The Pho! The soup base was great. It had so much flavor! Normally when I get chicken pho it is sometimes bland, so this was a nice surprise. Not sure if it was beef or chicken base... but I just kept drinking the soup. I will defintely come back here again for this, especially as we get into colder weather. Back to the size... I did mention the bowl only comes in one size, but I literally took home a full container of soup (check pics), so it might be worth it depending on 1) how much you eat 2) if you like to eat leftovers. read more

I've been coming to Pho Oh Love for a while and genuinely enjoyed it. But I recently noticed the health department posting rated them a "C." That's not a good sign. It means there are health code violations, and when it comes to food, that's not a risk I'm willing to take. Until the restaurant brings its rating back up to an "A" and I see Yelp updates showing that, I'll be staying away. This spot is great for some Vietnamese food, best in the area. They use the spring roll wrapping for the eggroll that makes it extra crispy. My husband and I had just arrived back from a trip, and pho is often our first choice of dinner upon our return. A while ago, I came across Pho Oh Love on Yelp and was intrigued by how tasty their menu offerings looked, including the banh xeo. Seeing that it was nearby, we decided to check it out in hopes that we'd like it enough to become regulars here. The restaurant is casual and located in a plaza next to Food for Less. Onto the food, the pho was solid with a light, clean-tasting broth though I would've preferred to be more flavorful. The portion size was large, which was good considering it was on the pricier side compared to other restaurants I've been to. The banh xeo also came generously sized and was pretty good with its inclusion of probably the biggest shrimps I've seen yet in a Vietnamese restaurant. While I have no qualms about the food here, the service we received was off-putting. My husband asked for the check, and the worker without a word waved him down from the farthest corner in the room to come to him to close out the order. Not a huge deal, but not the most hospitable customer service either. Also, it looks like the restaurant charges for to-go containers?! As someone who usually brings home leftovers, I'm not sure why I would choose to patronize this restaurant out of all the other pho spots in the SGV, most of who do not charge for to-go boxes. read more

Worst service ever. One time we came and they refused us 30 minutes before closing. The last time we came and asked for a small bowl of soup to cook the rare steak on the side. They didn't even mention it was going to be 6 bucks. As we asked for the check they kept waving us over to get pay at the front desk instead of just bringing the check. The prices are average to slightly-above-average for a vietnamese restaurant in the 626, but it's probably to compensate for the higher meat-to-carb ratio in their dishes! Nem Nuong Cuon (5/5) These are tightly wrapped and well presented! They don't skimp on the nem nuong, which makes these summer rolls really plump. Can't really go wrong with an appetizer like this. Banh Xeo (5/5) Crispiest banh xeo I've ever tried! The batter is lacey and crispy. I was expecting a small pork to bean sprout ratio, but there's a surprising amount of pork in there--more pork than when I've had it at home! Highly, highly recommend. It's quite pricey but this dish stood out to me and I will reorder this when I come back. Pho Dac Biet (5/5) The broth leans more on the sweet than savory side, which I like since I have a huge sweet tooth, but it's not overly sweet. I'm surprised at how much meat and tendons they provide as well. When I thought I was done fishing out the meat and sipping on the soup, I kept finding tidbits of brisket or tendon here and there. The inside of the restaurant felt very modern but comfortable at the same time. I've had good pho here. I'm disappointed to see their latest health inspection results. As of 11/2025, they dropped from their normal A rating down to a C. I'm hoping it's simply a matter of retraining the stuff. It takes them about 10-15 mins to package the order. Once you head to the counter they confirm your name, show the total, and wait for you to finish the transaction. A simple bye and you're free to leave. They've always given me the same service if I ate in or did takeaway. Their interior is dated but true to other Vietnamese restaurants. Sometimes you do have to wipe down the table and chairs by yourself. Will not be returning until their score improves. Honestly I would probably review reoccurring violations. The two major violations make me a little uncomfortable as a customer. read more

If you're looking for a Vietnamese hidden gem, give Pho Oh Love a try! It's located by the Food4Less with plenty of parking in the plaza. I haven't actually dined inside so I can't comment too much about the actual service or ambiance, but I've ordered their food for takeout many times before! I usually will get a vermicelli dish or the grilled pork chop with rice, eggloaf and/or shrimp paste. The items are all pretty good, and I really like both the eggloaf crispy shrimp paste. Their crispy egg rolls are also delicious! I love how crunchy they are and usually get an order of this as well. It's a little bit pricier compared to some of the other Vietnamese restaurants in the area, but I think the flavors and quality make up for it. read more

It was well seasoned and the broth was flavorful, however, my favorite ingredient, pork blood was absent. The server told me that they don't have at this location because people don't like it as much. The meat and tendons tasted fresh. The inside has plenty of seating. I would also like to add that each canned soda is $4! Definitely overpriced compared to other Pho spots I've been to. I wouldn't have minded the service charge if the service was actually good. I really have a soft spot for a hole in the wall places, especially when it serves Vietnamese food ha ha. This place is no exception. Located in a strip mall next to a grocery store. I found this place because I was craving some soup. And in this case, pho. It wasn't too far from where I was working, so made it a point to come here for lunch. Obviously by the name, pho is the emphasis, but there's actually a good variety on their menu. I would say the service is pretty standard at a place like this. Highly efficient not a lot of frills. When I got my food, the amount of pho was a lot. So the prices seem to be highly reasonable. I thought the pho was really good. I struggled to finish because of the amount. Also, I want to note that the bathroom was very pleasant, lol. I'm not sure how long they've been around but this place feels very new and clean. I'm serious. The bathrooms smell and look really nice. Definitely would love to come back while I'm still in the area to try some other stuff on the menu. read more

The food: We ordered three vegetarian items: bun bo hue chay but with the modification of the spiciness level at mild (vegetarian spicy noodle soup), pho chay (vegetarian pho), goi cuon chay (vegetarian spring rolls). The staff confirmed the soup bases for the vegetarian items do not contain any animal products. I do not believe any of the vegetarian items contain any egg, and certainly no dairy. However, please check with the staff to ensure this is true if you're vegan. The non-veg members of my family ordered: pho da biet (house special) and the pho hai vi (seafood). All of us enjoyed our dishes, and we found them the perfect comfort food on a chilly night. We agreed that the broth was light but flavorful, the portion sizes were generous, and the toppings paired perfectly with the soup! I personally enjoyed the broth of the mild version of the bun bo hue chay more than the vegetarian pho and would likely order that next time instead! I The veggie spring rolls were also fantastic! The only thing I thought could be improved on is changing the toppings a bit more for the two vegetarian noodle soups because they seemed very similar. Everything else: This establishment certainly feels like a mom and pop shop, and we only saw two people running the shop while we dined, so it took some time for us to get our orders in. But the food came out swiftly after that, and we didn't have to wait long at all. On busier weekends that might change though, so keep that in mind if you choose to visit then! I can't say I've ever visited their restaurant in person-- I've only ever ordered delivery through Uber eats. However the food is delicious and I've found myself reordering from them all the time. They are my new go to place when I'm craving Vietnamese food. The waitress explained to us the difference between the summer rolls vs spring rolls. I think general public is used to spring rolls being the ones with the rice paper. The rolls themselves were yummy but I wasn't too impress with the dipping sauce. The pho was also yummy. The key to a good pho is the broth and we like the beef broth and brisket combo. The bun rieu had tofu, meatballs, and some sort fried accompaniment (fish cakes?). The meatballs were tender. Next time, I would add more lime and request mint since that's what I'm used to with mom's cooking. The portions were huge and we were too stuffed to finish our soups.
