Had lunch on a weekday. It's a very casual and ordinary place with several tables for indoor seating. Good for groups too! Service is fine. Really enjoyed my banh mi! It had fresh veggies and lots of protein. They were also able to put the sauce on the side.

love this place! the pho is delicious. The boba teas are good too. Very sweet lady at the front, and the guy in the back is very nice too. I come here a couple times a month, I love it

I just wanted to fulfill my mom's wishes to try a Vietnamese restaurant in Texas since we are visiting from California for several days, and boy! What a complete disappointment. I ordered the pho đặc biệt, and it looks like beef balls noodles... lacks ingredients of tripes and others. When the bowl came out, my mom and I were perplexed if they got the wrong order... but didn't. We had to ask the host to confirm. She said the ingredients were at the bottom... but it was a total lies. The noodles were also clumped together. That took me a few minutes to separate them. Then my brother broken rice came out, and I thought it looked just wrong. It looks just like a kid-size portion that's overpriced. My husband's vermicelli noodle also looks sad, and he commented that the sauce is too salty and there are not enough veggies. The only thing that is probably worthy here is their egg rolls. It tastes pretty good, has a crunchy texture, and is filled with ingredients. I do not recommend this place if you are looking for Vietnamese cravings. Honestly, I probably wouldn't even recommend trying any pho restaurants in San Antonio if this is what the standard looks like.

I feel like when a place claims "the best" in something, you have to be very careful and sometimes may just want to avoid it in general. I wish I did because the soup was not flavorful. The broth was so bland that I just ate the noodle and what little meat is in the soup. I came in after the winter storm so there were no vegetables to go with the noodle soup. I can understand that but I feel like it's better to not serve than to serve without vegetables. I finished eating the soup in about 5 minutes because it has very little noodle and meat. On the plus side, the springrolls are good.

Fact: Not all Pho restaurants are created equal. Unfortunately, we were reminded of that today when we had lunch at Pho Plus. I was excited to try this hole in the wall because that's usually how you discover hidden gems! This was not the case today. My wife is Vietnamese-American and we are Pho-natics so please let me explain. 1) My first impression was it was bigger inside than it appeared from the outside. But that pro was quickly canceled out by the smell of dirty mop water from their floor. 2) Don't drink their water. It's from the tap and probably tastes like what I imagine what their mop water would taste like. Maybe ask them for bottled water should you go. 3) There was little we could do to improve their broth's taste. It was too sweet and salty and tasted as if it were missing other seasonings. It just didn't taste right. 4) Ready for a big one? They tried to feed us a strip of plastic which was hidden in one of their egg rolls. Okay so I'm going to assume they didn't do that intentionally but it was in there. Seriously. Please reference our pics. 5) Their spring rolls have bean sprouts which is odd. You also have to request pork to be included along with the shrimp because at their location, we were told they didn't typically do both. Condescendingly, might I add. That deserves its own number in and of itself. 6) No tripe available for Pho which is usually a staple for a pho restaurant. Even Americanized and quasi-authentic pho joints have this option. 7) Jalapeños and basil weren't fresh. We could tell the jalapeños were cut a day or so ago since their edges were already dried out. Perhaps the only reason this place has any patrons is because of its close proximity to Fort Sam Houston and the lack of other pho places in the vicinity. As I've said before, I don't like to give bad reviews to small businesses, but I had to call this place out. If you are accustomed to good Vietnamese food do not come here.

I am going around San Antonio trying & seeking out the best Pho in town. Well, this places Pho broth was lacking flavor. I've never added salt & pepper to my Pho, just for a bit of flavor. I also added more of the Hoisin & Sriracha sauces than I normally do. One of the things I love about Pho are the spices used to make it. I couldn't taste any in theirs. Now, it was good, just not great. Maybe it was an off day. Plus, I am sick. So, I'll give them another try. The only thing frustrating is in the eight other times I've gone by this location is they were always closed. So, I'll have to plan another visit. The spring rolls come with an option of fried, or rice paper, I chose to have them fried this time. They were good & fresh. I'll come back &'update after I've tried their pho again - if deserved. Until then, they're okay.

When I first parked and saw the building I thought it was going to be an "idk about this" experience. However, this place is so delicious! As I walked in I was greeted in a kindly, welcoming manner. The place was clean. I ordered spring rolls and pho with brisket and an iced tea. and it was probably the best I've ever had. Even the tea was the best in Texas! All three items and I was still under 20 bucks! As I left the employees thanked me and were just all around sweet, something I think is kinda rare when you step into a hole in the wall. You gotta eat here, it's the best!!!!!!!!!!!

Great little place, a little out of my way, sad to say I hadn't discovered this little gem since it's been in business for nearly 10 years. Waitress was very attentive in a caring, not overburdensome way. I asked for Wifi and she worked with me a few times to get the password without much luck. I'm sure they'll have it figured out soon. Super kind and caring people, great pho, I highly recommend!

To be honest, I've never tried Vietnamese food before, I've eaten Thai a lot. I came here vecausr my wife really wanted Pho, and this place was the closest location with good ratings. Service is very good, not too long of a wait and they let you know how long, as well as ask and remember your name. My wife liked the Pho very much, and it was a generous portion. I got the Bahn Mi, which I have seen on tv before, so i got it with grilled pork. It was very good, especially with a little hoisen sauce. I highly recomend this little gem of a place. read more

Wasn't too impressed the first time I visited but after a second visit, I'd say this spot is solid when you need your Vietnamese food fix. The rolls I've had, bowl of pho from the previous visit, and bowl of Bun Thit Nuong Cha Gio were all slightly above average. There is enough variety on the menu to keep me coming back. I'd probably give this place 3.5 stars for the food, but considering how difficult it is to find Vietnamese food in the Terrell Hills part of town, I give it an extra half-star for just existing. read more

I decided to try pho so I ordered P1 which is pho with rare flank steak,brisket and meatball..The broth,veggies and noodles were good but the meatballs were soooo tough; there was also some thinly sliced white meat which was not rare anything and was indistinguishable..Anyway I was missing a meat..Also, ordered B1 which is grilled pork,shrimp and egg rolls..The pork was akin to jerky and the shrimp was flavorless..I'm not quite sure why they overcook their meats to the point of unpalability..This is not my first time eating here.. I really enjoyed the Taro Boba! The shrimp spring rolls were good as well.. I ordered Pho with Brisket and thinly sliced beef and was disappointed at the quality of the brisket and the very limited amount of meat in general that was included in my bowl. The Pho broth was a tad bit bland and needs refining. I have been all over and have had good Pho and bad Pho and although this bowl was not inedible, it could have been better :-D I do recommend this Pho restaurant as they do have plenty on the menu to choose from and I look forward to trying their BBQ pork Shrimp and Eggrolls on Virmacelli noodles read more

After waiting for 35 min and seeing that this place got 4 orders wrong, it was time to walk out...first of all, u need the correct procedures to cook and prep food, NOT make one now at a time, note to Owners, you cook all pho for 13 bowls first, than u add the meats and soup last to all bowls and bring it out at the same time...and you also need to know how to speak your language if that's the food that your selling...won't be back, very disappointed Houston foodies read more

Home away from home vietnamese food. We come here at lease twice a month. Perfect pricing for great food. We love their peanut sauce and fast service. Owner is very friendly and easy to interact with. Interior is always clean, well kept and very modern. They are military friendly and do offer a discount to serve members. read more

Stopped in here for a quick lunch. I had the P2 rare round with extra meat, and my friend had the pork and shrimp vermicelli bowl. Pho broth was good with lots of meat as requested. They forgot the shrimp in the vermicelli, but quickly corrected that once pointed out. Good little spot! read more

Reminds me of home(Minnesota), just recently moved here for schooling and needed some Pho real bad. This is a quiet hole in the wall with very nice staff. The Combination pho and vermicelli bowl are pretty much on point. The Bahn Mi wasn't as expected but they were pretty good. read more

I am Vietnamese from Southern California. I have pretty much sworn off Vietnamese food in San Antonio. But this place is authentic and tasty. The pho soup is very clear, that's something to look for in a good pho broth, and the best part, NO MSG. We ordered a little of everything on the menu: Bun (dry, no soup rice noodle), Rice dish, Pho, and Banh Mi (sandwich). Everything was tasty. The bread was very soft, not French Bread that I would prefer, but good when toasted. I am so happy to have this little hole in the wall place close by on Austin Hwy. read more

This is a very small but quaint place. I'm so glad it is within less than a mile of my home! The staff are very friendly and often times recognize my voice when I call in to go orders. Pho portions are very generous. Also I often the beef bahn mi. Another note is the way this restaurant packages pho to go is great because you can eat your order if you're not accessible to plates and bowls! read more

Never going back to this pho place. It took 35 min to have bowl of pho. Seriously. Ordered steak and tendon pho. could not chew tendon it was so hard. This is not a steak house as the previous review states. This restaurant has only Vietnamese menu. The food is very good. I would have given a 5 star rating, if it weren't that the only thing I can complain about is that they are stingy in the vegetables that come with the meal. read more

This little food "truck" absolutely nailed the Northeast dessert! Having only had Raspas and Hawaiian Shave Ice, I was pleasantly surprised by the array of Charm City flavors, the fineness of the ice, and the add-on options. In addition, the "truck" was immaculate, and I still don't know how the gentleman who helped us managed to keep the cups from getting sticky. Skills! For that classic Baltimore experience, I recommend the high top egg custard flavor with marshmallow drizzle. Cheers!
