Conveniently located across the Asia Supermarket with plenty of parking. We didn't have to wait to be seated as we were there on a Saturday at 2pm. It was a very spacious place so could accommodate big parties. However, the pho was somewhat lacking in flavor even with all the fixings.

    Inside- very clean!

chicken pho and it was so good. I really tasted the ginger and it just warmed my belly and my soul! I also got a banh mi and that was so tasty- best bread I've ever had! The owner said they make the bread in house! And they buy good quality flour that goes for 20$ a bag. Best French baguette bread I've ever had. I'm so glad to have found this gem! I wish them the best success and luck and hope they continue to serve quality food for many years to come. Thank you for the amazing service!

Best Pho place in San Antonio! My boyfriend is Vietnamese and so far this is one of his go to Vietnamese restaurants. The banh mi is also good. The bread for the banh mi is homemade so make it even more delicious! I highly recommend Phi Hai An!!

Vietnamese restaurant scene in San Antonio is pretty much lacking. So far, this restaurant has the best tasting pho. It's really the broth that I am talking about, the sweetness of the broth, not from sugar or MSG but from slowly simmering bone marrow. Compared to other more populated Vietnamese cities, it's not on par but this for San Antonio, it's pretty good to me.

I've been going around San Antonio trying Pho to see who makes the best. I've been to six places. I had one I really thought was going to stay number one, until I came to Phó Hái An. Their Pho, so far, is the best I've had. I'm back one day later to try it again. Yesterday I had the combinati

Really good food. Vegetables and meat were well cooked and flavorful. The noodles were really tasty. My boyfriend got pho noodles and he loved it too. We also got to pork rolls for an appetizer and those were alright. They also serve good portions so you're not too full afterwards. The only complaint I have is that the inside of the restaurant was not appealing. The ceiling is old and dirty, and a lot of the lights were off. It looked like a restaurant getting ready to close down. No music, so it was a little awkward. The man who seated us was friendly enough. I'll come back, but only for takeout. Not dine-in.

Great meal! We loved the spring rolls and the vermicelli with shrimp ! The food is always ready on time when I call it in. Friendly, reliable. One of my go-to places.

Looks like nastiness from 6 customers ago. Definitely not a fresh bowl

My co-workers and I came to this Pho place because our normal place is closed on Tuesdays. The place appeared to be popular with the locals but I will not return. One of the workers was digging in his nose like he was searching for gold. He went to the back and came back out again for all the customers to see and proceeded to digging in his nose again. I told the main gentlemen and he didn't think it was a big deal. Then I take a look at my pho bowl and it looks like it hasn't been washed in probably 6 customers. I literally stopped eating because I just couldn't continue. I will never eat here again.

Omg I love this place for some pho! Been here several times, right on Walzem. Summer rolls for appetizer. Vermicelli bowl with shrimp, grilled pork, and spring roll. Fantastic, I highly recommend. 4 out of 5 regolls. Nothing like some comfort foods to make you smile. Enjoy.

We tried some new-to-us dishes recently and generally found them to be very good. Orange Chicken was not overly battered, big chunks of white chicken meat, not too saucy and just a hint of spice. Real orange peel, too, which makes all the difference! We also ordered the Spicy Combination with beef, chicken, and shrimp. Carrots, peppers, bamboo in the dish provided a bit of veggie balance. Not our most favorite, but still very good. As per usual, we started with steamed dumplings and crab puffs; DH added a cup of egg drop soup- this place serves his favorite egg drop soup. Everything was delicious. I always ask for chili oil for that extra added kick! I do wish that the dishes labeled "spicy" were actually spicy. They really aren't spicy at all. Don't let the little pepper symbol deter you. Always clean, always prompt, always good!

The staff is super friendly and courteous :) ! We usually order the beef vermicelli soup, and a variety of dumplings :D ! I eat all kinds of meat. So I always order the pork and chive dumplings :D ! Whether you come in on a weekday or weekend, it always helps to come early if you can! If we want to go there for lunch, we try to get there as close to 11 am as possible when they first open. As it gets closer to 12 noon, it starts to get really busy, and it's harder and trickier for the staff to seat you. There is both booth and table seating. It's a great restaurant to catch up with friends, family or even colleagues over a good meal :) ! The parking lot out in front is a pretty decent size. But it can fill up pretty quickly when it gets busy! We also love ordering frozen dumplings to go :D ! For sure, we will definitely come back :D ! Kung Fu Noodle never disappoints :) !

The lunch specials came with soup and egg roll, and fried rice. DH ordered his litmus test dish for American style Chinese- General Tso chicken. The portion was generous. The sauce was tasty. The chicken pieces tasted like your average frozen nuggets tossed in sauce. It's that familiar "seasoning" to the chicken and coating- iykyk. Not bad at all, just not the best. He enjoyed his egg drop soup. I opted for Hunan Beef. The sauce was thicker than I prefer, with an almost gelatinous consistency. The hot and sour soup was nice, a little more sour than hot. We both thought the fried rice that came with lunch was a little bland. Maybe the entree version is better? Each special was under $10, and it's definitely a great value.
