I'm only writing about the food/take out since I didn't eat in the restaurant. I was craving some Phō and I was in the Buena Park area near Knotts Berry Farm which Oho Qt showed it was only a block or 2 away. I wanted it to go so I went there and ordered the Pho. The place is located in a small plaza and isn't a big place. If I remember correctly there were about 12 tables or so and a small counter space with seating as well. The lady there was very helpful with the questions and asked if I wanted water while I waited after orderin. After taking me order to go I got to my room the portion size to go was good and well packaged (nothing spilled) and the broth was delicious. The toppings and everything were there. I've eyed this place since it opened (yes, a while ago), and I'm glad I finally made it in. It's been rainy and cool weather for the start of the new year, and pho sounded amazing for lunch. I went straight to the pho section of the menu, offering plenty of classic options. I ordered the Pho Tai Nam -- medium-rare slice steak and brisket. When the bowl arrived, it was huge. There are no size options for the noodle soups, but I know I could take this down. The broth was clean and flavorful, and I didn't need to add any additional sauces. The fresh veggies and lime brightened the bowl, and the noodles were perfect. I also ordered the Iced Tea Lemonade, which was also refreshing and not too sweet. Friends and I came here after spending a day at Knotts Berry Farm. With just a short drive away, it's very convenient to swing by for a bite. It's located in a small strip mall. Parking shouldn't be hard as there are many spaces, unless it's meal time. It's bright and clean inside with mostly tables for 4, but they are able to accommodate by placing tables together for larger groups. The menu is simple. There are enough items to choose from but not like some pho places where it can be overwhelming. We wanted something soupy, so we all got pho. For me, it was #17 (I think) Pho with lean beef, beef meatballs and brisket. There's only one size but it's a pretty big bowl. The broth is decent and overall satisfying. Not the best I've had but good enough to fill all of us up after an active day. There was only one lady there but the service was still prompt and efficient. Wow! I am incredibly impressed with this place. It's among the best pho I've ever had. I ordered the vegetable spring rolls and the beef noodle combo. The broth was so flavorful and the meat was delicious and fatty. The vegetable spring rolls are actually what impressed me the most, I can tell it was fried with good oil, and it was so crispy and delicious. Seriously the best egg rolls I've had! The service was very friendly. The only thing I would say could be improved is the ambiance of the place. Other than that, I had an excellent meal here visiting California. I ordered charbroiled pork vermicelli and shrimp spring roll. The vermicelli was plentiful and there was a good balance of meat, veggies, and vermicelli noodles. Their nuoc mam, the fish sauce, was pretty good as well! They do put the peanuts "separately" with the fish sauce, which is a plus, imo. The one thing I was unpleasantly surprised about was that there were only two spring rolls. Two spring rolls for $10 is a little too much for my wallet. Came here after a full day at Knott's Berry Farm. It's very close by, which is convenient, but more than that, after a full day of walking, and being chilled from the rain, the pho really hit the spot. The broth is tasty and robust, absolutely recommend it. Unfortunately, my noodles were thrown in unseparated (it was in a lump, the same as frozen fresh noodles) that I had to really work to loosen up. It was cooked to the right consistency so no fault there. The meat were a little on the less side than I'm used but I wouldn't call it skimpy. My party and I left very satisfied. The only issue is there is one person at the front who does everything - aside from the usual server responsibilities, she was also handling bussing. She was working as fast as she could so I didn't take a star away. Just be prepared for a bit of wait and having to go up and pay. read more

Located in a strip mall near Knott's, Pho Qt was empty when we entered a bit after 6:00 but started filling up after that. I was a bit put off by the server who seemed to be physically fit young woman with a shaved head who appeared unhappy but was nevertheless efficient and helpful. The pho had a good clear broth and a generous amount of beef that lacked the ultimate complexity of the finest versions. The shrimp with vermicelli noodles had a generous amount of shrimp and good flavor. The place including the bathroom was spotless and reasonably comfortable. This is my go-to spot for pho since it's close to home. The owner is really nice, and the pho is always solid--especially the vegan pho, which is surprisingly great. Ann is so sweet and quick and most important, she understands when working class customers only have limited time for lunch, or dinner. Me and my party of 6 real Vietnamese (aged 18 to 80) visited Pho QT for the first time. We didn't know what to expect beyond the stellar Yelp reviews. Normally small family restaurants are good but only at one thing. This place is ambitious trying to do Pho, Bun, Mi, Com, etc in a tiny strip mall restaurant. They pleased everyone! Most people got Pho Dac Biet. They said the broth was excellent and plenty of beef. I got the Bun Cha Gio Thit Nuong with shrimp and it was quite tasty and filling. I half expected reheated ingredients but no. Everything was freshly made in house. I recommend this place to EVERYONE going to Knotts. How easy it is to get a hand stamp and walk here to have real Viet food that won't weigh you down the rest of the day the way funnel cakes and burgers would. For less money too. They have one dish that will please anyone in your party who is more "steak and potatoes". It's basically cubes of filet mignon and onions stir fried with French fries. $22 but a huge plate. Everything else is around $17 so it is still a deal compared to Knotts snack bars. Inside is not fancy but clean and air conditioned with spotless bathrooms. Apparently everyone else had the same idea so all the other restaurants nearby were packed, so we decided to give this place a try even though there were few reviews. I'm so glad we did! Food was decent but will not be returning solely because of their poor customer service. Initially came to this plaza for ramen but saw the 20% off grand opening sign and decided to give this spot a try. Ordered 2 bowls of pho ~$15 each and 4 egg rolls for $10. The portions are huge and came out fast. The broth was really good, noodle were slightly overcooked. The egg rolls were perfectly crispy, very oily, and came with about 2 tsp of fish sauce, which I thought was weird. My fiancé went to paid the bill without looking at the total, so when he returned to the table I asked if that total included the 20% that was advertised out front. We quickly did the math ourselves and realized it did not, and he went outside to double check the sign to make sure the 20% wasn't limited to a specific date range or time. He came back inside and asked the cashier for a receipt. She understood where this was going, so she preemptively said that the special ended a few days ago but they haven't taken down the sign. Then she changed her answer and said the special ended yesterday. If that's the case, please get your story straight first, and either remove the sign on time or honor what the sign says. I don't care about the 20% discount - you can keep those extra few dollars. But what I do care about is the bait & switch tactic that this business is utilizing to attract customers. read more
