Galbitang (Beef Short Rib Soup) - This is honestly the best galbitang I've had in both OC and LA. The broth is rich and flavorful, and the beef is always fresh and tender. Whenever I'm craving galbitang in the OC/LA area, this is the only place I go. Yukgaejang (Spicy Beef Soup) - The amount of ingredients they give you is amazing. I've had it both dining in and as takeout, and it's consistently delicious every single time. It's perfectly seasoned, and has just the right level of spice. As much as I love the galbitang, I think I actually enjoy the yukgaejang even more. Pork Cutlet (Donkatsu) - This place is known for its galbitang and seolleongtang, so I wasn't expecting much from the donkatsu... but why is it this good? The cabbage salad dressing that comes on the side is seriously addictive. The portion size is huge, there's no way I could finish it by myself. It has the crispy texture of Japanese katsu, while still having a great pork flavor of its own. I honestly think this could be considered one of their signature dishes. We finished our nengmyun and noticed our seafood pancake didn't come out yet. We were about to cancel that order when it finally came out. It was very disappointing. The batter was undercooked and we crunched on a few eggshells. The texture was also too eggy and not enough batter. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

I did end up trying the lomo saltado with another protein (filet) and it was excellent. The meat was so tender and flavorful. I also discovered that you can get free noodles if you're still hungry for your pho, which I have opted to do a few times when I just want one (or two) more bites. The other thing is that it does get super busy during peak time, so I would definitely try to check in when you're closer to the restaurant and maybe run an errand or two if it the wait is long. Also, want to shout out all the workers there, who have been so nice and helpful each time I go there. Sup noodle bar has become my favorite go-to pho place.

The filet mignon was tender and cooked well, but the fries were quite soggy after being mixed with the sauce. Personally, I don't think fries, filet mignon, and rice make the best combination, so it just wasn't my favorite dish. On the positive side, the restaurant was very clean, and our server was friendly, attentive, and provided great service throughout our meal. Overall, it was a good experience, but not memorable enough for me to make a special trip back. Since we were just in the area, I'm glad we gave it a try, but I probably wouldn't return.

AND when they were transferring the ice (from again those trash bins) they would lift it to pour all the ice in to the tea water bin and you can see all the dirty drippings from the outside wheels drip inside the container.. @.@ No its not a one time thing with one employee...they all knew the drill and did it like routine. Me and my friends watched the whole thing while we were just trying to enjoy some drinks at the bar. There is enough bossam to feed probably 4 people. The banchan (small side dishes) are always delicious too. They always have a good variety and they'll refill the side dishes whenever you need. I order the Seafood Soon Tofu almost every time. It contains lots of seafood and has great seafood flavor. The Seafood Pancake and the King Donkatsu are also delicious. They give you a large portion size and there's plenty for leftovers.
