Despite the eatery claiming to be a "Chinese restaurant", the food served here is as Korean as it gets. True, noodles, specifically the Jajiangmian originated in China, but the recipe has been adopted and customized for the Korean clientele. The flavor is distinctly and authentically Korean, heavy on the soupier sauce and having large chunks of onion. It's also sweeter than the Chinese recipe. The noodles were swimming in the sauce, but this is just the way I like it. Customers order at the counter, but the server usually brings the noodles to the table unless they're too busy. The server also brought us an extra bowl for our son, noticing that we only ordered two bowls of noodles and we're likely planning to share. The dining area could accommodate more than a dozen diners, and the area was clean and spacious. There is a shaved ice place right next to it, but hardly anyone was ordering shaved ice, even on a hot day. Best of all, since it's already inside a Korean supermarket, you can get some grocery shopping done after lunch. I have been here for so many times that I've lost count, but finally got a chance to write a deserving review.

I came on a Saturday afternoon, it was not packed at all. Food was served in less than 5 minutes. The black bean noodles with dumplings were SO good! I would come back here to try something else.

Jjajangmyun got better the more I ate it. Esp at the bottom, where I finished the diced meat, veggies, and potatoes that were covered in the sauce. It comes out fast, hot and tastes relatively fresh. One bowl will run you a little less than 15, but it will definitely fill you up! Love the service. Shout-out to Kevin at the front who took my order and diligently cleaned the tables -- may the Lord bless him. One thing I also loved was the menu that was displayed on two TVs near the front -- very clearly designed and easy to read.

Very delicious noodles and sweet and sour pork. The staff are very friendly. The portions are big enough for two people to share.

    3. Jjajangmyun

I really enjoyed my time at Kyodong Noodle. The location is inside of a Korean grocery store, and the seating area was clean. Kevin was our cashier, and he did a wonderful job explaining the different menu options and recommendations. The food itself was great. I had the Jjajangmyun, which was rich and flavorful. I had enough for a meal and some leftover. Would recommend to everyone!

    Menu 11/4/25

We ordered jjajangmyun and tangsuyuk and both were tasty. Staff members were very friendly and pleasantly courteous.

    Jjamppong and Kkanpoong Chicken

I had the Jjamppong and Kkanpoong Chicken at Kyodong Noodle in the H-Mart food court, and both were amazing! The Jjamppong had a rich broth (usually it is spicy but we asked for mine not to be) with perfectly cooked noodles and fresh seafood. The Kkanpoong Chicken was soft, flavorful, and coated in a delicious garlic soy sauce--so addictive. I ate until I couldn't fit any more. The portions were generous, the prices are very good, the service was quick, and the food was super fresh. If you're in the area and craving Korean-Chinese food, definitely check this place out!

the service was fantastic and the employees were extremely friendly. They give a lot of food and have a great variety of options. The environment was really great, and really peaceful. I especially liked the tangsuyuk and jjangmyun.

Great Service! Super friendly workers, clean area, food is top tier, i personally recommend their jjajangmyeon and tangsuyuk. 10/10 will come back!!!

Pretty solid tangsooyook, crispy and sweet and sour sauce is good. Jjajangmyeon is good, not the best but it is good enough.

It's in a small, almost empty-ish plaza, but it's a little mom-and-pop gem. Ambiance (5/5): Walk right in and you'll see that it's on the small side, but a cute and simple restaurant with family vibes. Depending on the time of day, it can feel somewhat empty while at other times somewhat busy. Service (3/5): It's nothing too special, but the workers are always friendly. It's somewhat self serve. You order at the front and then you wait for them to call your order. Then you pick up your tray of food, eat, and place the trays towards the front when done. Food (5/5): Everything we have eaten here over the years is so yummy. Their hot stone bibimbap is chock-full of ingredients with just the right amount of sesame oil and flavor; we often have to pack some of it to go. Their army stew (budaejigae) is my absolute favorite, and I've compared it to a lot of other Korean stew places, some way pricier and this one still takes the cake. It has a wonderful roasted flavor from all the meats they put in and I love going for the ramen first. I always take extra to go since it's small but filling. The best part? Let's not forget that they have self serve all-you-can-eat banchan (side dishes) and they do not skimp on variety. There's your usuals like the napa kimchi, radish kimchi and fish cakes, but they also have mac salad, potato salad, japchae and other goodies which works well for your picky toddlers. Overall, this is a wonderful little restaurant that deserves a visit over and over when you're just craving some comfort korean food at decent prices.

From the friendly service that made us feel like home, to the delicious food, everything hit the spot. We ordered the cold noodle, seafood pancake, bibambap, and short rib combo. All the dishes were so good! And all the banchan that came with it was the cherry on top. The only negative was the table was kind of small for all the dishes...though that could have been user error with us ordering way too much. Portions were surprisingly big, especially the seafood pancake. The whole time, our littlest one was making a mess and the ladies that worked there did not seem perturbed at all, and kept commenting about how cute he was and interacting with him. This type of service and response made us feel more at ease and able to "enjoy" our meal, and that makes a world of difference. I would recommend! Note the parking lot is a little small.

My mom also tried this place and recommended it, so I felt confident this would be a spot I would be coming often. We ordered the naengmyeon combo with spicy marinated pork and a side of soybean paste stew. The lady was nice when she seated us, but seemed a little bothered when we only ordered the above items, because she coldly asked "if that was all" and we said yes. She walked away then yells back asking if we wanted rice because rice wasn't included, and we said no. Despite the rough start with the vibe of the lady who took our order I was still hopeful the food itself would make up for it. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre at best. I've never had naengmyeon that had so much chili flakes, and as someone who doesn't mind them, it was weird. The soybean paste soup was bland. And the side dishes were just okay. After the meal, I got really thirsty and my face was puffy so they are using msg. If it was a good meal, I wouldn't have minded the msg, but for food that was mediocre at best was not worth it. Although I won't be back, I did see people ordering for take out nonstop, so there must be some other dish that is giving them customers.

Food: The soups were quite bland for our taste so we did a bit of customization with salt and pepper. Although they provided a decent amount of banchan, the proteins in their soups were pretty scarce, not worthing the $19 price tags. Their Hae Jang Guk was the only soup with the bone filled up the bowl. However, because there's no space in the small bowl, even a little nudge made its soup spilled all over my sister's body. The waitress just then gave her a bib but the damage had already been done. The Bulgogi and Katsu took the longest to come out but they were the highlights of our meal. Service: We were the only table at the time and our waitress only gave us 2 menus for a table of 6 so we had to go grab our own from other tables. She's not the friendliest and kept tossing things on our table. She also tried taking away a dipping sauce jar after I had already requested to keep it. Our water was never refilled and napkins were very skimmed out. Though she did check up on our tables, her attitude was what made us refrain from asking for help. We love to give smaller businesses a chance, but we're sad to say Jomaru is not one of them.
