Broth was excellent and the waiting staff was super kind. However, my fiancé ended up pretty ill after eating the food. Looking into it I found out the bean sprouts that were served were most definitely spoiled. After working as a restaurant manager I 100% am aware of how dangerous spoiled bean sprouts are. I would really hope that that staff is more cautious about serving rotten food, especially bean sprouts. Such a shame but spoiled food and 2 days of missed work due to food poisoning is unforgivable. read more

What awful people. The service is slow and rude. I am usually willing to overlook it because their food is delicious but our last visit was over the top. I went in with my incredibly sick 8 year old who loves pho. We ordered bobas spring rolls and two med pho's. After we got our pho a server brought us some egg rolls and very kindly said they were for us. Many of the pho restaurants we go to will bing a free app to the table and I thought this was the case here. My daughter took a bite of one and put it on her plate. Then a woman came and started yelling at my daughter saying they weren't hers and she didn't order them. The lady glared at me, picked up the plate and the half eaten one and took them to another table. INCLUDING THE HALF EATEN ONE!! Now my daughter is crying, she's sick and got yelled at by a stranger for eating food given to her, and no one will bring us the check. This place is the worst. read more

Check Your Receipts! Pho Saigon may overcharge you for your meal! Our receipt clearly shows $39.03 with a 20% tip on the meal portion of the bill, but Pho Saigon rounded by almost $2 to charge us $41.00! Many people don't keep or check their receipts, but this has also happened at iSushi (801 Santa Fe Dr.). The risk to the restaurant is low, because in both instances, we merely corrected it with the charge card company, and the restaurant still got paid the full amount. They run your card when you pay the bill, but they don't run it again after you add the tip, so after you leave, they can fill in a total "with tip" that's higher than what you wrote on the receipt. If you don't check and correct it, they get away with a couple dollars here and there, and if done on a regular basis, it can add up. They'll just claim it was an innocent mistake, but don't let them take advantage of you! read more

This is an excellent Vietnamese restaurant. I do not order crab cheese wontons at most restaurants, but at Pho Saigon they actually put crab in them, and they are delicious. The boba drinks are fun and tasty. I have not tried most things on the menu because I almost always order the vermicelli noodle bowl, but my dining companions are always happy with whatever they order. Best of all, the prices are modest. I would offer one small piece of constructive criticism: It's a bit difficult to get the attention of the wait staff. read more

One extremely bad experience ruined this place for me, forever. I used to love this place and so did my family. I had never eaten in the restaurant and always ordered it to go. Well, one day I decided to show a friend the great food there and dined in... biggest mistake! There was this waiter there who seemed like he had it out for me as soon as I hit the door. He was less than pleasant and was chewing gum(even though the management insisted they didnt let their staff chew gum.) I ordered my usual, Combination Rice Noodle Bowl. I was thoroughly enjoying myself and my friend was too. When I got close to being done I noticed something in my bowl that didnt belong... can you guess? Yep, there was a chewed up piece of gum in there!!! I alerted the staff right away but management never came to my table. They were all in the back peering at me through the kitchen door window. I was livid! When I started getting loud insisting that the manager come to my table someone finally showed up.. Then you know what they did? They acted like I put the gum in the food, they didnt outright say it but their suggestions were enough. I called the police because they actually wanted me to pay for it. My friend couldnt believe how I was treated. They finally told me that I didnt have to pay and to never, ever come back. Hah, like I would want to?!? I even tried to tell the management about the waiter but they didnt want to hear it. They werent even concerned until other patrons started getting up and walking out of the restaurant. One patron though, that apparently always goes there, stuck up for them and told me "Gee, why did you wait till you had eaten almost the whole bowl?". WTF? I was made to feel like I was a criminal when I was the one that endured someone elses spittle/chewed gum in my food. Thanks for the potential Hepatitis or mono or whatever other bad bacteria you can get from peoples mouths! read more

This place was my first pho experience, and I'm glad. The first time I had it was about a week ago. It was during the lunch hour and the place was PACKED. I figured we'd have a wait, but we were seated right away. The service was pretty quick and friendly. I ordered the small chicken pho--a rookie move by my friend's standards. It was fantastic! The small is a pretty ample size. My friend ordered the large and the bowl was big enough to fit about two of the smalls in there! The flavors of the broth, the condiments, and the veggies and herbs were awesome. The veggies were fresh and plentiful. I quickly became a fan. We also had the shrimp and pork rolls. While the peanut sauce was pretty good, the pork didn't have very much flavor. After not being able to get pho off my mind, I went back a couple of days ago. I got a little more adventurous and ordered the beef meatball pho to go. It was pretty good, too. I got an order of crab cheese rangoon as well, and they were tasty. Just the right amount of sweetness. I know I will be back here again. Don't forget to get yourself a boba drink on the way out. The mango is pretty awesome! read more

My husband works nearby so we always order takeout. This place has one of the best tasting pho broths in the area! We live further east where the pho tastes pretty "meh", so having this place on the way is a blessing. Spring rolls are pretty awesome too! read more

Been a while since I yelped, mostly cause I was away from home scoping out the Englewood scene. Now I'm back, and first order of business: Pho Saigon is really awesome. Granted, we've only got a couple vietnamese restaurants in baton rouge, so I'm no authority on the food. What I do know is that most of the restaurants I went to in Englewood and Denver were expensive, compared to Louisiana prices. Pho Saigon was very reasonably priced. Not in the mood for pho, I ordered one of the rice noodle bowls. Normally I would get banh mi, but they didn't sell them here. However, my noodle bowl wasn't disappointing. Well, not really anyway. It was the combo bowl so I swear it said it came with chicken, beef, shrimp, and egg roll. My bowl did not have chicken. Now there is a small chance I misread the menu and it wasn't supposed to have chicken, so I don't take any points off for that. The only other bad thing about this bowl: the shrimp. There were two shapeless red masses in the bowl next to the beef and egg rolls. I picked one up with the chopsticks, inspected it carefully, and after close scrutiny managed to eek out a "what is this, I don't even". My brother, eating less carefully who had ordered the same bowl, had already chowed down on one and proclaimed it the shrimp. Folks, I don't know how they managed to ruin a shrimp like that, but it did not have the shape, texture, or taste of a shrimp. My only guess: They had butterflied the shit out of it, then perhaps attempted to tenderize it with a hammer. I didn't like the sauce on it, though I couldn't place it. That being said, just don't get the shrimp bowl. Get the beef one, or the egg roll one. This bowl was HUGE and the beef and egg roll were delicious. Granted I only got to eat here once, but if I were to go back I would do some exploration with the pho (even the small bowl would fill you up - I saw all 3 sizes while eating and the large looks like about 3 meals), or maybe some of the stir fries and the smoothies. Perhaps the chicken or pork noodle bowls as well. The old man at the counter was very nice as well, telling me the names of a couple of places to get good banh mi, but I never made it out to them during my visit. My only other complaint would be our server - though he was "attentive" and checked on us a few times, he also moved a little too fast. If he asked if you were doing alright and you said "Yes," - with the comma, and started to continue your speech with "but could I get a -" he would have walked off by the time you finished "could". So do not say Yes if he asks this. Be straight and to the point. Regardless, this food was way too delicious for me to give them less than 4 stars. With a tip my meal came to $10 even and I had breakfast the next day as well. One last word of warning - if you get some of your meal to go, be VERY careful when closing the small rectangular styrofoam boxes. They are top heavy, so hold the bottom still while closing the lid or it WILL spill over on you. I wound up wearing a portion of my meal after trying to box it up. Not their fault I guess, but I felt cheated out of some delicious noodles. Anyway, go here. You will thank yourself. read more

I visited Pho Saigon last night, and I won't be there anymore. I ordered my regular order - a large Pho combination (P-9 on the menu). The waiter charged me over $11 and the price should be around $8 per-tax. I gave him a chance to correct the price, but he won't do that. So long Pho Saigon. read more

This bustling pho restaurant is nestled in the strangely vast Home Depot parking lot at Boston and Arapahoe. They have reliably good rice noodle dishes and soups. Sometimes the quality of the meat seems so-so and service can be a bit slow, but for low priced eats in the area, this is a solid pick. read more

The PHO alone is my favorite, but the service is absolutely horrible. Had to flag people down to tell them I'm ready to order, ran out of drink and no one came to fill it up until I was leaving. They all sit and eat with their family and co-workers and don't pay any attention to their customers. Maybe the dinner shift is better but still. This is the best place to go for pho. I have gone several times and every time everyone is super friendly and the food comes out in 5 to 10 minutse. The food is amazing and the portions are very big for the price. I definitely recommend this restraunt to all pho lovers. read more

We had made a large to go order last week , not sure if that was the reason for delivering order in insufficient quantity and also not giving any chicken in a kung pao chicken dish . One of the dish we had ordered was shrimp fried rice , I had the same item at their restaurant multiple times and could clearly tell they didn't provide the portion in right quantity , it was half the size of the right quantity they provide at the restaurant . Not sure if they were using the fact that it was a large delivery and so we will ignore the fact but providing less quantity is not ethical . The other order which was a kung pao chicken didn't any chicken piece in it , only thing in the dish was peanut , bakchoy and lot of onions .. again this was completely unacceptable and wrong , we had to throw the dish away ... I would expect the owners to take notice of this and do something about the situation so it doesn't get repeated again . Otherwise you are going to lose customers like me read more

We get takeout from here regularly, and occasionally eat in. The pho is consistently delicious and well seasoned. The egg rolls are a little more hit and miss but usually amazing. I also like the noodle bowls when I don't feel like soup, and the broth has helped me recover from a cold or a sinus infection more than once. Takeout is almost always ready on time; service eating in can be a little slow, usually not ridiculous. read more

I guess I really can't say if this place is the best or not....what I can say is I am so happy and excited I found it, and that it is near my house. You can go anywhere for Pho. But this place, even in its difficult-to-get-to location, is still worth the stop. We went for a work lunch around 11:30 am and if we had gotten there any later we wouldn't have gotten a table. The place was packed! And after ordering I can see why. The pho itself was spectacular, and they gave me way more meat than some other restaurants I have been to. My coworker had me try her egg roll. I dislike egg rolls, but these were amazing. The coconut water was a great surprise and the coffee boba made my day. Taking our orders and bringing the food was quick, but it was hard to track down a waiter after the food was placed. Seeing how completely slammed they were, I wasn't going to judge them too harshly. Overall a great hole in the wall place at which I may become a regular. read more

I love this place!!! Don't get this one confused with the one on Quebec. They aren't related, and this location will tell you so (probably because the one on Quebec is DISGUSTING!!). I come here as often as I can because their food is simply delicious. I always order their Bun Dac Biet. The shrimp is amazing... all the meat is. The vietnamese egg rolls are the best I have had anywhere. They are actually so good I get a side order of them to go with my meal. I have never had to wait to eat there, and the service is quick.
