We really enjoyed this place! Our waitress was nice & quick. Food tasted great. My fiancé really liked that his sesame chicken was lightly breaded & fried, so you could really taste the sauce (not super greasy). We got this in the photo along with shrimp spring rolls (bomb), a Thai tea w/ boba and a beer for $60 before tip! So great price for Denver!

iwai old fashion. Not my favorite as it tasted more like scotch

Was excited to try this place because it has been recommended to me by a few different people. The food overall was delicious. I'm a baby with spice so it was a bit spicy but my fiancé disagreed. I love the sesame chicken especially the little bite sized pieces! I usually love an old fashion but there was more like scotch than whiskey so not a big fan. They were slammed so services wasn't the best but they were trying their best!

Nice spot for a good wholesome meal. Had taro fries, spring rolls, and pho. The fries and spring rolls were delicious and fresh. Would definitely order those again. The pho was very traditional and delicious the broth is good on its own honestly but of course they have hoison and Sriracha for whomever wants. Plenty of noodles and additives to go along with your soup. They have benches and tables and service is friendly and fast. Will be back!

Yes, I know--I order the same thing every time. But it's just *so* good, I honestly can't help myself . Around 4:30 PM on a Saturday, the place was wide open for dine-in, and the service was friendly and fast. I didn't snap a photo, but I *did* treat myself to dessert: peach egg rolls with vanilla ice cream. And if I'm being totally honest... they were even better than the apple ones. All in all, this spot continues to hit the mark every time. Great food, friendly service, and a dessert that's worth every bite. I'll definitely be back--probably ordering the same thing again, and loving it just as much.

ZOMO is a tried and true neighborhood establishment. It's the textbook definition of humble beginnings and a wonderful family story. I discovered this place when I moved to Denver in 2019. It's one of the crown jewels of the Englewood community. This part of South Broadway is a favorite of mine as it's filled with locally owned businesses. The crazy thing about it is that it always seems to be packed. I've never not seen the dining room full during dinner. And if the weather permits, they have tons of patio seating for your enjoyment. Perfect for a beer or cocktail with your meal. The fusion of Asian and American cultures works exquisitely. You'll see mostly Vietnamese and Chinese American influence on the menu. Whatever you order will be made with love from the family who's cooking behind the scenes. Mama Chi is a sweetheart and an extremely talented chef. Yellow Curry ($19) // carrots, broccoli, snow peas, and pumpkin in savory coconut curry broth, served w/ jasmine rice, topped w/ crunchy fried onions. This has been my current obsession the last two times I've been here. It's savory, it's sweet, it's oh so comforting. The broth is velvety, the chicken tender, and the soft white rice with the crunchy fried onions makes for the ideal cold weather meal. It's like a warm blanket. The other must have dishes are the Kansas State Fair Egg Rolls, Grandma's Meatloaf, and the customizable Pho options. Their menu has something for everyone. Your heart and your belly will leave full and satisfied. It's no wonder they've been on Yelp's Top 50 Places to Eat numerous times. The community adores this place. This is fusion done right. It's intentional, authentic, and a testament to their upbringing. ZOMO, never leave us!

My boyfriend and I used to go here all the time but just forgot about it then stumbled across it again and remembered that we liked it. So glad we went in to try their lunch/brunch menu! The best chicken and waffles of my LIFE! Pandan flavor is so good in the bubble waffle and the flaky, light breading in the chicken is perfect. They could open a business just selling those chicken tenders honestly. Can't wait to go back! Service is always great and I love how they have a little shared outdoor seating area for when the weathers nice!

Looks like I forgot to write an updated review for this restaurant for my recent visit to it about three weeks or so ago. I must write; it's a bit belated. It was a dine-in experience on a cold Saturday before a concert nearby. I told my date about this place where my take out experience a year or so ago wasn't so great and yet I had been meaning to give it a second try someday. My dine in experience (this time) was far better than my last one. It was around 5pm (like I said on a Saturday.) We just showed up without any reservation but were able to seat with no issue. The only thing was that we'd have 2 hours to finish our dinner which was told by the receptionist; this was no problem. By the way, she welcomed us upon arrival. Our waitress was also pleasant to us. She was attentive to our needs; we didn't lack any during our entire visit. He had a fried rice with chicken in it. This was very good (to say the least; great amount of seasoning but not salty.) My veggie stir fry dish was also exceptionally tasty; all the vegetables were fresh and crunchy. In other words, they weren't mushy at all. I could tell that they used fresh ingredients for everything we ordered (we also had the shrimp spring rolls.) I did remember from my first visit to here that the restaurant was very clean. That was the case for the night we dined. Based on this experience, my updated review this time is at least 4 stars. We will definitely go back and dine again because we want to try other things on the menu. We'll be sure to make a point to do so as soon as this month (January of 2025), if not, in February.

    Takeout Tofu Fried Rice

Zomo is consistently delicious and comforting Asian food. From the fried rice to the egg rolls, the food is fantastic - it just has a quality and flavor that you don't find often. The restaurant is always packed, both tables and the bar. We have only ordered takeout, but have always had a quick and delightful experience. Food is ready on time, and the staff are king and quick to assist. They allow options to make food vegan where possible, and have many options for vegetarians alike. Whenever we are craving a good fried rice, Zomo is our go to. They consistently hit the mark like no other place has! Highly recommend.

Niko always happy eating w/ aunti Alysia!
    Kenneth P.

Zomo isn't just a restaurant--it's a true family experience. Ryan and Alysia have built more than a business here; they've built a community. From cousins to grandmas, multiple families come together to bring authentic Vietnamese flavors to locals, and it shows in every bite. The fried rice? Just like my auntie's--something I've never been able to recreate. Behind the bar, Charlie ("Dung") is always innovating. His Vietnamese-style espresso martini is one of the best I've ever had, and the pho-back shot (yes, that's Japanese ume whiskey with a pho broth chaser!) is a warm, bold surprise you need to try. Most of all, Zomo is a place where you feel taken care of. My little one has grown up visiting here, and they've always gone above and beyond to make sure he's happy--so we can actually enjoy our meal. Delicious, heartfelt, and reasonably priced--Zomo is everything a modern Vietnamese family restaurant should be.

    Yellow Curry with Chicken
    Erin S.

Have been to Zomos a few times before. They offer good a good fusion menu of Asian cuisine and Midwest American home style cooking. We were sat right away and moments later our waitress was at the table greeting us. We ordered the egg rolls for appetizers and I ordered the Yellow Curry with chicken (light spice) for my entree. The egg rolls came out pretty quickly and were very good. The dipping sauce was a great flavor to add to the egg rolls. Unnecessarily, they added Bibb lettuce and some veggies so you can make lettuce wrap with the egg rolls, I don't think this is a thing, but could be wrong. It was at this point, we were left for a good 30 minutes without anyone checking in or swinging by the table. Zomo was not overly busy so the wait for our entrees was a bit bizarre considering how quickly we were waited on in the beginning. When the food arrived, it was as delicious as ever. The coconut base of the curry paired so well with the chosen spices that I was equally happy when I realized I had left over for dinner the next night. Zomo is yum! Regardless of the hiccup with service, it's still high quality, delicious food!

This is a great stop in Englewood/Denver area. Unique fusion menu with many interesting choices. We sat at the bar and enjoyed superb service and food. The place is very popular so it can be difficult getting a table at peak times. It is worth the wait. The "traditional eats" are amazing. This restaurant has an excellent price/value relationship.

Are dogs in bags allowed to dine in?

Not sure but I haven't seen and dogs in the restaurant. It's pretty small inside and usually crowded. If the weather is nice there is an outdoor patio where you could have a dog.

Chicken, chewy and mushy and not normal meat texture AT ALL. If they're "velveting" it, it's excessive and gross. Chicken Fried rice was okay. But so bland and mushy and wet. The curry had a lot of the mushy chicken and almost no veggies. One broccoli, 3 large chunks of mostly raw red pepper. No peanuts. A few snow peas. Pad Thai. Not good. Weirdest and close to worst pad Thai I've ever had. It had a grainy texture to the sauce and was really thick and really bland but sweet all at once. Just a container of red mush noodles and red mush chicken. Why? I really can't understand what is happening. Is this like premade canned or frozen and super cheap so they're selling it? Pad Thai at better Thai restaurants isn't super hard to make and is much nicer. I am just super confused by it. It really reminded me of Thai cup of noodle microwave ramen-like food I've tried at Asian grocery stores. The gyoza were okay. A little harder and drier than we would have preferred and not crispy by their arrival. I could never order here again because we tried such a broad array and its quality was just horrible over all. Even the rice was mushy and very clearly not high quality jasmine rice. Nothing seemed Thai-like at all. Nothing was fresh, light, savory, or vibrant, all things I associate with food thai food. I'm sure with a few pivotal changes they could perk up the menu.

The server did bring out an ice bucket to put it in, but it was way too late to chill the bottle. I scoured the menu for specialty rolls that didn't come with loads of gloopy sauces on top and didn't find any. I really despise Americanized sushi rolls that are covered in sauce, but I ordered 2 of the more appetizing-looking ones along with the new style sashimi and salmon sashimi. The new style sashimi was described as coming with cilantro (which is how it usually comes) but there was no cilantro in sight and instead they were covered in copious amounts of jalapeños. The cuts were also pretty butchered, particularly given the cost. The rolls were palatable, but entirely too big for my mouth, which just makes eating a bit like choking. As I was pondering to see if I should go to more of a sit-down restaurant, Asuka's quick poke bowl sounded like a much better choice so I rushed the one on Broadway between the gym and yoga. I stepped in to be greeted by the lady in charge of the kitchen and the register. She was still finishing up the guest ahead of me but once she was done she came to take my order. I went with the Build-Your-Own bowl. The lady was efficient in asking me which ingredients I would want for my nutrient-rich bowl. She was wasting no time and effort and yet she wasn't rushing to get rid of me either (LOL!!) She sounded like she is/was used to handling a long line of people but never forgets/forgot the routine of good service. Once my bowl was perfectly crafted, she had a quick and yet genuine thank you to say. She then moved on to the next person in line. By then there were several people in line. Once I had paid I took the time to look at the interior decorations. And they are quite cute! The umbrella decors on the ceiling are one of them to mention. The dining area is not big and yet it can hold a good number of guests. Quite tidy and clean indeed. Between the location down the street from my house on Yosemite and this one, this location is quite more lively. The Yosemite location seemed a bit smaller than this one. Let's talk the quality of the bowl! Very fresh! From the crunchy cucumber pieces that snapped as I ate it to protein (salmon and tofu) to al the fixings that topped the bowl, everything tasted surprisingly and refreshingly delicious.
