Good pho! We got a takeout order, one beef pho and one seafood pho. The pho was delicious, lots of good add-ins. The seafood pho was just shrimp. The price was a bit high and there's not a lot of vegetarian options but otherwise it wasn't bad. Would recommend.

Great food! Very authentic and and affordable! All ingredients were super fresh! The decor is very unassuming and the staff are very polite and attentive.

spring rolls, seafood pho, beef pho

The restaurant itself was comfy and quiet, it seems to be family owned and the waitress was very friendly and attentive. The spring rolls with the peanut sauce were an awesome appetizer. There was sriracha, crunchy chili oil, and hoisin sauce to dress the pho, the beef broth I got was very rich and there was more beef chunks in it than i thought there would be. The serving was large and very filling. One of the best bowls of beef pho i've had!

Extremely worthwhile and underrated! A friend brought me to this small restaurant promising rich and "hits the spot" Pho and it was just that. It's easy to miss when driving by but the food is truly something worth stopping for. Right when you walk in, staff makes it easy to order or pickup takeout and you're more than welcome to take a seat at one of the booths or tables. Our waitress who I believe might also be the owner was kind and helpful when ordering as well! I even brought my mother and few months later who is often not fond of new foods and she finished the whole bowl better than me! Our Pho came with a small plate full of bean sprouts, mint leaves, cilantro, and limes on the side to add as you please. A bowl alone is enough to fill you up for a while but the appetizers shouldn't be forgotten either. My mom who makes good salsa/chile and sauce at home was a big fan of the chili oil they had too! They had a vegetarian Pho option with vegetarian broth for a friend of mine which was really neat to find. Small but mighty and cozy with absolutely delicious food you must try!

First time for Vietnamese food so I may not know what I'm talking about. So let's start with the restaurant. Right between Le Andros (a favorite breakfast place) and Buffalo pizza and wings (Buffalo NY style pizza that is OMG good) in a low traffic strip mall. Inside is nice, the waitress was a sweet you lady that struggles with English. The food was bland. My uncle had Vietnamese food before and said there was a powder you sprinkled on the food to spice it up but this place did not have it. The April rolls were fantastic. I will try another Vietnamese place before passing judgement on the cuisine but Pho Special is not so special.

Today was pretty chilly and I was in the mood for some pho. I actually haven't had pho since I moved to Michigan from Washington, DC three years ago. I was thankful to find a pho place close to my house that had good reviews! I went ahead and drove over and I was really glad I did! The space is new and it was really nice inside. I was greeted and seated right away. It was pretty busy for a Monday night, but the weather is bleh so everyone had my same idea. Standard Vietnamese pho menu, so I opted for the spring rolls and summer rolls, shrimp fried rice for the kiddo and I got the beef pho #4. Our small plates came out fast, and were really delicious. But the main star is the pho. The broth is really flavorful. That's the sign of a good pho, when you don't have to add anything to it, it's just made really well. Alton Brown said it's a sin to put sriracha in anything, guess I'll take my chances! I heaped some sriracha, hoisin and chili into my pho along with the bean sprouts, Thai basil and peppers. This was a really delicious bowl of pho, I will probably dream about it tonight and be happy I have some left over for lunch tomorrow. Definitely a great find, good food, good prices, great service! You are now my new fave! Pho-sho!

So good! I go here at least 3 times a month! Everything I've had so far is delicious! I usually get the beef stew pho because it's got carrots (yum). The shrimp fried rice is something special! My husband gets it every time, trust me, it's like no other! The service is fast and professional! Chefs kiss

Good taste but a little pricey, considering no other pho around then it's worth it. I tried the soup

There was very little curry sauce so serve over rice. The basil fried rice didn't taste like anything resembling Basil fried anything. The vegetables (just onion and peppers) in there were huge as well. It was more bad Chinese than Thai. I'm not running back for the Pad Thai either. Not bad but not oh so delicious I would drive 30 minutes to get it.

So, when I was scrolling through DoorDash, I thought, "Why not give Thai Tanic a try?" And let me tell you--I do not regret it! The food instantly reminded me of that cozy Thai spot on East 26th Street in New York. Thai Tanic is now officially my go-to Thai restaurant. I ordered takeout, but I couldn't help but notice how cute the restaurant's interior was, with its tropical greenery decor. The staff was also incredibly friendly. I placed my order ahead of time, and the estimated wait was spot-on--no extra delays. I love a good Tom Yum soup, and this one did not disappoint. It had the perfect balance of acidity, wasn't overly spicy, and featured fresh vegetables. For dinner, I went with the Combination Meal (available only online) with Pork Fried Rice. The sides included Garlic Delight Tofu and Masaman Potato Curry with Mixed Veggies. Each dish was packed with flavor! The Fried Rice wasn't greasy or overly buttery--just rich in taste. The Masaman Potato Curry was my absolute favorite; the coconut milk and curry consistency were spot-on, with no single ingredient overpowering the others. I'll definitely be ordering from Thai Tanic again and highly recommend it to anyone in the area. You won't regret it! Next time, I'm getting the Masaman Potato Curry with a side of white rice--no question about it!

There is some home sauce in the sandwich. It's ok. The vermicelli is quite different. Not loving the rolls, the Vietnamese pickles and the tofu so much, the skin of the rolls are rather soggy. The pickles are an odd texture and flavor to me. The tofu sometimes has an Indian curry seasoning to it. Overall it's not what I expected at all. It's a different riff on the vermicelli bowl, but it didn't do it for me. Ate my egg and meat and left the rest behind, mostly.

I had gotten any orders from everybody in the house and I placed the order at the register. I was very surprised at how quickly I got the order. Wow amazing! Now this was the first time I had gotten food from this place. As I grabbed the bags that were tied shut, my brain said you should check the order. But then I thought, I am the only person in the restaurant, I'm sure they got it right. Well, I was missing two of my items. I decided that the next day I had to go about a block from where the restaurant is, I'll pop in and tell them what happened. When I told the person at the counter, the question out of their mouth was, well, why didn't you come back. I told them I was not nearby and that by the time I was coming back home, they were closed. They did give me the refund on the two items, but I thought it was an odd question to ask me before never saying that they were sorry they messed up my order. Now, the food we received was delicious. The bread, the fillings, were amazing. My wife's bowl, she loved it. The egg roll rolls were perfect. My only complaint about the egg rolls, was that they don't have a sauce for them. They do have a hot sauce that is very nice. But I was looking more for a plum sauce type of thing. I would definitely go back there again, but I will check my order before I leave the building. They have a small seating area that is very well appointed. I think that most of their business is carry out.
