This might be some of the worst Vietnamese food I've ever had. My parents ordered a bunch of things for takeout for us to share: -Spring rolls - they don't use rice paper, so that's an immediate no in my book. The fish sauce also had way too much sugar in it -Grilled beef banh mi - beef was bland and the bread was chewy -Grilled chicken over rice - they use chicken breast instead of chicken thigh, which I have never seen in my life -Grilled pork over rice - colorless and dry Maybe their pho is better since it is in their restaurant name? My family and I stopped in to get some takeout for dinner a couple of weeks ago. We were able to place the order relatively quickly. We ordered (1) lemongrass porkchop and (1) lemongrass chicken as well as a Thai iced tea to be made without milk because in lactose intolerant. They said it would take about 15 minutes for the order to be fulfilled. We left do to a quick stand and came back afterwards. One of the employees told me when we went to pick up our order that they had lactaid milk in stock so he added that to my Thai iced tea. I appreciated that. I had asked my chicken entree not to be charred as much. The vegetables were good but the chicken was chewy; it wasn't the best. And the rice was a bit al dente. The porkchop was the same. I stopped in here before work and it's a cozy restaurant. I sat in the front and was able to people watch and wave at the people passing by or waiting for the bus. The menu was a bit limited but I ordered the Set A (pho, appetizer, drink) for $22 which was not bad since all phos were $12.99 and you can order any pho for Set A. The service was excellent. They were very attentive. They gave us hot water as part of our request and extra small bowls. I found the pork lemongrass rice was really good. It was thick and tender. I've never had it like that before and I can't go to any other place now. They even gave two pork chops. My usual place is usually only one, thin, and tougher than here. The pho was good but not mind-blowing. I needed it hotter and the meat not fully cooked either. It did taste healthier with less sodium. I have visited a few more times for take out. The beef brisket pho was quite delicious. I love their takeout packaging. It's very thoughtful and you have everything you need. I also tried the beef banh mi which exceeded my expectations. It was so pretty good especially the sauce. I wish they cut my banh mi in half though. The shrimp summer rolls were just okay. They were quite small in size and felt like it was mostly rice noodles. The peanut sauce was not bad and it's thoughtful that the peanut was separate. Ordered takeout from here a few times because they had an amazing UberEats deal for buy 1 get 1 free sliced brisket pho and yogurt drinks. Packaging was always meticulous and pick up/delivery usually seamless, although it once took over 30minutes of waiting to pick up an order on the weekend. The pho broth doesn't taste exactly like other typical Vietnamese restaurants but they claim it is MSG free and it does appear less oily and it tasted great. We weren't a big fan of the sliced brisket meat but they are nice enough to offer replacement options of grilled chicken, pork or shrimp (we prefer the chicken and pork). Have also tried their spring rolls (average) and their summer rolls (huge and tasty with the peanut sauce). They offered a free Thai iced tea Ubereats deal with orders over $40 - boba wasn't great so would just get it without. My husband is a little bit of a pho snob and I didn't want to make it from scratch on a weeknight so we decided to take our kids to dinner at Pho Table. We drove from Bay Ridge and lucked out with a parking spot on a residential street close by. The restaurant is on the smaller side but still has a decent amount of tables. They were able to accommodate our party of 6 comfortably. My first impression once we stepped inside was how nice the people behind the counter were. We took a little while trying to figure out what the kids want to eat and our server was patient. We ended up going with 2 Passionfruit sodas, 2 strawberry smoothies for the kids to share, 2 of the house special pho for my husband and I, 3 orders of their rice dish that came with grilled chicken, pork and beef alongside one fried egg roll/spring roll for the kids, and a grilled pork Vietnamese sandwich to go. Pho broth was flavorful and hit all the right spots. There were pieces of beef meatballs, tendon, tripe and brisket. The noodle to meat ratio was great and everything tasted really good. We were thoroughly impressed. My kids liked their egg rolls too and had leftovers to bring home which became a life saver come lunchtime the next day. This is my second time back (20 days later) as I am just traveler. If this location was closer I would become one of their VIP regular customers . My second food experience here is just as good if not better than my first time here. So happy that this restaurant is focused on food consistency & cleanliness standards. I had the sliced brisket noodle soup and house made spring rolls. The broth of the noodle soup was fresh, light not overly heavy, aromatic, slightly sweet and perfectly salted, and definitely does not have MSG. I can taste the difference because I get so thirsty every time I eat something with MSG in it. Big & generous portions as well: You get 1 1/2 portion compared other V restaurants. This is the one of the best & healthiest pho broth I ever tasted. The beef was the perfect texture, it melts in your mouth and tastes fresh as well. Their spring rolls are made in house. It is made with minced seasoned pork, carrots & shiitake mushrooms rolled in a thin spring roll wrapper (at least that's what I saw when I took a bite out of it). It comes with 3 thin rolls per order. I ate one roll by itself to test the flavoring and the remaining two with the lettuce wrap and pickled carrots plus radish. It was light, crispy and flavorful. It was delicious! I definitely will order these two items again on my next visit. Yes, I plan to eat here again. This is my favorite Vietnamese in the Bensonhurst area of Brooklyn. There were vendors on the streets that took up all the parking spots on the main avenue. Parking tip: Look for parking on the side streets (residential area not commercial area where all the shops are). You can save $ on meters too. Or if you live in NYC just use public transportation like the subway or bus or even Uber/lyft. You can always order take out as well instead of dinning in. You immediately feel very welcomed hehe. The bowls are ginormous! There was a lot of noodles, but I thought the ratios were pretty good. We also tried the hot and cold Vietnamese coffee. Observations: - Grilled Chicken Sandwich: OK (3 out of 5 stars). Pho Table currently isn't using the right bread for the sandwich, but they hope to change that soon. I am pulling for this business. I have five reasons for that. 1.) I arrived at about 5 pm, and it was plenty busy. The joint was jumping with every kind of customer and even as I was leaving the business showed no signs of slowing down. Bear in mind they close at 8 pm. There is no way they looked ready to call it a night. 2.) The staff is cute and genuine. When a mistake is made, they own it. Everybody from Tee, the cute female barista, to the owner (might have been the owners son, but I am not sure), is highly on their game and sees to it that you will enjoy what you order. Maybe it is due to the fact they are new, but it is working. 3.) The menu is small and compact, without any compromises. Five Guys is the best example of that a smaller menu can produce massive results. When I asked them about adding more items, the owner was adamant about his offerings and stood by them. No arguments there. Stick to it. Aside from a few drink options, the food options are pho and banh mi. That is it. 4.) Portion sizes are generous. I got a pork banh mi and a pho, and both are plentiful. Plenty of meat, plenty of noodle, and the broth is piping hot long after the bowl hits the table. That is because they cook it for 23 hours. It also tastes fresh because they are constantly removing impurities and the fat that accumulates in the broth. Too many times the broth begins to taste like sewer water after a few minutes; this did not. I also am appreciative that they add plenty of noodle the pho. You will not walk away hungry here. At. All. 5.) The taste of the food backs up the product. The meat is a little dry, and needs some hoisin and sriracha to give it a lift, but it is fresh and tasty. I inhaled everything in front of me because it was all apparently so delicious, much to the chagrin of Tee. -- Before I left, I mentioned to some of the staff that I hope they stick around for more than six months. It bothers me when small businesses do not stick around because times are tough and rents get so high that their overhead cannot match the rent. My heart wants them to stay, but I give them a year to make or break their business. I really hope the former happens. read more

They had me at 23 hour broth. I went early cause I had a feeling there would be a lunch rush and I was right. Place had a wait before noon time. They food looked and tasted yummy. I haven't written a review in a long time, but this place made me come out of hiding. read more
