One of the OG pho spots fir me! Its located in a good spot if you're at Seattle Center for an event. Parking can be a bit difficult around the area. Their food is soooooo good though! This was the one place I've tried and my first boyfriend from high school also went here. I guess people know of this spot from around Seattle!! Overall I would rate price 4/5, food 3.5/5, service 5/5. If you're looking for a budget friendly restaurant in downtown with family style friendly service, I highly recommend Pho Viet Anh! We ordered spring roll, fried chicken wings, pho and bun. The appetizers were slightly disappointing, but the entrée were good, especially the bun. What I appreciate most was the friendly service. I'd say this spot has been my favorite thus far of my hunt for pho restaurants in the Seattle area. There's only one size; however, the portion is just the right amount. It's a pretty decent size and left feeling very full. Second time here and so far broth has been consistent. I always order the veggie tofu pho with beef broth cause "health" and "balance" is key . The broth has been on point and has such a clean flavor. There's more of that depth flavor if you get your pho with meat of course. The shrimp and pork fresh spring rolls had nice flavor as well! So far, this is one of the better pho places I've tried in Seattle. When we came, the place was packed, but we got seated quickly. The menus however, took a while to get to our table when we saw other tables being sat an given menus to right away. Not a huge deal. I ordered the pho with meatballs and steak. When it came out, I was pleasantly surprised when each of our bowls of pho came on separate plates with veggies for us individually. I usually add a ton of hoisin sauce to my pho, but I tasted the broth first, and it was already really flavorful, not too watery or greasy. The noodles weren't clumped at all, and had a great chew to them. I'm picky with the meats as well, but the meatballs tasted sweeter than other spots, which I personally liked a lot better. The steak had almost no fat on it, which I was happy about - I hate peeling off the large strands of fat in some meats. For the price, it's a really good bowl of pho. The service was okay, nothing amazing, but the place itself is really cozy and homey. Again, so far, the best bowl of pho I've had so far, out of about 4 places I've tried so far. read more

Although the taste was not strong but it didn't make me uncomfortable compared to other places that used a ton of MSGs. The noodles was well cooked and still chewy. Small restaurant a short block away from the Maxwell Hotel just north of the City Center. Hardworking crew serving great tasting hot pho in a cute little building that looks like it used to be a house. The Brisket Pho came in hot and was super yummy in my tummy! The brisket was falling apart tender. Vegetable Spring Rolls were tasty with the accompanying sauce. Chicken and Noodle Pho for the kids was super easy to order and they got it right the first time. On our way back from Canada, we agreed to make a stop here for dinner before heading back home. It has always been delicious here, and so glad we found this place on a whim. It's our go to Pho spot when we're in town. The very first time we had their food, took us back to that same spot again our 2nd time around. Flavors are consistent. We even sat in the same spot too. I rarely ever crave pho these days, but my mom had heard about this place from some Vietnamese food blogger so we gave it a try. I thought the lantern decor was cute. Being from San Jose, it was weird to me that the menu was in English only, but we did hear Vietnamese being spoken in the kitchen. Regular steak pho $10.50: Portion size is good, and meat quality was pretty good and tender as well. The broth just didn't do it for me. Perhaps a bit too sweet? Coconut Juice $4: It's been a while since I've had coconut juice at a restaurant, but this also tasted sweeter to me than I remembered. Pho Viet Anh is a good pho joint with carefully made broth, delicious meats, and healthy portions. Just like many other pho places in and around Seattle. In other words, while certainly delicious, it seemed comparable to the "best pho place" in any neighborhood, and not really worth making a special trip out of your way. The restaurant is smaller on the inside than it looks on the outside, and even moderate crowds will mean several people waiting in line at the door. Tables are small and cramped, and I got bumped by servers a few times during my meal. The service was reasonable, not stellar, as were the paint-by-numbers appetizers and the insistent annoyance of pho restaurants that are still serving soft drinks by the individual can and charging you for refills (still). Like most other pho restaurants, the saving grace of Pho Viet Anh is the pho itself, with a broth that clearly took days to make and a deep, rich flavor, generous portions of noodles and meat, and all the toppings you'd expect (bean sprouts, basil, sriracha, jalapenos, etc.). I ate it ravenously, loved it, and will love it just as much when I get something similar from the best pho place in some other Seattle neighborhood. This pho place was great! I don't usually venture out into trying new pho places because I'm so obsessed with going to my regular spot but my boyfriend and I were in the area and we craving pho so we couldn't help ourselves. We got seated right away and even got to choose a spot right next to the window. The restaurant itself is so cute, it looks like a small house so it's pretty intimate and very quiet compared to any other pho place I've been to- it was kind of mid day on Sunday when we went- but it didn't make a difference in the experience overall! And everything about the place was super clean. The service was great, we got our water refilled and we didn't feel judged when asking questions about the menu. I was disappointed the 8 other people that came in after us were served before us. Our tea never came to we had to remind them. By this time I was very annoyed and just wanted to eat and get out.
