Terrible service!!!! Here's the story: My bf and I have been loyal customers for 1.5 years to the point that the owners' family/wait staff knows our family. We tip 25%-50% every single time. We clean up after ourselves to the point that they only need to spend 30 seconds to clean up after us, even when we dine with our young son. Last time, they made us wait 35 minutes for our pho while 13 people who arrived after us got their food before us. Because they have terrible service, they didn't even notice we didn't have food for 35 minutes; it was only when I told them that they finally brought out our pho. The owner's daughter promised she would comp our meal. So when it's time to pay, she says she will give us a 10% discount. She tried to pull a fast one on us and tried to con us for their bad service. They only said sorry after we pointed out their mistakes. NEVER GOING BACK AGAIN. read more

We visited there many times. They have very good customer service. Why I said that because one time I saw them responded very politely to customer who wanted to eat and "DID NOT WANT TO PAY". Ummmmm the server could have been better as I was confused about the menu and it was my first time. However after sitting a little research and reading a few reviews I decided on the house pho and spring rolls. The pho was well seasoned and tasty, spring rolls was regular but the peanut sauce was definitely the best I've ever had. They've improved since the first time I went on opening week. The Pho broth is still excellent - portion sizes are still small. Definitely NOT. A huge amount of meat compared to other Pho places (as someone else reviewed) - it's typically of most pho places. The house vermicelli dish was great. The clay pot rice was ok - the flavor and dish was good, how ever the rice wasn't actually clay pot style (seemed like it was just a scooped into the clay pot for display as opposed to the crunchy rice that forms in the surface of the clay pot if cooked appropriately). STILL no sesame balls available - not sure if they've ever had it - should take off menu if not available. read more

I saw on Facebook that a new pho place was opening up and decided to give it a try on my lunch break (alone) to knock out some work. The menu looked good and it's close to work and home. When I came in, I was greeted nicely and told that I could grab a seat and someone would be with me. The menu had a lot to choose from and pretty pictures. I decided to try the spring rolls and rare steak and meatball pho (small). My server asked me to be patient due to it being opening week, so I anticipated a long wait, however, my food took less than 10 minutes to arrive. :) The food was great and the broth had great flavor. This is an awesome woman-owned business on busy Washington Road. I would argue that this restaurant outshines many of the restaurants on the same side of the street in terms of creativity and flavor. When I visited I had the house special rice plate, which included a grilled pork chop, shredded pork skin, meatloaf, fried egg and pickled vegetables. I hit them up on about day 3 after opening. Service wasn't bad, but I'm hoping it will be much better after they've settled in. The pork and shrimp springrolls A2 were OK (which means pretty good). The peanut sauce was good but nothing special. The broth in my Brisket Pho P3 was to die for! Such depth, intimate essence of beef ready to embrace the body of the rice noodles and eager for the delights on my condiment plate. The hosin and saracha set the right tone. I enjoyed my experience. I did shift my perspective to match their newness. I'm planning to come back in the Summer. Then, my rating will not give them a new place pass. I'm thinking it'll still be 5 stars. The pho here is delicious and portions are huge. The fried rice in a pot is also an amazing dish. The restaurant is big with lots of space between tables. Service can be a little slow but everyone is always super helpful and kind. This is our favorite Vietnamese place in town. read more

So excited that Augusta finally has a great Vietnamese restaurant! I tried multiple items on their menu and have not been disappointed at all! But we always make sure to get the summer rolls and pho. They give generous portions and are so courteous when you enter. If you get food to go, they wrap the rolls individually to keep them fresh and moist. The veggies with the pho is packed separately and SPOILER ALERT: the rare beef is raw as this is the way it is traditionally served so it will cook in the hot broth. These are little thoughtful details that set them above and tells you they respect and are proud of their food and want people to enjoy it as if dining in. I also have to get the sesame balls every time I go, which is pretty often...like once a week. The times I've been, there have been very diverse patrons. We dropped by this new restaurant off Washington Road on a weekday. While the sign says Pho, are a large variety of menu items - even a good showing for vegetarians. It took a while for the food to come out, but the pho and the fried rice were both tasty. The only complaint I have for both dishes is the amount of protein - there didn't seem to be a lot of protein in either dish. Maybe three smaller shrimp, three cuts of squid, and a handful of fish balls in the pho. There was a great variety of veggies in the fried rice, though. We tried the sesame balls for dessert, and I was thankful for the chance to try them but I don't think I will get them again. The sesame ball filling was not to my taste, but the outside was cool. I have been to a lot of Pho restaurants lately and they were good, but what really makes good Pho is when you test it before adding hoison sauce and siriachi to test the flavor. This had tons of flavor and passed the test with flying colors. Pho Viet also does not short change on beef. I've been to too many Pho restaurants and it has been just a bowl of broth with sprouts and that's about it. This place gives you lots of meat. I highly recommend this place along with their amazing servers. I will be back again and on this same trip this weekend. read more

We went on a Thursday evening and seated ourselves with immediate service for drinks and appetizers. I had the traditional lemonade and my husband had the salted lemonade. The alcohol options are limited but the Both were good. I preferred mine but if you have a thing for salty sweet...give the Vietnamese salted lemonade a try. We had the Vietnamese fish sauce wings as an appetizer, the flavor was good, definitely tasted elements of five spice and soy, they were deep fried and a tad dry but definitely worth trying again. The broth for the pho was verrrry good, the portion is average, and the Mongolian stir fry was also verrrry good. We also had an order of the egg rolls, definitely would have skip those. They were drenched in oil, but it could be that they sat too long before serving. So a few things: the appetizers and main courses were served within minutes of each other, and there was no dish offered to eat so you had to just eat off of the the serving plates and wipe the crumbs off of the table in front of you. read more

This pho seriously hit the spot!!! The staff is very friendly and our food came out quickly. If we were local we would for sure be here weekly getting our pho fix. The broth was light, not too rich or fatty. The meat also had good flavor and the noodles weren't over cooked. If you're a soupie (soup lover haha) like me, get the larger size. We both got the small and I definitely could've eaten more but my husband suggested getting extra noodles instead and it filled us right up (they gave us enough extra noodles that we split them)! Authentic Vietnamese place in Augusta day what?! It's true! Delicious, authentic and well priced. Clean establishment and friendly- they have only been open 2 months they shared. I got the vermicelli noodles e lemongrass pork egg rolls and pork patty. It was accompanied by very fresh vegetables and the fish sauce was not too overpowering as some places are.
