I see nothing but success for this new restaurant. It is an open air-styled restaurant ... very clean, bright, and decorated nicely with Vietnamese artwork. My husband and I were greeted with friendly smiles and seated immediately. The place started filling up quickly (Saturday evening 5:00pm). Like good restaurants our waiter made sure we were satisfied with everything by checking on us. The meal was delicioussss as well. I had the plain noodle phó (veggies only), hubby had the steak phó and egg rolls. We dined while soft spa background music played. I wish this new business the very best. It is certainly starting off with a big bang! Well deserved. We will definitely eat here again whenever in Augusta! Highly recommend!

My parents were visiting from NJ, so pho noodles being one of their favorite dishes, we decided to check out Pho Viet. We tried out the Pho Viet in Columbia, SC and because they enjoyed it years back, we had to try out the one in Augusta. We all got the basic steak pho with grilled pork spring rolls for appetizers. They have two variations of the pork spring rolls, one of which is a patty form, which I was told is more like pork spam texture. The pho bowls come in small or large sizes and with the option for additional meat for $5. The broth wasn't salty or overly oily, but really good. I typically don't sip on the broth afterwards, but I enjoyed it here. Could give more noodles, I think the noodle portion was more towards the small size for a large bowl, but definitely generous amounts of beef. Their green tea is soothing and perfect combination with the beef bowls. We asked for additional bean sprouts and jalapeños; they definitely were generous with the portions. Overall a solid 4 star experience and if you're a pho person, I highly recommend trying this place out. Their menu is pretty diverse where you have fried rice and vermicelli noodle entrees to choose from if you're not into the noodle bowls.

Came in for a quick lunch. Everyone was craving pho while we were in Augusta and this place had great reviews, so it was a perfect match. The service was fast and friendly, the pho was warm and so so comforting, I've got nothing negative to say.

Came in because of the yelp reviews and they did not steer me wrong! There is private parking, the smell when you open the door is just AMAZING you know you walked in the right place. Simple interior set up. The server was very friendly. I had the P4 rare steak and brisket. The flavor of the broth was just top tier. In will be back next time I'm in the area.

The local Vietnamese place has a chay (vegetarian) menu, which didn't offer everything I might have hoped (oddly, none of the noodle salads the cuisine is known for), but had plenty enough to merit a visit from me. It didn't have a ton of atmosphere as it looked like a converted fast food joint, though readers probably will have a better experience than the mayhem of rambunctious children (it seemed like one of them was about raise an army over a lost crayon). The summer rolls I ended up with were a standard but effective appetizer. My lemongrass and chili tofu was breaded and fried. It was a flavorful dish even without the tableside chili oil, but with that added, a real sinus-clearer. I'd tweak the menu, but I'd come back.

I should feel ashamed to say this, but I eat here at least once a week. I've tried all the pho places. I usually choose between this place and Banh Mi Dang. The service here is always excellent. The pho is always consistently the same. The restaurant is always clean. My recommendations: meatball pho, seafood pho, egg rolls, spring rolls, steak bites fried rice, any lemongrass stir fry (I usually get the fish one). Also, the Thai tea... you won't find a better one in Augusta. Not even the boba tea places can compare to them on their Thai tea. If you like Vietnamese food you will not be disappointed.

Converting a non believer that this would be authentic and delicious. He's a convert!

We've waited a long time to eat really good Vietnamese food. Fried Rice in a Pot is exceptional as is everything that we have eaten. Fried Tofu, Spring Rolls, Combo Pho and the House Special Rice Vermicelli. Great Job. read more

Augusta's newest Vietnamese restaurant. The restaurant is clean and renovated. The service was fast and friendly. The drinks came minutes after we sat down and the food arrived five minutes after we ordered. The food was fresh and not too spicy, pretty middle of the road. I tend to like things much spicier, but it was easily fixed with a spoon full of crispy chili oil and a little hoisin sauce. Definitely coming back to try the pho. Two stars for the customer service. I'm visiting from north ga, Vietnamese is my favorite cuisine to prepare and eat. The pork was tht weird pink type of meat- not certain it was pork. The shrimp tasted fake and had a pink tint throughout. The supposed port came to the table, lukewarm wow the noodles to the B1 (combination vermicelli bowl) option on the menu were hot. This was a waste of time. But I'm glad I can mark this off my list. read more

Craving Pho on a chilly January night and our usual place was closed so we decided to try this newer pho spot in Augusta. It is located in the old Pizza Hut building at 3031 Washington Rd but you would never guess that from the bright and well decorated interior. The wait staff was friendly and answered all our questions. The menu is not huge which I always take as a good sign. They have some rice and noodle dishes, Bahn mi, and some other soups. There were some eggrolls, spring rolls, and chicken wings. We were there for Pho so we didn't spend much time looking over the menu. There were about 12 types of pho, mainly traditional flavors. A small bowl was 11 and a large was a few dollars more. I ordered a spring roll with roast pork. The peanut sauce they served with them was scrumptious. Mom and I both ordered a small pho. I got the raw steak and mom opted for steak and meatballs. Our food came out in no time. It was served with a plate of fresh bean sprouts, herbs, jalapeños and lime. It was very tasted. Mom didn't love the texture of the meatballs but loved the broth. We both agreed the pho was very well done and that we would return soon. read more

Great little Viet place with a southern Chinese Slant. Clients were Asian which always encourages me. We had a rice and TeriyakiPork combo dish and a Crispy Noodle nest filled with delicious Seafood stir fried in as delicate Cantonese sauce. Nothing heavy here. This restaurant is one of my very favorites in Augusta and surrounding area. Clean, friendly and absolutely delicious food. I always order B5, it has spring rolls, salad, marinated pork, (or any meat you want) rice noodles on the bottom of the bowl there's a light sweet and sour type clear sauce served on the side that you pour over it. Oh my goodness... wonderful! Please tear up the Thai basil too. read more

Was never really into pho before coming here, had had it a few times and it was always just okay. But after trying the food at location I was pretty impressed and come here now regularly. Seems to be family owned and the staff there is really nice. First the squid was very and I mean VERY!! overcooked. the customer service was horrible the lady behind the cash register was very rude and unwelcoming. the lemonade was too sweet too my liking. the PHO broth was unseasoned and very smelly a bad smell. overall the whole restaurant was very uncomfortable and unwelcoming. this is 2023 guys do better! cmon now. read more

The pho is okay, the noodles were all packed together at the bottom of the bowl. It took a lot of work to get the noodles loose. The flavor is pretty good. Overall decent. The bahn mi and spring rolls were very good and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend getting them. TL;DR Reasonably priced, great bahn mi and spring rolls. read more

Just in chunks we had to break apart or just bite through the block. Wasn't a fan of how large the onion pieces were and it was fairly oily. The beef fried rice was actually good. Wasn't too oily or dry. Their Pepsi zero tasted very watered down. Plenty of seats to dine in, fairly quiet, and plenty of parking spaces. Service was okay. We saw the waiter twice during our entire meal. It was an overall "okay" experience for us.

Now, I want to talk about the homemade hot sauce. That was enough to make me want to go back again. It is delicious! I love it a lot more than the standard chili flakes they offer at these places. The restaurant is unique on the inside and gives a somewhat hole-in-the-wall bar vibe (but cleaner). During the day time, I would say it is family friendly, but at night it can definitely get rowdier so go at your own risk, it is called Whiskey Bar after all. The burgers are very good and are cooked very well with lots of options for customization. I always go for the classic WB(K) burger with Swiss cheese and pickles. The waffle fries are always so crisp and yummy. The same goes for the potstickers as an appetizer. Even their other burger combos that seem strange are actually pretty good if you are into that type of burger. The service is always pretty good. Friendly staff that was quick. Not a long wait on a Tuesday night, but have definitely waited before on a Friday or Saturday. They have a first come, first serve bar as well. The tables can be somewhat cramped depending on where you are sat and it is definitely not an accessible place as the entrance is crammed and all the tables are high tops on the inside, the outside is better with low top tables and benches. The Diet Coke was okay. A little syrupy so their ratio on the fountain soda machine must be a little off. Still good, but I have had better. Overall, one of the best burger restaurants in Augusta and most stop place in the area!

Food is good, but there was a dead fly as well as a maggot in my food. Also, they didn't seem too apologetic about it either. They refused to give any sort of compensation for it too and just gave me new rice instead. I took a video of the maggot crawling but it won't let me post videos here, so i attached a screenshot of the maggot moving in motion as well as the dead fly. read more
