The egg rolls were great but, I don't know if the staff was having a blah day or they just weren't feeling like being at work that day. Ordered beef Phô with rare flank steak and brisket. I almost choked on how dry the beef was not too mention the lack of flavor in the broth. I requested and paid for extra ingredients and sadly, did not get them. Came here for a recent dinner with a large group. The service staff was very accommodating of our large party. The menu was expansive and includes everything from traditional pho dishes, vegetarian options, to various rice meals. I ordered the fried tofu and broccoli dish and it was very tasty. Many of the menu items have a good price point ($7-10). There is also an option to order larger meals for sharing as well as "DIY spring rolls" for your table. I arrived here for lunch with a friend. The staff here is friendly and helpful with the menu. We tried the pork spring rolls and they were OK but did not go well with the dip served alongside. The Thai ice tea was OK but way to much milk and whipped cream. You cant taste the strong tea flavor which I like. The pho was nice with tasty sliced beef and meatballs. I did have to add a lot to get the flavor I wanted out of the dish but a good effort all the same. I will be back to try a non pho dish in hopes that my second experience will be better. read more

I love this place! I saw in an earlier review that the person's broth was oily and was had no flavor. I have not had either of those issues and have been dining here for years. I have started to recently order the vegetable Pho - this one is my absolute favorite out of them all. The vegetables are crisp. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars is because the inside is a little run down. Having seen the good reviews on Yelp I first came here a year ago and was hooked on the first visit. Both the food and the staff here are great. Yesterday I was in and had Pho with sliced steak and meatballs (#78) and a fresh spring roll appetizer. Both were delicious as always and as Gen. MacArthur said; I shall return! If I could change anything about Pho Viet it would be the atmosphere. It has a rather plain interior which would benefit from decor that matches the cuisine. Service is always terrible when I come here. On my most recent visit, the server could care less about the customer. Didn't check on us once. Ordered bun bo hue for the first time and was disappointed. It tasted like pho broth that was less sweet with a dollop of chili paste in the center. The bad: They have a limited beer/wine list, the setting is underwhelming, the place was packed, and I wish it was closer to where I live! The good: It's delicious, inexpensive, authentic Pho served by charming staff. The portions are enormous. The menu is a bit daunting with around a hundred options, but many are just different permutations and combinations of basic proteins added to the various dish styles. I had Pho with rare sliced flank steak and well done brisket and thoroughly enjoyed it, but another diner suggested it's even better when the rare steak is ordered 'on the side' so it remains rare rather than continuing to cook in the hot broth over the course of the meal. I like spicy food and did add some of the hot chili sauce, but it was well seasoned and delicious just how it arrived. My husband, brother in law and I went here on a whim one day. I have always past this place and was curious on what it was all about. First of all the wait staff really doesn't pay attention to the people at the tables. I asked for iced tea and the tea that I got was warm.
