    Beef Salad
    Ricky P.

Came here for lunch after landing in SeaTac with my friend. The customer service was great and the spot was clean and peaceful. I ordered the beef salad and it was good. Not amazing, but will above average. I got the spice level 3 for their 1-5 spice scale they have. Not a bad price either. It was a good first meal in Seattle for our trip.

Really great food right by the airport. We came in a bit hungry after a long wait at Avis counter, and ordered 1) grilled tilapia mango salad 2) pad Thai 3) crab fried rice 4) Kai NAM Everything is delicious and live up to our expectations. The only thing we hope can improve is the tenderness of the beef in pad Thai.

Location: Right by the Airport car rental place on Pacific Highway. They have their own reserved parking spots for restaurant customers only. Location seemed very clean inside when we arrived in the first hour of opening on a Saturday. Service was warm and friendly and they offered to refill our drinks several times and us 3 ladies trying to catch up with each other (one was from out of town) didn't feel hurried at all. Food was a hit and miss for us. I love papaya salads but this Papaya salad did not taste fresh. I feel bad saying it because the elderly ladies serving us were so nice. The papaya salad and veggies were harder instead of crispier. The sauce was also a big problem like it was a mix that wasn't made fresh or from a couple nights before. It had a more fishy taste than usual with a sour taste, almost tasting spoiled. All of us took one scoop on our plates and didn't go back for seconds. The calamari appetizer on the other hand is a must order! It was hot, fresh and the texture had the most perfect chew. The dipping sauce is a regular sweet chili sauce, but I feel they can improve and find a more creative pairing for it. Kee Mao Noodles was too sweet for me and oily and not enough veggies. This is another dish I usually get at Thai restaurants. The portion is also smaller than other places. I would not order again. Dungeness crab fried rice was delicious and one of the favorites. They put the crab on top of the rice and you can decide to mix it all together first. MSG - I believe they use MSG at this place because after 20'min or so my chest started hurting/tightening and my allergy symptoms started showing. I usually get this at some Chinese places when they put quite a bit of MSG. I believe it was in the crab fried rice. I could be wrong on where they placed it. But there was MSG somewhere due to my reaction. Conclusion: Great attentive and friendly service and easy location to meet up with friends near the airport. Hit or miss on food. Personally I wouldn't travel out of my way to dine here as I know better Thai restaurants that does my favorite Thai dishes better.

Be aware not a vegan restaurant they used fish sauce.

Postmates says they are vegan. In fact it's a ghost kitchen and they used Fish sauce on a vegan option.

Appetizers Platter is a good try.

I came again to the chontong Thai with other 2 people for dinner at 6 pm on Sat. No reservation but no problem. Parking is front of the restaurant. Inside the restaurant is a good atmosphere and clean environment. A lady always lovely and nice smiling. There were a few customers in the store and seats were available. First we ordered appetizers Platter. I wanted to eat a pan fried wide rice noodles but out of wide noodles. So I ordered Pad Thai w tofu and Red Curry w chicken. All the dishes were easy to eat and tasted good. we want to come again.

Fried 4 Piece Spring Rolls wrapped with a rice wrapper. The best way to start the experience.

This place is so wonderfully delicious. The color of the inside with pictures on the wall the amazing hostess who took care of our every need. The fried spring rolls are wrapped in a rice paper and it was something this gluten free eater misses, fried spring roll. Thank you for cooking me yummy food! I look forward to coming back some day.

The Rad Nah is the bombest ive ever had hands down. The crispy noodle are amazing. Suzy is the nicest lady. Make sure you get the chili with vinegar and chili with fish sauce to top it off

Their pricing on their actual website is not updated, so I thought I'd post the current pricing since I was just there for my crab fried rice pick up. The owner looked a bit annoyed that I asked for hot sauce to go. It was quiet. No one was there since it just opened up.

Great Pad Kee Mao, very modern, clean atmosphere with some jazz playing. I will be back for sure. Right by the rental return lot to boot. Win win win.

The broths are flavorful, spicy options have a good kick without being overwhelming, and the milder ones are comforting. Portions are generous for the price, and the customizable setup makes it easy for groups with different spice preferences or dietary needs. Service is usually quick, and the casual atmosphere works well for a relaxed meal. It's especially nice on cooler days when you want something warm and filling. A few tips, the dining room can get busy on peak hours and weekends, and the spice levels are legit, so start milder if you're sensitive. We always return here after my daughter's long flights.

I didn't see his name, but the Asian guys with a hat and a sleeve of tattoos was quite rude and dismissive. When we asked for our fires to be put out, he made a dissatisfied face. One fire end up not being out our properly so I asked him to do it again. He made eye contact and just looked away, and ignored me completely. Then, he went straight to helping other people. We thought he'd come back after helping that customer so we waited. He never came back. Thankfully one of the female waitresses there was attentive and nice when we asked! I understand that everyone has bad days and he may have just been tired, but it honestly wasn't that busy compared to some other times and they had a lot of staff working too. I think I was more taken aback that he made eye contact with me and just completely ignored me even though we were patient. The beef bowl.. there were some obvious switches with some ingredients. But I understand, everything is getting more expensive. Just thought I'd point it out for new customers. BP is my comfort place, so this experience was a little upsetting. I hope it'll be better the next time I go back!

I ordered a combination noodle dish, and although it included brisket, the meat was so chewy I could not bite through it and almost choked. I ended up having to pull it out and discard it. The thick homemade noodles were spongy and tasteless, and the soup itself had very little flavor. My wife's vermicelli dish, priced at $25, was okay, but it did not include the rice paper wraps that are commonly served at many Vietnamese restaurants. When I asked the woman, who I believe is the owner, whether the large drum in the back was used for making noodles, she confidently replied, "Of course, we only sell what we make." I can appreciate the effort of making noodles in-house, but I personally wish they used more traditional Vietnamese rice noodles and a richer broth made with real bone marrow. Instead, the thick noodles just felt off to me. After adding four egg rolls to the meal, our total came to $87, and unfortunately the overall experience did not feel worth the price. Between the bland soup, chewy brisket, and inconsistency with the vermicelli setup, I do not think I will be returning. I honestly hope they take inspiration from Pho My Chau and Hoang Lanh, which do a great job capturing a more traditional Vietnamese flavor and balance.

We also ordered the mushroom and pumpkin salad with spinach, which tasted great, but at $20, it felt a bit overpriced for what it was. The rolls, unfortunately, didn't live up to how they looked. Presentation was definitely there, but the flavor just didn't hit. On top of that, they were falling apart pretty easily when picked up with chopsticks, which made them a little frustrating to eat. Service was solid overall staff was attentive despite how busy it was but they did miss our hamachi kama, which was a bit of a letdown. A couple things to note: this place is cash only, and it gets very busy, so expect a bit of a wait. That said, the vibe is nice, and the design of the space is something I actually liked.
