There is lots of parking so that's great! You can pick any table you want to sit at. They bring you menus and they took my order very quickly. The spring roll came out first which was really good, then the egg roll came out but it was a bit less filling than normal. My pho came out right after which was yummy and hot. I asked the person behind the register you're saying it's $1.30 some cent for tax. something is wrong that's not right. The owner overheard the conversation and said you want to complain. I said no I'm trying to figure out why is it $1.30 for tax somethings wrong that's not correct. He informed me that I was being charged for the container at that point. I was just disgusted asked for a refund and left. Is that what we're coming to now so do we have to pay to use the plates? Pay to drink out the cups pay for the salt and pepper pay for the condiments on the table now it wouldn't not have been so bad. Had I've been informed ahead of time or it was in writing we go out to eat for the experience. That was a bad experience and I'm not a cheap person. Came into this place cause everywhere else was pretty much closing at the time. It's your typical pho join with a pretty basic menu - no frills save for some items like Bo Kho beef stew. Service was pretty quick, and staff were friendly too. When I got my seafood pho I was a little disappointed that there weren't scallops like the menu said, but the broth had that oh-so-flavorful, beefy umami quality to it (even though it's a seafood pho). I always appreciate a pho joint that can give that savoriness and depth to its broth. A little heavy on the noodles, too, and would have liked to see more onions & garnish. BEWARE WHEN YOU PAY FOR YOUR MEAL THEY WILL SCAM YOU INTO GIVING THEM TIPS!!!! My family and I are visiting for a trip and we wanted to get something to eat because everything closes around 9. We found this place and called in an order around 8:20. When we went to go pick it up the lady was not the friendliest, but we had to get our food. My mom decided to use her credit card as her form of payment and, the lady then told my mom to sign on the iPad in front of her. When I looked at the iPad there was a big line for her to put her signature and at the top of the screen there was a thin rectangular box that had percentages ex: (15%, 18%, 25%, no tip, and custom.) When I was watching my mom sign on the line I noticed that the box for 15% tip was highlighted and I wondered why, but regretfully I didn't say anything until after. I also noticed that when my mom was signing the lady was looking at the screen (maybe to make sure my mom didn't change the tip button, or to see if she would notice it at all.) The lady insisted on my mom signing quickly saying "just sign" "just sign"as my mom frantically signed her signature. After the transaction the lady was taking a long time to give us the receipt, and after all that time she ended up giving us the register receipt and not the credit card receipt. After we walked out the door I asked my mom to see the receipt and the first thing I noticed is how many things they charged us for. We only bought two phos and two orders of spring rolls. I looked at the end of the food items and there was to-go cup charge, bag charge, and container charge. Where we are from (Hawaii) it is not common for eateries to charge for things like this especially bags. Places usually ask if we need a bag or any miscellaneous things, but that really wasn't our concern. I was more concerned about what was on the bottom of the receipt where all the taxes and final totals are and I noticed a section for gratuity that said $5.18 which was 15% for the whole meal. Then I told my mom that they automatically charged her card for a tip she didn't even know about. She then decided to confront the lady working about this and the lady just made excuses about the machine and how it just does that. Our thinking is that how come the machine is designed to automatically charge for tip? Why can't they just make it no tip and let the customer decide if you deserve it or not? My mom said she didn't need the $5.18 but it is a sneaky and cunning way to rip off your customers by changing them without their knowing. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! My son got positioning and a stomach flu from here! The older owner lady rushed us the entire time we were here and gave us un sanitary food! We had two bites each and she told us to leave since she was closing at 10 pm, mind you it was only 9:30 at the time! Excellent pho to go in generous quantities and great prices! This shopping center has loads of ethnic foods to choose from, but you absolutely cannot go wrong with Pho Tai. My friend and I were so cold on one of the days it was snowing and the only thing that could warm us up was a bowl of pho from Pho Tai! We phoned in our order and it was ready for us when we arrived 7 minutes later. Make sure you know which number corresponds to the pho you want as the person answering the phone may say yes to you when you ask for something but she may not actually understand. The numbers are not in order on the menu but they haven't changed which pho corresponds to which number ie: "6" is tofu pho, "33" is seafood pho. They put the toppings separate of the soup in containers tied off in plastic bags to prevent spilling, so this helped get everything from Point A to Point B intact. There was minor spillage at the bottom of the bag, but not as much as you'd expect from ordering two huge soups. I had the seafood pho and it was ON POINT! Fresh large shrimp, squid, imitation crab, and small scallops plus plenty of bean sprouts and Thai basil to top it off made for a most amazing meal. My friend had the tofu pho and it was not my favorite (the tofu is fried and flavorless). I ordered the small and it was about $10 - this was in no way a small bowl of pho! Recently tried out Pho Tai with my fiance and our ten month old son. We walked in and the place was absolutely PACKED on a weekday lunch rush - good for them! Pretty standard pho restaurant experience. The waitress we had was super nice and loved coming to check in on us because my son was all smiles for her... I'd keep coming back, too! Both my fiance and I went with our normal pho order which is brisket pho. We also got a side order of rice for our son. The food came out nice and quick. My son decided that the didn't like rice anymore so he was throwing rice everywhere, being loud. Super cool. However they all handled it really nicely and still thought he was cute! We made sure to clean up all the rice he threw on the floor. As for our pho, it was decent. I've definitely had better in the area so I don't think it would be my first choice to come back here even though the service was amazing. It tasted really clean and really light which I know is a lot of people's preference, but it just didn't have it all for me... I was shocked and humiliated. There is a chance she didn't understand the law or didn't understand what we were saying, but he was clearly wearing a vest that says service dog (which he is not even legally required to wear). I've been to many pho Tai before and they are all pretty consistent! Good portion size and tastes pretty good. Parking in this area is a bit challenging during the evening as it shares with Miyabi sushi and other restaurants. I order pho with tendon, trip, brisket and steak.
