Picked up some pho, vermicelli bowls and banh mi sandwiches. When we arrived to pick up the food, the staff was getting ready to go, but were still nice and polite. The food was tasty and well packaged, but disappointed in my pho portion as I only got one meat ball and a small amount of the other meats. There were plenty of noodles but not enough meat for sure.

Very unassuming place. Parking lot is kind of dim. Walked in and was seated right away. Ordered pho & pad see ew. Food came out hot and fast.

The foods was very delicious. I like the banh xeo crepe the most. The service was very good and fast. I was on a rush, so this was appreciated.

A better look at the bug that was in my pho

*TAKE OUT REVIEW* I stopped in on a Friday evening and ordered Pho Dac Biet and Kee Mao Noodles with chicken. I was beyond disappointed and will never be back. PHO - my appetite was ruined after I found a baby roach! Broth was tasty but as I got halfway into my bowl I see the bug. I was praying that my eyes were deceiving me but they weren't and I wanted to cry. KEE MAO - I was hesitant about eating it at first because of the pho but I probed the heck outta the dish to make sure there weren't any extra surprises. It had no flavor at all. There were zero pepper flakes as I ordered 3-stars for spice. Chicken was dry. Noodles were not fresh and they were very thick from sticking together. The texture of the noodles were so bad, I didn't even want to finish it. I was hoping this would be my go-to place because of the reviews and health score rating was excellent. I didn't get sick or have tummy issues as I'm sure the bug was already dead. It was just an unfortunate experience and a waste of money.

The large pho was good $15.

The large pho was $15 lunch menu. The customer service needs improvement please. If the server says pick any table you want, please do not ask me to move tables. Thats funny business. Maybe had estimated 8 customers dining inside, and the older server was trying to tell me to change tables. Maybe 8 out of 45 dining capacity for dine in and 10 variety two top to 4 other 4 seating available. Time was 1100 am lunch time. The server was a young guy, he looked kind of lost, the older guy had to guide him on how to serve water. I would recommend training might be better before or after the start of business hours.

Food takes awhile but the grilled pork spring rolls are definitely worth it. The green papaya salad with grilled pork is also 100% worth getting even though it's literally green papaya and a few pickled daikon and carrot (not so much a "salad") but really good. I also think the pho broth is better than other options in the area but I'm not super picky when it comes to that.

Solid spot for pho in the Renton area! I had the large Dac Biet (combination pho) and it was great. The broth is a little bit on the sweeter side but I think a lot of people will like that. It was also bit fatty compared to what I'm used to, but still enjoyable. The large size was pretty filling and although a bit pricy at $14.50, I was happy with what I got. The meat/toppings were solid as well. One thing I like about this place is how big the restaurant is. It's a spacious spot so it's perfect for large parties or families, but they also have a ton of smaller booths that feel a lot more private. On a cold rainy day, my introvert self was especially happy to dine there and be away from everyone else. Service was also fast and efficient. I will definitely be back!

It sits right along the water with a wonderful view, and while there is paid parking nearby, just park at the nearby park and walk 5 mins over. The restaurant itself is surprisingly spacious, even with a large crowd, and they offer plenty of both interior and exterior seating to soak in the scenery. We came specifically for their happy hour, which runs from 2:00 to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. We ordered the beef pho pillows, crab and pork rolls, and the wagyu beef salad. Every dish was really good, but I would highly recommend the beef pho pillows as they were amazing in terms of quality. The service was also impressive, especially given how busy they were, with our server continuing to check on us multiple times throughout the meal to make sure we were well taken care of. Overall, it is a fantastic waterfront spot and definitely worth visiting!

The last place I went to had clouds of fruit flies, the floor was sticky and the table looked like a science experiment (the Pho was good though, but ewww). But this isn't about Pho places in Covington. This is about Happy Autumn in Renton. I needed to be in Renton along 4th Ave and since I don't get to eat good Pho much anymore, I saw that Happy Autumn was along the route I'd be driving. My first impression. The food handling rating is EXCELLENT and the restaurant looked clean. The staff was delightful, professional, full of smiles, and had my order ready for pick-up right on time. I got the grilled chicken Pho to go, which is risky because 'to-go' meals can be skimped on since people don't tend to complain on meals to go from their house. I was NOT disappointed. They piled up all the goodies. Extra Sriracha, jalapenos, cilantro and basil. Lots of chicken and noodles and just a touch of sprouts (they are my least favorite Pho item). The broth was fragrant, flavorful and by the time I got home 45 minutes later, still hot. I put it all together and enjoyed some of the best Pho I've ever eaten locally. HIGHLY recommend.

Staff was nice, attentive and the tables and restaurant seemed very clean. We ordered pho, chicken summer rolls and a grilled chicken rice plate. The broth didn't have a lot of depth. One member of the group is vegetarian, hence a reason why we ended up going to a vegetarian restaurant for our first meal during our trip. Blossom Vegetarian is located on the southwest corner of 3rd and Burnett. We came in three cars, and the lot immediately in front of the restaurant can only hold about a dozen cars. The adjacent lot has more spots, but all three of us were able to find spots easily when we arrived. That's likely because we had arrived a few minutes prior to opening, so the door was locked when I tried to open it. Right at 11 AM, an employee came out with a signicade to place in front of the front door. Shortly afterwards, we entered and sat at a table for 8, which I found kind of odd because they had tables of 4 and 8, but not 6. Our table had a sign advertising a limited time special, which was Hanoi Beef Fried Rice at the time*. However, we were interested in the lunch specials, which were available weekdays from 11 AM to 2 PM. Knowing that our schedule wouldn't have allowed for a lunch special any other time during our trip, we went for lunch specials, which mainly consists of rice combos. Rice combos at Blossom Cafe come with rice, either jasmine or brown, the latter of which would incur a $1 upcharge. The combo also includes an option for a juice or coffee, and if you choose either, you get $1 off. With plenty of rice combos to choose from, two of them chose the same lunch combo while the rest of us went with different lunch combos, but shared family-style with one another. I chose the Blossom Rice Combo, which consists of shredded "pork", tofu pie, "beef" skewer, and vegetables alongside a lime vinaigrette dressing. I'm not too certain of the other combos, but I do know that the Cashew Chicken was another combo, and that's because one of my groupmates heard it was their most popular dish. Since I prefer brown rice over white (jasmine) rice, I opted for the $1 upcharge for the brown rice. Between the coffee and the juice, I went with a coffee since I was needing some after a long morning of traveling. They have four choices of Vietnamese Coffee: Cheese Cafe, Cafe Latte, Dalgona Cafe, and Cafe Sua. I went with the Cafe Latte, which consists of both condensed and whole milk. The coffee drinks can come either hot or iced. For whatever reason, everybody else ordered the iced drinks, but I went with hot knowing I'd have to brave the pretty chilly weather outside. It took about 13 minutes for the kitchen to prepare our orders, and then we feasted! The coffee was ready about a minute before the main dishes arrived. Everything tasted good, but I wouldn't say great, though that's probably because I'm not vegetarian. However, rest assured that all their meats aren't real meat, and this is indicated by the use of quotation marks encompassing the meat names. You can definitely tell these meats are truly vegetarian, though it took a few bites for me to discern the vegetarianism of the "beef" skewer. The brown rice tasted kind of odd. I don't quite know how to describe it, but it was way different than the brown rice I'm used to e.g. Flame Broiler. The rice tasted pretty meh by itself, but exhibited a much more elevated flavor profile after adding the lime vinaigrette, which I'm thinking was actually a fish sauce. But that Cafe Latte was smoooooooooooth. Just what I needed after not getting enough z's the previous evening. Since I ordered mine hot, my coffee came in a mug while the others who ordered iced coffee got theirs in a wine glass. These coffees supplemented the glasses of water we were given when we placed our orders. Service, unfortunately, was quite slow, so exercise patience! We were the first customers to eat there, and there were a few others who came in after we did. We stayed there for over an hour even though I think we could have gotten in and out in much less time. They didn't really check on us even though there were very few other customers inside as well; I guess we were supposed to proactively go up to the counter to let them know when we were ready to order as well as pay. 2026 calendars were available for purchase at a cost of $20, cash only. I don't know how many people would constitute a "large" party, but we were considered one, which resulted in an 18% gratuity fee that was already added to our individual bills. One of our groupmates, who was fluent in Vietnamese, needed to let the server know prior to paying. So overall, Blossom Vegetarian is a decent spot for vegetarians; I just wouldn't recommend for a quick lunch break since service is nowhere near as quick. * My visit was back in November. I waited until January to post this review as I took a brief hiatus from posting reviews upon traveling to the Pacific Northwest.

Their menu is a combination of Vietnamese and Thai dishes. Not a huge menu but the dishes are of good quality and quality entree options over quantity for sure. The ingredients are fresh and some of their dishes are very uniquely made here and not seen in other Vietnamese restaurants! Definitely come try their own unique creations. We ordered the following for lunch: 1. Red Pho: Pho with reddish broth due to the spices. Never seen it anywhere so we gave it a try. It is like a lighter version of Bun Bo Hie broth but with pho noodles and proteins. 2. Caramelized shrimp with steam eggs: A rice dish with a blanket of eggs and sautéed caramelized savory and sweet shrimp (tôm rim). The flavors of the shrimp is DELICIOUS! Honestly if that entree comes by itself with some steamed veggies, that would have been like home cooking mom makes! The savory and sweetness of the sauce for the shrimp is just spot on! The shrimp is perfectly cooked, not over cooked at all! 3. Milk Tea for dessert and it was perfectly made: not too sweet and you can really taste the black tea flavor coming out with the cream. Very good!! Their quality is superb and there were so many items we would have loved to try but there was no way we could have tried them all in 1 sitting. Will have to return for sure! We ordered sandwiches and drinks the next day. The Vietnamese coffee and peach tea were good, not too sweet. As for the sandwiches, the bread itself is thicker than most banh mi bread but the flavors of the sandwiches are delicious! Perfectly prepared with all the fixings. I am just very impressed with the quality of the food and the flavors, the friendliness and hospitality of the wife as a waitstaff and the amazing food from her husband, the chef. Come try this place if you haven't. It is top notch: Amazing and delicious food!
