I was craving an asian rice dish, and my partner wanted something soupy, so what better place to try than a vietnamese restaurant that will always have both options (even if it is a pho restaurant). The pho tai was rich and packed with flavour. The slices of beef were thinly sliced, allowing it to cook in the hot steamy broth whilst you're chowing down. A generous amount of bean sprouts (mung beans) and mint leaves were accompanied for the pho. The Cơm Bì Thịt Nướng really hit home, and was definitely tasty. I went for lunch on a Saturday and there were plenty of seats available. Decent amount of parking near the entrance and more in the lots next door. I ordered the #115 and it was very good. My table didn't have any chili garlic sauce, so I asked for some and it was brought quickly. I would have liked the cilantro chopped up a little more so that it was easier to eat with the chopsticks. I don't think I've ever had summer rolls THIS small! They were missing pork, maybe they don't put pork in theirs. They were the size of spring rolls. The sauce was different also.. it was very watered down and had no peanut butter in it. Disappointed. Chicken wings- these were ok, very greasy and smothered in some bbq sauce? Wouldn't order again. Pho combo - felt like this shrank too. Small noodle portion. Decent amount of beef, included bean sprouts, basil, and jalapeño. They took the beef ball out of the combo. Got lemon instead of limes for the soup.. broth was average. Service was better than usual.. that's why I expect new owners. Not the same person that usually answers the phone. Been here two-three times and always love their cozy set up. It gets confusing between pho hoa (which is next door) and make sure to park at the right restaurant parking lot or you may get tow! I always get 115 which is the rice vermicelli with char broiled pork and spring rolls (it's so delicious) but I switch it up this time to chicken noodle soup with rice noodles and roast pork for the chill weather. The soup base is awesome and I try some of my friend vegetarian chive and onion soup and it's equally delicious. I also try the vegetarian fried rice and it was as authentic as it can be for asian fried rice. They are always friendly and ready to help when I ask them questions. Very accommodating as well because we ask if they could do a vegetarian summer roll and he was like yeah I can replace the meat with tofu! My only complaint would be that they do not offer the steak and beef meatball combo, but offer meatballs as an add on for $2.00. Not a big deal and for them a smart marketing tool to get $2.00 more out of my wallet. The broth, which is how all pho should be judged, is very good. This place sits centrally in China/Viet town in downtown Orlando so it was very easy to spot. All the parking is in the back as there is no parking in front so you will be entering from the rear. The waiter was very prompt and attentive to our table of 6 and brought out our food within 10 minutes. They also refilled our water and made sure we didn't go thirsty. That was a great experience. However, that played in my favor as the service was very quick as I was greeted by the hostess who seated me and brought the menu out.
