i can't believe i haven't tried earthy picks before this! i've passed by there many times, meaning to eat there, but never got the chance before. so when i finally stepped in, i was delighted by the delicious and healthy vegan food! my group had a nut allergy, and the staff were kind enough to let us know what we could eat, as well as adjust a few of the menu items so we could eat safely. i ordered inside the restaurant but sat outside on the patio. the food came out after a roughly average amount of time. not super short but not too long either. i honestly didn't mind waiting on the patio because the weather was nice. we ended up ordering the new age burrito, all day brunch burrito, and earthy salad bowl. the ingredients tasted fresh and delicious! i liked all the food combinations that they had going on, and the plantain chips were truly a treat. i was a huge fan of what i tried here, and would definitely recommend it to anybody looking for some healthy and tasty food. read more

If you're looking for some great vegan food with a flair - stop into Earthy Picks. I stopped in on Saturday and wanted to get a healthier option for lunch. After looking through the reviews, I knew that I wanted to get the toonah sensation wrap. The woman at the counter was very friendly and nice. The restaurant is so cute and has a Latin earthy vibe in downtown Orlando. I love the colorful and modern aesthetic. It took about 10 minutes for my food to be ready as I did get it to go. The toonah sensation wrap is a vegan take on a tuna wrap. I loved how fresh it tasted. The chickpea toonah literally had me second guessing if I was eating fish. The kale and other veggies were very fresh and honestly, it was so filling eating just half of the wrap. The plantain chips were a great side to the wrap. I got the Crazy About You Bowl ($17.25 plus tax), and subbed quinoa in for the rice. The bowl is very well-designed and balanced, with lots of incredible, lightly smoky, umami tofu scramble, lightly dressed kale, avocado, nicely flavoured black beans, quinoa, pico de allow, plantains, and sprouts -- all drizzled in a nice cilantro aioli. Wow wow wow!! Fantastic little spot in downtown Orlando. I stopped in to try something new, saw a picture of their Chicks in Curry Bowl on the counter and went with it. It has rice, kale salad, sautéed mushrooms, chickpeas and plantains all on top of a flavorful curry sauce. And it was delicious! I ate it all up and felt good with my healthy decision. I've walked past this place several times while out downtown at night and they're always closed. I was finally able to give it a try on a Saturday afternoon. We were greeted by a very nice lady, who I believe may be the owner. She answered all of our questions, and allowed us to take our time while ordering. We got the tacos, burrito and cafe con leche. We sat outside. Inside is fairly small, with just a few seats. The food came out pretty quickly. Burrito was smaller than we expected. Everything was tasty, service was good, but for the price we just expected slightly larger portions. We enjoyed our food, but left hungry. read more

Wow. We started our clean eating journey in February and while it's easy when I cook at home it can be challenging to eat out, especially at vegan places. Vegan restaurants are reliably dairy free, but their menus tend to have a lot of starches, gluten, sugar - all things I have to watch. The minute we walked in and Luc greeted us with her sunny smile we knew Earthy Picks was going to be different. I told Luc what I needed and she recommended the All Day Breakfast Burrito as a bowl. I don't know how to describe just how incredibly delicious this dish is. The expertly massaged kale was covered with a generous amount of warm Colombian style tofu perico (scrambled with tomato & green onion). It was so flavorful and so eggy we had to remind ourselves it was vegan. Just delicious. As we dug further - past the yummy pink sauce, the warm tofu, the tender kale - we discovered a plentiful schmear of black bean puree. It was just fantastic. We are here in Orlando for the weekend, heading back to Pinellas County tomorrow and we're going to drop by Earthy Picks again for carry out (and to see Luc!). It's that good. read more

In fact, there are literally a million other things you could say to someone sitting alone waiting patiently at the bar. So, I absolutely can not recommend the ambiance or atmosphere. The food however was good. I ordered the vegan tuna wrap (Toonah) and Abuelita's Angel Hair Soup. The soup was well seasoned, super fresh and packed with a variety of vegetables. Visiting Orlando before a cruise and decided to create my own walking food tour and Earthy Picks was 100% a great choice. To be far i do wish they had appetizers since this was stop 3 of 5. But I had the brunch nachos (which I ate all of anyways). I think the "raw" meat was my favorite, the cashew cheese was good but a little sweet (as cashew cheese usually is), but I added a little hot sauce and it was delicious. I absolutely love this restaurant. It is 100% vegan and it's clear that the food is made with love. It's always fresh, hot, and comforting and the flavors are so delicious each bite is better than the last. I have been here many times, and they NEVER miss. Their food is consistently delicious and they are also very kind. The restaurant inside is clean, beautiful and it is cozy, so there is also seating outside. Staff are very kind, and serve you with a smile. It is a pretty quiet environment but the staff are very attentive so do not be afraid to ask for anything. They operate with such quality that even their water seems to be filtered. The Crazy About You bowl is my favorite but I've also had the tostadas and the burrito which were also just as good. Please note that it is downtown, so you may have to look around for an empty spot on the street to park, but if you can't find one the publix parking garage is only a few blocks away so the trek isn't too bad if you have to park further away. I have been a fan for years, going to their Lake Eola Farmer's Market location weekly for some yummy vegan Latin food with a smile. Tatiana and her family treat you like you are family, and for that alone, it is worth a visit :) Now that they have their brick-and-mortar I couldn't be more thrilled. Their menu has expanded but the staples I grew to love are still there. On our first visit to this location, we ordered our favorite - Empanadas. I was just visiting Orlando for a couple days and while I noticed there's definitely a nice vegan scene there, I appreciated the Latin twist here.
