We came here multiple times, with a large group of coworkers. The menu is great, and the food meets the expectation. Service is friendly and helpful. The place is cold in my opinion, so bring something just in case. Outside patio is also available and perfect during lunch. The portions are generous, and you are able to make some adjustments with some of the dishes. Dinner is superb, and the lunch menu is on the same level. Definitely one of the places you must visit, when in town.

What a cool upscale restaurant located feet from the beach in Gulfport, Mississippi. Very nice space featuring a huge wine cellar in the center of the restaurant. The host and staff were very great. The restaurant has a very healthy Bourbon and Whiskey selection. So you know I had an old fashion with Angels Envy Bourbon. It was spot on. I had a cup of the chicken and sausage gumbo and a bowl of the crawfish etoufee. The gumbo was very tasty with touch of spice for heat. The etoufee was full of crawfish, not to rich, with a good portion of rice. Two great meals, at a good price. I would definitely make this place a favorite place to visit when I am down in that area again.

This is a wonderful restaurant in the heart of downtown Gulfport. They have many great restaurants in Mississippi. Please check the website for details on locations, menu, reservations, and etc. I know, I have already did a review of this place. However, that was in Biloxi. This particular restaurant is in the heart of downtown Gulfport area. Actually it is kinda tucked in the corner. But very convenient to many essential government buildings. Actually between the new Gulfport Aquarium and Gulfport downtown post office. Easy access off of highway 49 and easily seen from highway 90. They do have handicap parking. You would think that it is usually in front of the restaurant. But you are baffled that they do not have any? Quite the contrary, I happened to notice that they have plenty parking spots in the front and across the street. The handicap parking is on side of the restaurant behind the Art museum. They offer plenty of parking spots and handicap parking as well. You will also notice that the access ramp is on the side of restaurant. I was wondering how they would access the restaurant since they have front steps. Good to know. We came in the early evening and experience what they have to offer. As you walk in, you are greeted by very friendly staff and great atmosphere with the wine room display behind the hostess booth. They were quick to get us. They asked us if we have reservations. We said no. I highly recommend getting reservations if possible. Especially on the weekends and holidays. In my opinion. Usually they can accommodate you if you are a walk like us. This is not always a guarantee. They asked if we to sit outside or inside. Definitely recommend sitting outside when the weather permits and enjoy the great view of the Jones Park and Gulfport marina. We sat inside, luck out and they sat us by the bar. It was a great seating. A combination table of bench seat on one side and chairs on the other. They both offer excellent padding for both. The bench is a little bit more comfortable than the chair. I would not recommend sitting there for a long time. I forgot to get their names. Usually you expect just one person to wait on you. We were surprised we got two. It was nice to get and ensure that we have an excellent dinning experience. She asked what we like to drink and any appetizers to start. Of course, had to get sweet tea. They do have a great selection of mixed drinks, wine, and beer. Please refer to the menu or just ask. Drink responsibly. We started out with the onion rings. Thick cut onion rings (crispy hand-breaded thick-cut onion rings, served with remoulade sauce) We were not that hungry and wanted something good to eat. We ordered the Shrimp poboy. The shrimp po'boy (Served on french bread, battered and fried gulf shrimp). Round out the dinner experience with crawfish nachos. Bayou crawfish nachos (Crawfish tails, andouille sausage, tasso ham with a spicy cheese sauce, on top of house-made tortilla chips, pico de gallo, fried jalapeños). Our dinner experience was great! They always stopped by to check in on us and ensure our glasses stayed filled. Overall, the food was delicious! Definitely recommend this place! So far, nothing but excellent food and experience at either restaurant on the coast. They offer military discount with valid ID. Stop by if you are in the area and want a great meal!

The atmosphere is lovely, the restaurant sits in a gorgeous stone structure that's reminiscent of a vineyard. The staff are attentive and pleasant. The patio is gorgeous. I have eaten here 3 or 4 times over the span of a few years for different occasions and each time had been a delight.the food is amazing, every dish I've had has been impeccable from the chicken to the fish to the steak. This is truly my favorite restaurant on the gulf coast. It's truly a staple that can't be passed up. Anytime I'm on the gulf coast I will eat here.

I wanted to try some local spots here in Mississippi so I looked up some places and came across this place and had really good reviews. I ordered the shrimp Poboy as well as these nachos. The nachos did come in that separate container and they gave me another container filled with the cheese and crawfish bits. The flavor was all right to be honest, I wouldn't get that again. It wasn't that great the shrimp Poboy was good though so that definitely made up for the other dish all in all I would give it a four out of five. I will say, though, when I called in the employees are very, very, very nice which I loved.

Ended up Going to Patio 44 for dinner while on a work trip . We sat at the bar and had an incredible dinner . Jimmy who served us at the bar was so hospitable and friendly and and gave us great recommendations . The Cat fish was incredible , fried shrimp and fries , crab cake , and shrimp and grits . All tasted fresh and delicious . Great food , Exceptional experience, and Great ambiance . We definitely experienced Southern Hospitality at its finest

Food was AMAZING, 100000/10. We got the fried tomatoes for an appetizer which was great. Got a mojito to drink, wasn't too strong, made very well. For entree, I got the sweet hot pecan chicken with mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts. It was amazing, everything was crispy, nothing was greasy. Very good, I applaud the chef. The staff were also super friendly. We went a little after 4PM and there was barely anyone at the restaurant so service was very quick.

My mom and I found Patio 44 on a whim and decided to have lunch, the patio is nice and we were seated immediately as it wasn't crowded at all. The ambience is pretty classic, not too dimly lit. The service was a bit slow as it seemed as though our server was also the bartender. The mixed green salad was fresh and delicious. The cornbread was a tad sweet how I like it and they also have field peas, which I rarely see on menus. The gumbo had more of a gravy base than I'd like but the flavor was bussin'! My mom also loved the chicken and the desserts were unique and described like they'd be really delicious. We truly enjoyed the experience.

This place was selected as a dinner option because our regular spot had a long waiting list... but boy are we happy it did!! The service from the door to the table was excellent. Michael (waiter) was phenomenal; many places need more of him. He asked if it was our first time and from there we felt more comfortable to order anything. He explained the menu with a very brief intro. Very welcoming feeling. The food was fresh and tasteful. We ordered the Blue Crab Fondue for an appetizer. Crab cakes with crawfish cream sauce and the Redfish with crawfish cream sauce. Oh my word! Delicious! Every single bite. The environment was laid back, had an upscale vibe, and setup to where you don't feel crowded. Much of the food didn't make it to her a picture but the redfish entree did. We will surely return but I will know t limits next time- I got to full and could hardly move. Highly recommend.

Came in for dinner before heading to Christmas lights across the street. Jimmy and Sundee were our bartenders. Both helpful and knowledgeable we never waited for a thing. The food was good. The steak sandwich was cut too thick for me with a lot of gristle on it which is not my thing. If it wasn't for that it would of been 5 stars. Everything else was delicious. Restaurant was well lit and clean.

Great food, beautiful ambience and extraordinary staff...this about sums it up. I had a wonderful experience and will definitely be visiting the next time I'm in the area. Give this place a try.

It was my first time here, but this place is now a must-stop whenever I'm in or passing through the area! The food and service were both excellent. I was initially hesitant to try the pea sauté, but it turned out to be delicious and ended up being my favorite of the two dishes.

same menu as for adults, lots of kid friendly options available.

It looks beautiful and inviting. The menu seems awesome but I still like to know ahead of time, the prices. So we won't be going since you show menu's without prices. I'm not cheap but I do like to know. So what are your prices?

There's a pretty big range and you could find easily find something in the $10-15 price but most entrees are over $15

It was originally named Marina Cantina but is under new ownership. Parking is a bit sparse here, and you used to be able to park under the bridge but that was blocked off last time I went. You may have to park in the overflow gravel lot just west of the building, which also serves as parking for the excellent Blue Dog Bistro next door. We started with the Tres Amigos appetizer, which included a pile of fresh chips combined with salsa, cheese sauce, and black bean sauce. It was great and really meant for more than two people. They don't skimp on this one. I've been here several times and always get the Shrimp A Go Go poboy, which is pictured here. Although I feel like it could have used a few more shrimp for the price point, it was really good and comes with this creamy sort of salsa that pairs well with the fried shrimp. My wife got the grilled chicken sandwich, and honestly it was bigger and looked better than my poboy. I am definitely trying that next time. I hope this place is doing well because it never seems very busy when we go. It's like something is missing on the inside to liven it up. Our tables were covered in epoxy that was cracked and we saw buckling on the wood floors, most likely from humidity. Service has always been pretty quick and I have never had any complaints. I know the City caused a lot of drama for the previous owners, which is unfortunate. Definitely check this place out if you're looking for a place to hang out and have a few drinks and great food.

Nothing really 'epic' about them but good. Finally we had some Flamingo chicken bombs. Deep fried tenders and jalapeños. Pretty tasty and hot! My two favorites are the Newk's Club or the Turkey Avocado. Everything is made to order and you can see it all done right behind the counter, then they will bring it out to you. I appreciate that the soups are lower in calories, as are most of the salads. I really like the veggies that go in the greek salad, too. Newk's also has some of the best homemade pimento cheese and chicken salad around. Neither are like what you'd normally find at a grocery store. We've often bought containers of these to go so we can take home to enjoy. My only complaint is that you'll come out of there smelling like a toaster because of the bread smell. It's not bad but it seems to permeate whatever I'm wearing and I find that annoying when I smell like a restaurant the rest of the day. Subways is bad about this, too. Quite easy to find. We luck out, as lunch time rush was ending. Several tables opened up and we had choices on where to sit. You seat yourself and as soon as you sit down. We opted for a booth instead of a table. Table looks great and padding on bottom and with hard wood backing. Booth has but more cushion. Either both bottom and back padding. Plenty of tables. In the main lobby or in next room. They have a large flat screen TV that is wall mounted in the corner. The lovely waitress will be happy to come by and greet you. She handed us the menu and asked if we have any questions about it. She made a few recommendations and took our drinks order. Start out with a sweet tea and Thai tea. It was lunch time and was not very hungry but wanted to get something to hold us over till later that evening. And suggested that we try some soup/pho. She said it will fill you up and leave satisfied. Just do not do the super side bowl. You will not be able to finish it. Started out with the Pho Dac Biet (Pho dac biet is a Vietnamese translation for all kinds of special beef variations such as raw sliced steak, beef tripe, brisket, tendons, and Vietnamese meatballs) and rounded out with the Pho Tom (Pho tom is a delightful Vietnamese dish that perfectly combines succulent shrimp, tender rice noodles, and a rich, aromatic broth.) she asked if we would love to have fresh chili? And the other condiments are already on the table for your convenience. She quickly came back with fresh chili sauce and the fresh vegetables. She mentioned that soup will be out shortly. She quickly brought the soups. The aroma of the broth was amazing! Came out good. I noticed that my broth could use a little bit more than the usual sauce to enhance the flavor. However, I made the mistake of adding a bit too much chili sauce. It ended up being too spicy. It was still good. Just over did it a bit. It was good. It was just the right amount. Left full but satisfied. When you are done. Feel free to come to the register at the main lobby to pay. She mentioned that if you wish to save few dollars. She suggested that you pay cash instead of card to avoid the hassle of credit card fee to run it. No Wi-Fi I can see and feel free to reach out if they offer military discount.
