Makes a good mix depending on what you're looking for she can whip it up. Not sure if it's just a down south thing but be careful for the bugs or they'll be smoking with you. I went here on a Wednesday night so it was pretty slow of course until about 11pm surprisingly. We ordered two hookahs and they were pretty good. We had a few Smirnoffs since the daquiris were out, all three flavors. Though she told us that due to some license, that was the reason. It is important for me to point out that I'm a huge hookah person and do it at home as well. So my expectations may be unrealistic to some but I can spot things others who don't hookah often wouldn't. The owner was VERY nice. She was the only one working that night and kept checking on us to make sure we were okay. However, for the medium sized hookahs the bowls for shisha were pretty small. When you own a hookah business I feel you should have bigger bowls for groups. What happens is the shisha burns faster. I feel they knew this because she just kept replacing the coals... these small bowls only need one or two coals and it is done. She just kept going though so it tasted burnt. It's smart because it saves you money but for $14 a hookah that I'm sharing with two other people I shouldn't have to keep buying hookahs every 30 minutes. It is a nice atmosphere and she was very nice. I just think they need to put more effort into their hookah. Since that is their MAIN reason for buisness it shouldn't be the one thing coming up short. read more

I love the sheisha selection and the atmosphere, but the service leaves much to be desired. This review lost five stars because of a current employee who is always working despite at least seven months of bad reviews. This establishment is fantastic and according to good friends who've been regulars for years insist the owner is wonderful... It's the really bad service consistently given by this one employee. So most of my issue is that the owner either doesn't know how this particular employee is running (ruining?) the shop, or doesn't care. You would think that a business which centers around people sitting for a few hours smoking and chatting would be thrilled to push the incident transactions like drinks and food. Not so! Getting a second drink is nigh impossible. As is ordering from their limited menu. They sell crepes, which are delicious, but I've been told more than once that they are out of crepes. Or tea. Or coffee. Or everything basically. I get it if there is one person working on a busy Friday night and you don't have time to prepare food. Except that you're socializing and smoking hookah yourself. I can't imagine that the business itself is inept at stocking incidentals for a busy night. Which leads me to believe the employee just doesn't want to be bothered. That's fine, but if that's the case, tell me the kitchen is closed. Don't lie to me about it. Respect me enough to be honest and take accountability that you've decided not to serve food or specially drinks. Or have the hookah menus separate and only show me the hookah page. That would still be a let down, but one I understand. Lying to me makes me want to find another establishment. read more

Hidden on the east side of Walmart, is a lunch time jewel. They have a very limited menu but you are looking for an authentic and delicious lunch time bite to eat, Hookah Up Cafe!!! is the place to stop. I started with a hummus (*** 1/2 stars) the serving was large enough for a group of 3-4 and the pita was lightly toasted and warm. For my entree I had the Beef Gyro (**** 1/2 stars) which was prepared picture perfect. The shaved beef and toasty pita provided the perfect wrap for the melody of Mediterranean flavors that exploded in my mouth. The menu is limited, with several varieties of crepes and Mediterranean staple but a great place to stop in and grab a delicious lunch. Service is fast and very personable. Plenty of parking on this side of the mall. If you enjoy Mr. Greeks, then you will appreciate the Hookah Up Cafe!!! read more

With all the money invested in the nice looking interior, you'd think this place would make more of an effort at attracting business. They also take all major credit cards, which I know costs extra (especially taking Discover). But the service, while affable, was totally lackadaisical for a lunch of five people: it took nearly an hour for us to get our food and we were the only ones there. It definitely clouded our impression, even though my Tunisian Crepe was tasty enough. I'd go back for carry-out, and I get the impression the place perks up at night for the hookah crowd. Wonderful place! Great laid back atmosphere, a big imported beer selection, amazing coffee and tea, wonderful snacks and an awesome selection of flavored tobacco. This is definitely the worst experience I have ever had at a hookah lounge. I was visiting Biloxi on vacation and decided to hookah and this location came up. We stopped by on Saturday the 22nd and there was a male host and I was told to seat myself and ordered my hookah a daiquiri and one beer. The ordered items came and I was very disappointed. To start the hookah hose was in very bad condition and over used which is not sanitary for a disposable hose and the water in the base was warm. The male host disputed the obvious. I also informed him that there was black specks in the glass and the daiquiri was just clumped and not mixed unsure how that's possible. When I explained the black specks he denied that he saw anything then he took off his glasses and looked harder then again said he didn't see anything so him not being professional and playing and joking I took the straw and picked up one of the many specks and showed it to him and informed him I didn't want a dirty drink. He went on to say your not going to have to go to the hospital for some black specks and that I'm not going to die he promised WHAT!!!!! When he took the hookah and drink he went on to tell another customer I was complaining and will be a problem. I was in disbelief of what I was hearing. At time of checkout he still insisted on charging for a dirty drink NO WAY. I was ok with paying for the hookah and beer but not a unclean drink. He got into a heated argument with my husband calling him a liar and yelling at him causing my husband to tell him about his unprofessional ways and this was in the presence of other customers. I stepped in to ask who was the owner and I would like the number to speak with them and he told me that he was the owner. He went on to call someone on the phone and it sounded like a woman who told him to comp the drink. I don't see how they are still in business with a B rating this guy was making another customers order with no gloves and he's been coughing the whole entire time. I hope the owner understands this guy is not in any way of trained on customer service and should not work there. Soon they will see when others have the same experience. I would not recommend this lounge to anyone. read more

FOR REGULAR CUSTOMERS ONLY! I visited this place twice. The host must have been having a bad day because he was very upset that my colleagues and I sat ourselves while he was chatting with other customers (regulars). During other times I have been there I was told to sit anywhere. He was very unprofessional and scolded my group of 4 guests that we stole a booth! Having a disabled friend along our intention was just to find a comfortable booth. After apologizing to the mad host we offered to move which frustrated him more. He threw menus our way and when we finally got around to ordering a hookah. We were never served! I guess being a veteran, I expected the same treatment as the others as I knew this establishment frequented many of my comrades. I inquired about the poor customer service through email to get a response of justification that they frequently get busy and can not handle everyone. The place was half empty when we were there! In my opinion it did not justify the unprofessional manner of the staff! Boo on Hookah up! They lost my service for good! Mosaics has great hookah and is professional busy or not. read more

This place was absolutely terrible. I only have one star because you have to give at least one. We walked in and had no greeting or direction whatsoever; we had to ask what we had to do to get a table. Then, the ordering process. We were super rushed. The hookah wouldn't even work. We asked for changes and assistance three times before just walking out. They came back with the same pieces and everything. The foil had too many holes to the point that only air came out. I would never recommend this place. We drove thirty minutes to try it out and we will never be returning. The staff is not friendly at all, and the atmosphere is all wrong. No Bueno. read more
