Scheduled for 5 p.m. Upon arriving, I was told to come back later. I told the same employee, "Never mind." I visit this establishment twice a month. After two canceled appointments on the same day. No! That's not going to happen again. Meaning, I'm not coming back to this spa. I do recommend their massage techniques, but do not rely on their appointment scheduling. Supplemental: I went back to the spa today, and they apologized for yesterday. I accepted their apology. Things happen! I still recommend their spa. I suggest calling ahead to see if they're busy. They don't abide or know what appointments are, so don't request that.

The pressure used on my hips, thighs, and glute area felt too strong for my stage of recovery, and I left feeling physically uncomfortable afterward. I have had lymphatic massages before, and this experience felt very different. The owner did refund my session after I shared my concerns, which I appreciated. I would still encourage post-op clients to clearly discuss pressure level and experience with surgical recovery before booking. I personally would not return for post-op lymphatic massage, and I would encourage others recovering from surgery to ask detailed questions beforehand.

I had specifically asked for a facial that included bodywork as well, and unfortunately, I did not get what I had paid for so that was $100 down the drain. The lady at the front desk was sweet to give me a small discount and some names of another masseuse at their location that would be better for lymphatic massage but unfortunately, I'm kind of hesitant to go back now. If you're looking for a place that gives good lymphatic massages. I do suggest asking for a masseuse that solely focuses on that but my experience with lymphatic massage is here was sadly not a good one and maybe you should look elsewhere for that specific service.. The staff overall is really friendly, which is why I'm giving it three stars and I have not tried their other services, but they're most likely good because it did seem a little busy in there. The massage room is in her home and is super comfortable and relaxing. It's got dark curtains and walls, so the room is dark and den-like, with candles and music: perfect for a massage! She does great work!
